  • https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb8ZzpQLNSa1UGueij2o تَذَكَّر | Tadhakkar Words worth remembering. Wisdom worth preserving. Here, we share brief reminders carrying profound meanings, shared in simple images for those who seek knowledge, reflection, and reform. HE gives wisdom to whom HE wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. But none remember (will receive admonition) except men of understanding. {Surah Al-Baqarah: 269} Read it. Reflect on it. Live by it. https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb8ZzpQLNSa1UGueij2o

  • THE RELIGION IS EASY ALLĀH says And HE (ALLĀH) has not laid upon you in religion any hardship, HE has not given you more than you can bear and HE has not obliged you to do anything that will cause you difficulty except that HE has created for you a way out. So the Salah, which is the most important pillar of Islam after the two testimonies of faith, is obligatory, four Rak'ahs when one is settled, which are shortened to two Rak'ah when one is traveling. According to some Imams, only one Rak'ahs is obligatory at times of fear, as was recorded in the Hadith. A person may pray while walking or riding, facing the Qiblah or otherwise. When praying optional prayers while traveling, one may face the Qiblah or not. A person is not obliged to stand during the prayer if he is sick; the sick person may pray sitting down, and if he is not able to do that then he may pray lying on his side. And there are other exemptions and dispensations which may apply to the obligatory prayers and other duties. So the Prophet said: "I have been sent with the easy Hanifi way." And he said to Mu'adh and Abu Musa, when he sent them as governors to Yemen: "Give good news and do not repel them. Make things easy for the people and do not make the things difficult for them." And there are many similar Hadiths. {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} #ibnkathir #Hajj (22:78) https://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits http://bio.link/albaseerah

  • CREATION WAS MADE WITH JUSTICE AND WISDOM ALLĀH says, WE did not create the heaven and earth and that between them in play. Here ALLĀH tells us that HE did not create the heavens and the earth without purpose or for no reason; rather HE created them in truth and for the truth, so that people may find proof in them that HE is the Almighty Creator, wise controller, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful to Whom belong all attributes of perfection, to Whom be all praise and glory, Whose word is true and Whose Messengers are truthful in what they tell. The One Who is able to create the heavens and the earth, despite their immense vastness, is also able to recreate bodies after their death, so that HE may requite the doer of good for his good deeds and the doer of evil for his evil deeds. If WE had wanted to take a pastime - this is said only for argument’s sake, because it is impossible WE could have done so, if WE were to do such a thing (¹) and WE would not have disclosed to you what it would contain of vanity and frivolity, because that is a shortcoming and a negative reflection on US, and WE would not want to show it to you. The real purpose behind the heavens and the earth, which are always visible to you, cannot be vain or frivolous. All of this is said by way of argument and addressed to small-minded people and is aimed at convincing them by all possible means. Glory be to the Most Forbearing, Most Merciful, Who is Most Wise and deals with all matters appropriately. {Tafsi‌r As-Sa'di} (¹) Mujahid said, every time the word أَن (if) is used in the Qur'an, it is a negation. {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} #sadi #ibnkathir #anbiya (21:16-17) https://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits http://bio.link/albaseerah

