UAE condemns Iran for attacking 3rd state owned oil tanker in Strait of Hormuz in 1 week The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has accused Iran of attacking another vessel belonging to its state oil company, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), as it attempted to travel through the Strait of Hormuz, marking the third such incident in a week. "The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned and denounced the hostile Iranian attack that targeted a vessel affiliated with ADNOC as it transited through the Strait of Hormuz, with no injuries reported," the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said in a statement on Saturday... Lol, the oil monkeys just keep running their ships into the blockade like a bunch of zombies in a stupid zombie video game. Dead Island is underestimated. It's a cool game. Not "good." Cool. It's fun. I GOT A ZOMBIE ARMY AND YOU CAN'T HARM ME WHO DO YOU VOODOO BITCH?! @americanmajority
US Türkiye arms transfer to Ukraine "undermines trust" - Moscow Washington is reportedly preparing to authorize the transfer of 70 ATACMS missiles and other weapons worth around $280 million. ...The US State Department notified Congress earlier this month that it was prepared to authorize the re export of weapons from Turkish stocks to Ukraine. The package reportedly includes 70 M39 ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles, 12 M270 multiple launch rocket systems, more than 2,500 M26 rockets with cluster warheads, and 47,000 203mm cluster artillery shells. The total value of the proposed transfers is estimated at around $280 million... Meaning you guys still have some trust left? Wow, that's impressive. @americanmajority

Early on Saturday, at around 1:28 a.m., a shooting took place in the area of the Quad Annexes near Boisseau Street and 3rd Avenue, according to the university. No arrests were announced, despite the university reporting "multiple suspects." The five individuals who were shot were taken to hospitals in the area. One was initially listed as having life threatening injuries and was later upgraded to critical condition, according to county police. The others had non life threatening injuries, police said. Israel kills 11 people, including several children, in deadliest south Lebanon attack in months Israeli warplanes bombed two villages in the Nabatieh District of southern Lebanon early on 15 August, killing at least 11 people, including three children, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported. "The Israeli enemy committed a massacre in the southern town of Ansar at dawn today, resulting in seven martyrs and three wounded," NNA wrote. Israeli warplanes dropped bombs, completely flattening a house on the outskirts of Ansar, in the direction of Al Zarariyeh. Ambulance teams from the Islamic Al Risala Scouts, the Islamic Health Authority, and the Lebanese Civil Defense responded to the attacks, clearing rubble and transporting the dead and the wounded to hospitals in the city of Nabatieh... This happens every day. Every day, Israel kills people all over the region. There will be a reckoning. There always is. @americanmajority

Trump: "After we finish defeating Iran … I'll be declaring the Hormuz Strait a territory of the US" ...Speaking at the Nassau County Police Academy in Garden City, New York, during an event in support of Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman, Trump told a cheering crowd of law enforcement personnel that the geopolitical move would follow the military submission of Tehran. "After we finish defeating Iran, which is being very badly defeated, pretty soon I'll be declaring the Hormuz Strait a territory of the United States," Trump declared, adding that a US naval blockade currently ensures no ships pass through the vital maritime passageway unless authorized by Washington... @americanmajority
US treasury chief threatens Iran with "never before seen" economic isolation US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on 13 August that Washington is preparing "never before seen" punitive economic measures against Iran, to be enforced alongside an ongoing blockade of Iranian ports to all traffic. "Watch this space for more announcements coming next week because we are going to apply measures like have never been seen in the history of economic isolation on a country," Bessent said. Describing the approach as a "one two punch," Bessent said the measures "will be a combination of economic isolation like the world has never seen before, and the continued blockade in the Strait of Hormuz that will keep anything from going in or out of the Iranian ports..." The US is applying everything it can. If Iran survives this or, even more impressively, actually comes out on top, that'll be the beginning of the end. That'll be the final death spiral for the empire. No, I'm not sure. We will see. @americanmajority
The illusion of law Judges will not save our republic. Law is power with lipstick. Contra Chief Justice John Roberts, judges are not really umpires calling balls and strikes. The rules and precedents they must interpret are too diffuse and contradictory; choosing which to prioritize or rely upon is a bit like looking out over a crowd and picking your friends. Decisions of the United States Supreme Court are better understood as corroborative. Majority, concurring, and dissenting opinions alike are the product of subjective reasoning, often telling us more about the priorities and predilections of their authors than the objective meaning of the law itself. Hey, that's actually a decent article! They can do it when they want to. This one by Bruce Fein. Go read it. @americanmajority
What is RT doing?
