  • Students say NO to Hanson. Nationwide Day of Protest. Sydney Town Hall. 13 August 2026. There was meant to be a march from Sydney Uni joining with the UTS students and then onward to Town Hall. I caught-up with them at UTS but there were only a few dozen. The large crowd was at Town Hall. Consisting primarily of school students. There were a number of speeches followed by a circular march around 2 city blocks. In their words; “Pauline Hanson’s One Nation continues to ride high in the polls. Hanson has channeled this anger into racist scapegoating of migrants, using her renewed platform to spew division and hate. She has called for a return to the White Australia Policy, claimed domestic violence is a “two-way street” and wants to roll back abortion rights. That’s why students across the country are walking out of classes and joining protests to “Say no to Hanson”" Part 6 of 6 https://t.me/Sydney_Protest Additional information from before the protest in the comments below 👇👇
