Best Wishes of Ram Navmi to All... Been a long time connecting...but it's just been like that! A msg for aspirants here: It may be cliched but in CSE, your real competition is not with others but with yourself. You cannot control how others might perform in the exam but you can control your preparation. Everyday, if you can just prepare better than you did yesterday, you will see the confidence growing in you. Ideally, this confidence should culminate with each level of the exam...be it Prelims, Mains or interview. Of course there are going to few odd days in between but be sure to get back stronger. If you ARE going the exam, go all out! So...as you get into the final stride for Prelims, remember, this exam rewards consistency and perseverance. That's the least you could do. Best, NK

The owner of a large steel factory was crossing through one of his mills one day at noon when he came across some of his employees smoking. Immediately above their heads was a sign that said "No smoking." If you are that owner, what would you have done? Probably said, "Can't you read!?" Think about it once, before reading what the owner did. Well the owner just walked over to the men. Handed each one a  cigar, and said, "I'll appreciate it boys if you will smoke these on the outside." Result: The employees knew that the owner knew they had broken a rule. And they admired him because he said nothing about it and gave them a little present instead and made them feel important.

To be interesting, be interested.

One of my friends made it to the CSE final list this time...and AIR 32 in Forest Service results today! Would highly recommend watching his talk (even if at 1.25x).