  • WHO WERE THE ROMANS ALLĀH tells: غُلِبَتِ الرُّومُ The Romans have been defeated. With regard to the Romans (Ar-Rum), they are the descendents of Al-'Iys bin Ishaq bin Ibrahim. They are the cousins of the Children of Isra'il, and are also known as Bani Al-Asfar. They used to followed the religion of the Greeks, who were descendents of Yafith bin Nuh, the cousins of the Turks. They used to worship the seven planets, and they prayed facing the direction of the North Pole. It is they who founded Damascus and built its temple in which there is a prayer niche facing north. The Romans followed this religion until approximately three hundred years after the time of the Messiah. The king who ruled Greater Syria along with the Fertile Crescent (semicircle of fertile land from Syrian Desert to Persian Gulf) was called Caesar. The first of them to enter the Christian religion was Constantine the son of Costas, whose mother was Maryam Al-Hilaniyyah Ash-Shadqaniyyah, from the land of Harran. She had become Christian before him, and she invited him to her religion. Before that he had been a philosopher, then he followed her. It was said that this was merely an outward show of belief. Then the Christians met with him. During his time they debated with Abdullah bin Ariyus (Arius) and great differences arose which could not be reconciled. Then a gathering of three hundred and eighteen bishops reached an agreement, and presented their creed to Constantine. This is what they call the Great Trust, but in fact it is the Worst Betrayal. They presented to him their laws, i.e., books of rulings on what was lawful and prohibited, and other things that they needed. They changed the religion of the Messiah (peace be upon him), adding some things and taking some things away. They began praying towards the East, and changed the Sabbath (Saturday) rites to Sunday. They worshipped the cross, permitted eating of pigs, adopted innovated observances such as the festival of the cross, Mass, baptism, etc., Palm Sunday and other occasions. They appointed a pope, as their leader, and patriarchs, metropolitans, bishops, priests and deacons, and they invented monasticism. The king built churches and places of worship for them, and he founded the city which is named after him, Constantinople. It was said that during his time twelve thousand churches were built, three places of prayer in Bethlehem, and that his mother built the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. These are the ones who followed the religion of the kings. Then after them came the Jacobites, followers of Ya'qub Al-Askaf, then the Nestorians, the followers of Nestorius. There are many groups and sects among them, as the Messenger of ALLĀH said: "They split into seventy-two sects." The point here is that they continued to follow Christianity. Every time one Caesar died, another succeeded him, until the last of them, Heraclius, came to power. {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} #ibnkathir #Room (30:7) https://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits

  • ALLĀH ALONE IS THE BESTOWER OF GUIDANCE ALLĀH says, And he to whom ALLĀH has not granted light - for him there is no light. One whom ALLĀH does not guide is ignorant and doomed, an utter loser and disbeliever... We ask ALLĀH the Almighty to put light in our hearts and give us light on our right and on our left, and to increase us in light {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} #ibnkathir #nur (24:40) It is Sunnah to recite the following Du'a when walking to the mosque from home: "O ALLĀH, place light in my heart, and on my tongue light, and in my ears light and in my sight light, and above me light, and below me light, and to my right light, and to my left light, and before me light and behind me light. Place in my soul light. Magnify for me light, and amplify for me light. Make for me light and make me a light. O ALLĀH, grant me light, and place light in my nerves, and in my body light and in my blood light and in my hair light and in my skin light. O ALLĀH, make for me a light in my grave... and a light in my bones. Increase me in light, increase me in light, increase me in light. Grant me light upon light." {See Hisnul-Muslim #12} https://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits

  • GOOD NEWS OF ALLĀH'S SUPPORT FOR THE BELIEVERS WHO ADHERE TO THE SUNNAH OF THE MESSENGER (ﷺ) ALLĀH said, O Prophet, sufficient for you is ALLĀH and for whoever follows you of the believers. That is, HE will take care of you and your followers among the believers. This is a promise from ALLĀH to HIS believing slaves who follow HIS Messenger (ﷺ), that HE will suffice them and support them against their enemies. Therefore if they take proper measures, namely believing and following the Prophet (ﷺ), then HE will inevitably suffice them with regard to that which concerns them of both spiritual and worldly matters. That support is not granted only when its conditions are not met. {Tafsi‌r As-Sa'di} #sadi #anfal (8:64) https://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits http://bio.link/albaseerah

