The diagram shows the process by which a World Cup football trophy is made. The linear process overall involves 7 steps including both computer-based modelling and manual crafts. The metal is left to allow cooling and solidifying before the trophy is removed. Its surface is then carefully polished to make it smooth and shiny. Following this, decorative features are engraved around the base of the trophy, and a nameplate is added.
