    U.S. Taxpayers Shelled Out $5 Million For Transgender Pregnancies Official data found the U.S. government paid for the pregnancies of 256 transgender men between the years 2014 and 2018. A recent study by University of Michigan researchers found there were 1,907 births among people who were born biological female but who identified as men between 2014 and 2018, the equivalent of nearly 500 a year. Of those, 256 of the men were on Medicaid, a government program that provides health insurance to people who are low-income. The Daily Mail reports the average cost to give birth to a child in the U.S. is around $19,000, which means the taxpayers paid $4.6 million for those births. Subscribe to RT

  • Tesla Sued For Mishandling Hazardous Waste A group of 25 California counties have sued Elon Musk’s Tesla, claiming the electric vehicle maker mishandled hazardous waste at its facilities across the state. Los Angeles, San Francisco, and others, say the carmaker improperly labelled hazardous materials like antifreeze and batteries and sent them to the wrong waste facilities. The lawsuit seeks civil penalties and an injunction that would require the company to properly handle its waste in the future. In an email to Hulu subscribers on Wednesday, the company said it would start" "adding limitations on sharing your account outside of your household" beginning March 14. Hulu’s user agreement, along with the agreements for Disney+ and ESPN+, explicitly prevent users from impersonating someone else by using their username or password.