  • ALLĀH GUIDED THE UMMAH OF MUHAMMAD TO THE TRUTH IN WHICH THE JEWS AND CHRISTIANS DIFFERED ALLĀH says; Mankind was one community and ALLĀH sent Prophets with glad tidings and warnings, and with them HE sent down the Scripture in truth to judge between people in matters wherein they differed. And only those to whom (the Scripture) was given differed concerning it, after clear proofs had come unto them, through hatred, one to another. Ibn Jarir reported that Ibn Abbas said, "There were ten generations between Adam and Nuh, all of them on the religion of Truth. They later disputed so ALLĀH sent the Prophets as warners and bringers of glad tidings." ... Abdur-Razzaq reported that Abu Hurayrah commented on: فَهَدَى اللّهُ الَّذِينَ امَنُواْ لِمَا اخْتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِهِ Then ALLĀH by HIS leave guided those who believed to the truth of that wherein they differed, saying that the Prophet said: "We are the last (nation), but the first (foremost) on the Day of Resurrection. We are the first people to enter Paradise, although they (Jews and Christians) have been given the Book before us and we after them. ALLĀH has guided us to the truth wherever they disputed over it. This is the day (Friday) that they disputed about, ALLĀH guided us to it. So, the people follow us, as tomorrow is for the Jews and the day after is for the Christians." Ibn Wahb related that Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam said that his father said about the Ayah: فَهَدَى اللّهُ الَّذِينَ امَنُواْ لِمَا اخْتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِهِ Then ALLĀH by HIS leave guided those who believed to the truth of that wherein they differed, "They disputed about the day of Congregation (Friday). The Jews made it Saturday while the Christians chose Sunday. ALLĀH guided the Ummah of Muhammad to Friday. They also disputed about the true Qiblah. The Christians faced the east while the Jews faced Bayt Al-Maqdis. ALLĀH guided the Ummah of Muhammad to the true Qiblah (Ka'bah in Makkah). They also disputed about the prayer, as some of them bow down, but do not prostrate, while others prostrate, but do not bow down. Some of them pray while talking and some while walking. ALLĀH guided the Ummah of Muhammad to the truth. They also disputed about the fast; some of them fast during a part of the day, while others fast from certain types of foods. ALLĀH guided the Ummah of Muhammad to the truth. They also disputed about Ibrahim. The Jews said, 'He was a Jew,' while the Christians considered him Christian. ALLĀH has made him a Haniyfan Musliman. ALLĀH has guided the Ummah of Muhammad to the truth. They also disputed about Isa. The Jews rejected him and accused his mother of a grave sin, while the Christians made him a god and the son of GOD. ALLĀH made him by HIS Word and a spirit from (those HE created) HIM. ALLĀH guided the Ummah of Muhammad to the truth." {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} #IbnKathir #baqarah (2:213) http://bio.link/albaseerah http://bio.link/albaseerah

  • Which of the following is the meaning of 'Amīn' according to the MAJORITY of scholars?

  • ALL THAT OCCURS TO MANKIND IS BY ALLĀH'S PERMISSION ALLĀH said, No calamity occurs except by ALLĀH's leave This is general in meaning and includes all calamities, whether they affect the individual himself, his wealth, his children, his loved ones and so on. Everything that befalls people happens by the will and decree of ALLĀH, and was already known to ALLĀH in HIS prior knowledge and was written by HIS pen, ordained by HIS will and dictated by HIS wisdom. What matters is whether the individual will do what is required of him or not. If he does what is required of him, then he will have a great reward in this world and the hereafter. If he believes that it is from ALLĀH, and he accepts it and submits to HIS decree, ALLĀH will guide his heart, and he will be reassured and will not panic at times of calamity, as happens in the case of one whose heart is not guided by ALLĀH. Indeed ALLĀH will grant him steadfastness when calamity strikes, and will help them to adhere to patience. Thus he will attain reward in this world, in addition to what ALLĀH has stored up for him on the day of requital. As ALLĀH, Glorified and Exalted, says elsewhere: إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى ٱلصَّٰبِرُونَ أَجۡرَهُم بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٍ ...verily, those who are patient and steadfast will be rewarded abundantly, without measure.(39:10) Thus it is known that whoever does not believe in ALLĀH when calamity strikes, in the sense that he does not acknowledge the divine will and decree, and focuses only on causes, will be forsaken and ALLĀH will leave him to his own devices. If a person is left to his own devices, in that case he has nothing left at the time of calamity except panic and despair, which is an immediate punishment before the punishment of the hereafter, for having fallen short in adhering to patience. {Tafsi‌r As-Sa'di} #ibnkathir #taghabun (64:11) http://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits http://bio.link/albaseerah

  • THE DEATH OF SULEIMAN (PEACE BE UPON HIM) ALLĀH tells: فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَوْتَ Then when WE decreed death for him (Suleiman), ALLĀH tells us how Suleiman, peace be upon him, died and how ALLĀH concealed his death from the Jinn who were subjugated to him to do hard labor. He remained leaning on his stick, which was his staff, as Ibn Abbas may ALLĀH be pleased with him, Mujahid, Al-Hasan, Qatadah and others said. He stayed like that for a long time, nearly a year. When a creature of the earth, which was a kind of worm, ate through the stick, it became weak and fell to the ground. Then it became apparent that he had died a long time before. It also became clear to Jinn and men alike that the Jinn do not know the Unseen as they (the Jinn) used to imagine and tried to deceive people. This is what ALLĀH says:   مَا دَلَّهُمْ عَلَى مَوْتِهِ إِلاَّ دَابَّةُ الاْاَرْضِ تَأْكُلُ مِنسَأَتَهُ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ الْجِنُّ أَن لَّوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ الْغَيْبَ مَا لَبِثُوا فِي الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِينِ nothing informed them (Jinn) of his death except a little worm of the earth which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his stick. So when he fell down, the Jinn saw clearly that if they had known the Unseen, they would not have stayed in the humiliating torment. meaning, it became clear to the people that they (the Jinn) were lying. {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} #ibnkathir #saba (34:14) http://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits http://bio.link/albaseerah

