  • TRUE STORY: Harry Truman's mother, Martha Young Truman, endured the suffering imposed on Missourians by Yankee troops. In an 1861 raid when she was nine, Yankee "Jayhawkers" looted her family farm and stole their silver. Later, her family was displaced by the harsh, forced evacuations of General Order No. 11. She never forgot it. When President Truman was invited to a prominent Kansas family's for dinner she told him: "When you go there, turn the silverware over and check the hallmark. It's probably ours."

  • We fixed it! 😂😂

  • Let your pride in them sustain your joy!

  • "I am very happy to take part in this unveiling of the statue of General Robert E. Lee. All over the United States we recognize him as a great leader of men, as a great general. But, also, all over the United States I believe that we recognize him as something much more important than that. We recognize Robert E. Lee as one of our greatest American Christians and one of our greatest American gentlemen." —Franklin D. Roosevelt

  • Hundreds of thousands of Southern men, women and children died for this flag. NO ONE has the right to remove it from anywhere... …and we shouldn't let them without one heck of a fight. We wonder if this generation is up to the task. Photo: Flags Across Virginia - Credit Judy Smith Photography

  • Stand strong, Shenandoah County!  You have God, the law, and TRUE Virginians behind you as you seek to set a precedence that should be followed in every locality where a name, statue or memorial has been unlawfully and immorally removed.   APPEAL this decision and KEEP THE NAMES!

  • The grave of Confederate Captain John C. Mitchel in Charleston, South Carolina. While commanding Fort Sumpter in defense of South Carolina in 1864, Captain Mitchel was mortally wounded by an enemy artillery shell on one of the parapets. Captain Mitchel was the son of famed Irish Nationalist leader John Mitchel. His last words to his comrades as while dying were: “I willingly give my life for South Carolina. Oh! that I could have died for Ireland!” After the war his comrades designed his grave to resemble the parapet upon which he gave his life.

  • Cooter’s Good Ole Boy Festival, 2019. We will miss you, Ben Jones aka "Cooter" and your tireless efforts to defend the good name of our Confederate heroes!

  • It’s our birthright. It’s our privilege. It’s our duty.

The Virginia Flaggers are devastated to learn of the sudden passing of our dear friend Ben Jones aka "Cooter" earlier today. Ben was a giant among men, yet humble in his dealings with everyone. He was a fierce defender of Southern Heritage, and such an encouragement to me through the years. I miss him already. Please keep Ms Alma and the rest of the family in your prayers. Go rest high, Ben, and thank you for a life well lived. ❤️🙏🏼 ✝️

The Virginia Flaggers’ I-95 Wade Hampton Roadside Memorial Battle Flag, just south of Petersburg, Virginia. “I tried all in my power to avert this war. I saw it coming, for twelve years I worked night and day to prevent it, but I could not. The North was mad and blind; it would not let us govern ourselves, and so the war came, and now it must go on unless you acknowledge our right to self government. We are not fighting for slavery. We are fighting for Independence.” President Jefferson Davis, CSA

We don’t have all the answers to life, but we have Jesus. Jesus, who existed before the creation of the world. Jesus, who entered human history. Jesus, who died for us. Jesus, who rose from the dead. Jesus, who ever lives to make intercession for us. Jesus, who is coming again in power and glory. Even when we don’t understand the world around us, we have Jesus. “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV 🙏🏼✝️

Thomas Jacob Duckett 3rd South Carolina Volunteer Infantry is wearing the hat he wore at the Battle of Chickamauga. This hat has two large bullet holes, none of which touched him. Unfortunately, that hat was donated to the institution formerly known as the Museum of the Confederacy, hijacked by carpetbaggers and scalawags in 2013. Photo: Confederate Veteran T.J. Duckett in 1913.

Make no mistake. The name of Robert E Lee will be spoken with reverence, devotion and honor by true Virginians long after you are gone and forgotten...and rest assured there will NEVER be a memorial dedicated in your honor.
