The forum was organised by the Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC), in collaboration with the General Department of Taxation (GDT), and was held on 23 July 2026 at the General Department of Taxation. On this occasion, Ms. Fong Vathana, Partner and Founder of VSD Audit and Assurance Co., Ltd., delivered a presentation and participated in the panel discussion on “Value Added Tax (VAT) Refund”, sharing practical private sector experience relating to the VAT refund mechanism, key implementation challenges, and recommendations to further strengthen compliance with tax laws and regulations. The forum was attended by senior management and officials of the General Department of Taxation, tax professionals, private sector representatives, TAFTAC members and leadership, providing an important platform to exchange views and discuss key tax matters, as well as to identify practical solutions for business implementation in Cambodia.