  • ETIQUETTE FOR FRIDAY It is recommended that: one cleans his body, performs Ghusl, wears his best clothes, applies perfume and  uses Siwak (tooth stick) for Jumu'ah. We mentioned that Abu Sa'id narrated that the Messenger of ALLĀH said, "Ghusl on the day of Jumu'ah is Wajib (required) from every Muhtalim and also using Siwak and applying some of his household's perfume." Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari said that he heard the Messenger of ALLĀH say, "Whoever performs Ghusl on Friday and applies perfume, if he has any, wears his best clothes, then goes to the Masjid and performs voluntary prayer, if he wishes, does not bother anyone, listens when the Imam appears until he starts the prayer. Then all of this will be an expiation for whatever occurs between that Friday and the next Friday." Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah recorded in their Sunans that Abdullah bin Salam said that he heard the Messenger of ALLĀH say, while on the Minbar: "What harm would it cause if one of you bought two garments for the day of Jumu'ah, other than the garment he wears daily?" A'ishah said that during a speech he gave on a Friday when he saw people wearing Nimar garments, the Messenger of ALLĀH said, "When one of you has wealth, he should keep two garments for Friday, other than the two garments he has for his daily wear." Ibn Majah collected this Hadith. {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} #Ibnkathir #jumuah (62:9) https://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits

  • THE VIRTUE OF THE QUR'AN ALLĀH says, Indeed, WE have sent down for you a Book WE have sent down to you - O people to whom Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abdul-Muttalib (ﷺ) was sent - a noble Book and a clear Qur’an, فِيهِ ذِكْرُكُمْ in which there is honour for you. That is, renown, pride and a lofty status, if you pay heed to what it contains of true stories, then believe in it, comply with what it enjoins and avoid what it forbids. Then you will rise in status and become significant. أَفَلَ تَعْقِلُونَ will you not then understand what will benefit you and what will harm you? How can you not accept it and not strive to adhere to that in which is your renown and honour in this world and in the hereafter? If you had any understanding, you would have followed this path. But because you did not follow it, and you followed other paths instead that would lead to humiliation and to low status and misery in this world and the hereafter, it is known that you have no sound reasoning or understanding. This verse is confirmed by what happened in reality: those who believed in the Messenger (ﷺ) and followed the teachings of the Qur’an, namely the Sahabah and those who came after them, attained honour, high status and great renown, and were elevated to a higher position than kings, as is well known to everyone. It is also known what happened to those who did not adhere to this Qur’an and were not guided by it and did not purify themselves on the basis thereof: they were brought low, despised, tainted and wretched. There is no way to attain happiness in this world or the hereafter except by adhering to the teachings of this Book. {Tafsi‌r As-Sa'di} #sadi #anbiya (21:10) Amir ibn Wathila reported that Nafi ibn Abd al-Harith met Umar (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) at Usfan and Umar had employed him as collector in Makkah. He (Umar) said to him (Nafi): 'Whom have you appointed as collector over the people of the valley?' He said: 'Ibn Abza.' He said: 'Who is Ibn Abza?' He said: 'He is one of our freed slaves.' He (Umar) said: 'So you have appointed a freed slave over them.' He said: 'He is well versed In the Book of ALLĀH. the Exalted and Great, and he is well versed In the commandments and injunctions (of the Shari'ah).' Umar said: 'Did not your Prophet (ﷺ) say: "ALLĀH raises some people (in status) because of this book and brings others low because of it?" {Muslim #817} http://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits http://bio.link/albaseerah