Russia will destroy Western support for Kiev's war machine ...The minister said Moscow would not resort to the same tactics, but warned that its response would become increasingly severe. "We will not sink to their level. Instead, we will adopt much harsher methods to destroy everything that enables the West to fuel Kiev's war machine. We are already doing this, and they are already moaning." he said. The minister also reiterated that Ukrainian and Western proposals to freeze the conflict along the current front line are unacceptable. He argued that doing so under present conditions would amount to betraying both the Soviet victory over the Axis powers in World War II and the broader history of Russian statehood... Speaking of shit that is exhausting... Any day now, comrade. PATEL?! I am waiting for the new leads! @americanmajority
Now let me use normal language... It's bullshit. Not in a sense that nothing changed, but in the same sense as with literally everything the dude does or says. It's either a complete fabrication or an off the wall exaggeration. In fact, overall US prices were still rising. The overall CPI increased 3.4% over the year through July, while medical care services rose 2.7%. That's according TO THE SAME BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS ARTICLE THE GUY QUOTES! So hey, feel good about a large year on year drop while the prices actually keep rising. Don't believe me? Here, read it yourself! www.bls.gov/news.release/cpi.htm OANN does their typical bullshit artist trick of taking real statistics and twisting them to shill for some asshole by presenting them from an isolated reference frame. Do you even narrative frame, bro?! This is so exhausting. @americanmajority
Ehm ehm... The article contains a real statistic but presents it in a misleading way. US prescription drug prices did fall sharply - about 3.1% year over year, the steepest annual decline in roughly 60 years. However, that means the rate of price change hit a 60 year low; it does not mean drug prices themselves are the lowest in 60 years. TrumpRx is real and has delivered substantial discounts on selected medicines, and the Trump administration has negotiated price reductions with drugmakers. But the BLS data do not establish that TrumpRx or Trump's policies caused the nationwide 3.1% decline. The prescription drug CPI reflects overall amounts paid, including insurance discounts, Medicare payments, and consumers switching to cheaper drugs. Thus, OAN turns a genuine economic statistic into a stronger political claim than the evidence supports. The fair conclusion is: drug prices really have fallen dramatically, while the claim that TrumpRx caused the historic decline remains unproven. @americanmajority
WH: Prescription drugs drop to a record 60 year low thanks to TrumpRx ...President Donald Trump has long pledged to lower prescription drug costs, and the White House credited these recent price cuts to TrumpRx - a service that delivers select medications directly to patients' homes. Highlighting the high cost of GLP-1 weight loss medications, which Trump informally dubbed the "fat drug," officials pointed to the platform’s entry level doses starting at $150. On Thursday, the White House declared that prescription drug prices are now plummeting thanks to President Trump's ongoing efforts to slash prices. "Prescription drug prices PLUMMETING," the post read. "Thanks to President Trump's promise to SLASH prescription drug costs and TrumpRx, drug prices just saw their sharpest drop in more than 60 YEARS. MORE WINNING FOR AMERICA!" HAHAHAHAHAHA... What a misleading article. Classic OANN. I'll explain why in the next post. I'll write it in the sanitized journo style we all know and love. @americanmajority
Pentagon lost one fourth of US drone fleet in war on Iran Washington has lost one fourth of its entire MQ-9 Reaper drone fleet since the start of the war on Iran, the Washington Post reported on 13 August, citing anonymous US officials. At least 45 MQ-9 Reaper drones, used to conduct surveillance and targeted strikes, have been shot down, accounting for around 25 percent of the US military's supply. Not all of those drones were shot down by Iranian air defenses, one official said, with an unspecified number of them crashing due to communication failures... While I stand behind what I said about Iranians blowing their own trumpets way too early, I absolutely think they've managed to demonstrate our army's limits. Pretty clearly, in fact. We've achieved fuck all in Iran as of this moment. Khamenei for a younger Khamenei, as the joke goes. The casualties we've suffered so far as nowhere near being insignificant. I'd call them pretty damn bad. Especially when it comes to planes. @americanmajority
Oil prices rise as US threatens indefinite naval blockade of Iran Oil prices climbed on Friday and were set for weekly gains after the US threatened to impose an indefinite naval blockade on Iran, fueling concerns over potential disruptions to crude supplies from West Asia. Brent futures rose $1.43, or 1.64%, to $88.50 a barrel at 08:10 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate crude gained $1.56, or 1.92%, to $82.81 a barrel. Look, I'll keep sharing stuff like this, because I guess (???) it's important news. To someone, I'm sure. Many of you know I personally don't give a shit and consider all of this fake and gay. But maybe I'm wrong, I've no idea. @americanmajority
British taxpayers unknowingly subsidize therapy for Israeli soldiers UK taxpayers are unknowingly subsidizing "therapeutic healing" and psychological treatment of Israeli soldiers who served in Gaza, Declassified UK reported on 13 August. The investigation revealed that an undisclosed sum reached the Yahalom Foundation, an Israeli veterans group serving the Israeli military engineering unit, through a British charity, with the government adding a further 25 percent under the Gift Aid scheme. That additional quarter comes from the British government, which administers Gift Aid through His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC)... The British taxpayer, just like us, subsidizes a lot of shit. Many horrible crimes against humanity included. But why would they care? IT'S THE MANCHASTER DARBY THIS WEEKEND MATE! OI OI! @americanmajority