  • THE QUR'AN EXPLAINS EVERYTHING ALLĀH says: وَنَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ تِبۡيَٰنًا لِّكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ And WE have sent down to you the Book as an explanation for all things, both the fundamental and minor issues of religion, rulings in this world and the hereafter, and everything that people need to know. It explains fully, in clear words, to the extent that ALLĀH, Glorified and Exalted, repeats in it the most important matters that one needs to be aware of at all times. The Qur’an repeats these ideas and discusses them in different words, and with different approaches and proofs, so that they become well- established in people’s hearts and bear good fruit, according to how firmly established they are in the heart. ALLĀH uses clear, short and comprehensive phrases that include many meanings. Consider, for example, the verse that follows this one, and what it contains of innumerable commands and prohibitions. As this Qur’an explains all things, it constitutes the proof of ALLĀH against all people. Therefore it has left no excuse for the wrongdoers, and the Muslims benefitted from it, as it became a source of guidance for them, by which they are guided with regard to all their affairs, both religious and worldly. It is also a mercy for them, through which they attain all good in this world and the hereafter. Guidance is that by means of which they attain beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds, and mercy is what results from that of reward in this world and the hereafter, such as spiritual well-being, a sense of reassurance, perfection of reasoning which cannot be perfected unless it is based on the meanings of the Qur’an, which are the most sublime meanings, good deeds, good manners, abundant provision, victory over enemies in word and deed, and attaining the pleasure of ALLĀH and HIS paradise, in which are eternal blessings such as no one knows except the Most Merciful Lord. {Tafsi‌r As-Sa'di} Al-Awza'i said: وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ تِبْيَانًا لِّكُلِّ شَيْءٍ And WE have sent down to you the Book as an explanation for all things, meaning, with the Sunnah. The is the reason why the phrase, And WE have revealed the Book to you, is mentioned immediately after the phrase, And WE shall bring you (O Muhammad) as a witness against these. the meaning - and ALLĀH knows best - is that the One Who obligated you to convey the Book which HE revealed to you, will also ask you about that on the Day of Resurrection. {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} #sadi #ibnkathir #nahl (16:89) http://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits http://bio.link/albaseerah

  • FASTING THE DAY OF ĀSHŪRĀ ALLĀH says, And remember when WE separated the sea for you and saved you and drowned Firawn's (Pharaoh) people while you were watching. means, After WE saved you from Firawn and you escaped with Musa; Firawn went out in your pursuit and WE parted the sea for you.' ALLĀH mentioned this story in detail, as we will come to know, ALLĀH willing. One of the shortest references to this story is ALLĀH's statement, فَأَنجَيْنَاكُمْ And saved you meaning, "WE saved you from them, drowning them while you watched, bringing relief to your hearts and humiliation to your enemy." It was reported that the day the Children of Israel were saved from Firawn was called the day of Ashura. Imam Ahmad reported that Ibn Abbas said that; the Messenger of ALLĀH came to Al-Madinah and found that the Jews were fasting the day of Ashura. He asked them, "What is this day that you fast?" They said, "This is a good day during which ALLĀH saved the Children of Israel from their enemy, and Musa used to fast this day." The Messenger of ALLĀH said, "I have more right to Musa than you have." So the Messenger of ALLĀH fasted that day and ordered that it be fasted. This Hadith was collected by Al-Bukhari, Muslim, An-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah. {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} #IbnKathir #baqarah (2:50) https://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits http://bio.link/albaseerah

  • HOW FIR'AWN AND HIS PEOPLE WERE DROWNED More than one of the scholars of Tafsir said that Fir'awn set out with a huge group, a group containing the leaders and entire government of Egypt at that time, i.e., the decision-makers and influential figures, princes, ministers, nobles, leaders and soldiers. ALLĀH tells: فَأَتْبَعُوهُم مُّشْرِقِينَ So, they pursued them at sunrise. means, they caught up with the Children of Israel at sunrise And when the two hosts saw each other, means, each group saw the other. At that point, قَالَ أَصْحَابُ مُوسَى إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ the companions of Musa said: "We are sure to be overtaken." This was because Fir'awn and his people caught up with them on the shores of the Red Sea, so the sea was ahead of them and Fir'awn and his troops were behind them. Hence they said: إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ We are sure to be overtaken (Musa) said:"Nay, verily with me is my Lord. HE will guide me." meaning, nothing of what you fear will happen to you, for ALLĀH is the One Who commanded me to bring you here, and HE does not go back on HIS promise.' إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ verily with me is my Lord. He will guide me. Harun, peace be upon him, was in the front, with Yusha bin Nun and a believer from the family of Firawn, and Musa, peace be upon him, was in the rear. More than one of the scholars of Tafsir said that they stood there not knowing what to do, and Yusha bin Nun or the believer from the family of Firawn said to Musa, peace be upon him, "O Prophet of ALLĀH, is it here that your Lord commanded you to bring us!" He said: "Yes." Then Firawn and his troops drew near and were very close indeed. At that point ALLĀH commanded his Prophet Musa, peace be upon him, to strike the sea with his staff, so he struck it, and it parted, by the will of ALLĀH. Then WE revealed to Musa (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part became like huge mountain. meaning, like mighty mountains. This was the view of Ibn Mas'ud, Ibn Abbas, Muhammad bin Ka'b, Ad-Dahhak, Qatadah and others. Ata' Al-Khurasani said, "It refers to a pass between two mountains." Ibn Abbas said, "The sea divided into twelve paths, one for each of the tribes." As-Suddi added, "And in it there were windows through which they could see one another, and the water was erected like walls." ALLĀH sent the wind to the sea bed to make it solid like the land. ALLĀH says: فَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ طَرِيقاً فِى الْبَحْرِ يَبَساً لاَّ تَخَافُ دَرَكاً وَلَا تَخْشَى and strike a dry path for them in the sea, fearing neither to be overtaken nor being afraid. (20:77) And here HE says: وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ الاْأخَرِينَ Then WE brought near the others to that place. Ibn Abbas, Ata' Al-Khurasani, Qatadah and As-Suddi said: وَأَزْلَفْنَا Then We brought near means, "We brought Fir'awn and his troops near to the sea." And WE saved Musa and all those with him. Then WE drowned the others. meaning: 'WE saved Musa and the Children of Israel and whoever followed their religion, and none of them were destroyed, but Fir'awn and his troops were drowned and not one of them remained alive, but was destroyed.' {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} #ibnkathir #shuara (26:60-65) https://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits http://bio.link/albaseerah

  • THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL WERE SAVED FROM PHARAOH AND HIS ARMY WHO DROWNED ALLĀH said to the Children of Israel, "Remember MY favor on you وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَاكُم مِّنْ الِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوَءَ الْعَذَابِ And remember when WE delivered you from Fir'awn's (Pharaoh) people, who were afflicting you with a horrible torment, meaning, 'I - ALLĀH - saved you from them and delivered you from their hands in the company of Musa, after they subjected you to horrible torture.' This favor came after the cursed Pharaoh had a dream in which he saw a fire emerge from Bayt Al-Maqdis (Jerusalem), and then the fire entered the houses of the Coptics in Egypt, with the exception of the Children of Israel. Its purport was that his kingship would be toppled by a man among the Children of Israel. It was also said that some of Pharaoh's entourage said that the Children of Israel were expecting a man among them to arise who would establish a state for them. We will mention the Hadith on this subject when we explain Surah Ta Ha, ALLĀH willing. After the dream, Pharaoh ordered that every newborn male among the Children of Israel be killed and that the girls be left alone. He also commanded that the Children of Israel be given tasks of hard labor and assigned the most humiliating jobs. The torment here refers to killing the male infants. ... We should state here that Pharaoh (Fir'awn) is a title that was given to every disbelieving king who ruled Egypt, whether from the Amaliq (Canaanites) or otherwise, just as Caesar (Qaysar) is the title of the disbelieving kings who ruled Rome and Damascus. Also, Khosrau (Kisra) is the title of the kings who ruled Persia, while Tubba is the title of the kings of Yemen, and the kings of Abyssinia (Ethiopia) were called Negus (An-Najashi). ALLĀH said, وَفِي ذَلِكُم بَلء مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ And therein was a mighty trial from your Lord. Ibn Jarir commented that this part of the Ayah means, "Our saving your fathers from the torment that they suffered by the hand of Pharaoh, is a great blessing from your Lord." We should mention that in the blessing there a is test, the same as with hardship, for ALLĀH said, وَنَبْلُوكُم بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً And WE shall make a trial of you with evil and with good. (21:35) and, وَبَلَوْنَـهُمْ بِالْحَسَنَـتِ وَالسَّيِّيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ And WE tried them with good (blessings) and evil (calamities) in order that they might turn (to obey ALLĀH. (7:168). {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} #ibnkathir #baqarah (2:49) https://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits http://bio.link/albaseerah
