REFUTE AN INNOVATION (1) 🛑 ﷽ We all deeply love the Prophet (ﷺ), and it is natural to want to express this profound love. However, many Muslims today try to express this through celebrating his birthday (Mawlid an-Nabawi)—an action that was never established or practiced by the best generations of Islam. Loving the Prophet ﷺ is an absolute obligation upon every Muslim, but true love is demonstrated through complete obedience and following his authentic Sunnah every single day, not through newly invented seasonal festivals! In Islam, the religion was perfectly completed during the lifetime of the Messenger (ﷺ). Allah declared: “This day I have perfected for you your religion.” (Surah Al-Ma'idah: 3). Introducing new acts of worship (Bid'ah) is strictly warned against. Here is the historical and textual reality regarding the Mawlid: The Prophet (ﷺ) never held an annual celebration for his own birthday, and he explicitly warned us: “مَنْ أَحْدَثَ فِي أَمْرِنَا هَذَا مَا لَيْسَ فِيهِ فَهُوَ رَدٌّ” — “Whoever introduces into this affair of ours that which is not of it, it is to be rejected.” (Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim) The Rightly Guided Caliphs—Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali (رضي الله عنهم)—loved him far more than we ever could, yet none of them instituted a Mawlid. Major classical historians, such as Al-Maqrizi, documented that the first official celebrations of the Mawlid were actually invented centuries later by the Fatimid dynasty, completely disconnected from the early pious predecessors (Salaf). Action Point for Today: Instead of reserving your love for an unlegislated, once-a-year gathering, make it a habit to study his authentic Seerah, revive his forgotten Sunnahs, and send abundant Salawāt upon him. Take time to read concise, reliable works like At-Taḥdhīr minal-Bida‘ by Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azīz bn Bāz to protect your worship from innovation. Refute an innovation, stick to the Sunnah, and share the truth with others! 🖊 Ibn Hussein 🔗 Telegram: https://t.me/abdullprod 🔗 WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb7DEAN3wtb1ZgbMFo1k

Among the greatest principles for preserving relationships and strengthening brotherhood is avoiding hatred and enmity. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْبُغْضَةَ، فَإِنَّهَا هِيَ الْحَالِقَةُ، لَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: تَحْلِقُ الشَّعْرَ، وَلَكِنْ تَحْلِقُ الدِّينَ.» "Beware of hatred, for it is the shaver. I do not mean that it shaves the hair; rather, it shaves away the religion." (Narrated by Abū Hurayrah in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad.) The Prophet ﷺ likened hatred to a razor—not because it removes hair, but because it gradually strips a person of his religion. Hatred gives rise to envy, severing ties, backbiting, oppression, and many other sins that destroy both the individual and the Muslim community. From the Qur'an Allah says: ﴿ وَلَا تَنَازَعُوا فَتَفْشَلُوا وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ ﴾ "Do not dispute with one another, lest you lose courage and your strength departs." (Al-Anfāl: 46) Disputes and hatred weaken the Ummah, while love and unity strengthen it. From the Sunnah The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْفُرْقَةَ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ مَعَ الْوَاحِدِ، وَهُوَ مِنَ الِاثْنَيْنِ أَبْعَدُ، فَمَنْ أَرَادَ بُحْبُوحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ فَلْيَلْزَمِ الْجَمَاعَةَ، مَنْ سَرَّتْهُ حَسَنَتُهُ وَسَاءَتْهُ سَيِّئَتُهُ فَذَلِكَ الْمُؤْمِنُ.» "Beware of division, for Satan is with the individual and is farther away from two. Whoever desires the center of Paradise should adhere to the Jamāʿah. Whoever is pleased by his good deeds and saddened by his sins is the believer." (From Ibn ʿUmar.) He ﷺ also said: «يَدُ اللَّهِ مَعَ الْجَمَاعَةِ.» "The Hand of Allah is with the Jamāʿah." (Narrated by Ibn ʿAbbās; recorded by At-Tirmidhī.) This hadith emphasizes the immense virtue of remaining with the Jamāʿah and avoiding separation, for Allah's aid, protection, and blessing accompany those who remain united upon the truth. "Indeed, Allah is pleased with three things for you and dislikes three things for you. He is pleased that you worship Him alone without associating anything with Him, that you all hold firmly to the Rope of Allah and do not become divided, and He dislikes for you gossip, excessive questioning, and wasting wealth." "Whenever the people stopped at a place during a journey, they would spread out among the mountain passes and valleys. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Your spreading out in these valleys and mountain passes is only from Satan.' Thereafter, whenever they stopped, they remained so close together that it was said: 'If a single cloth were spread over them, it would cover them all.' (Reported by Abū Dāwūd.) There are many other narrations carrying the same meaning. Conclusion A Muslim should not be a person of hatred and resentment. Hatred destroys brotherhood, severs relationships, weakens the Ummah, and gradually erodes one's religion. The believer strives to purify his heart, overlook the faults of his brothers, and preserve the bonds that Allah has established between the believers. Whoever distances himself from righteous relationships and brotherhood exposes himself to spiritual weakness and many avenues through which Shayṭān enters. 🖊 Ibn Hussein https://t.me/abdullprod https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb7DEAN3wtb1ZgbMFo1k

DON’T HASTEN ﷽ Haste is a blameworthy trait that Islam strongly warns us against. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, as narrated by Tirmidhī from the Ḥadīth of Anas, graded Ḥasan (sound) by Al-Albāni رحمه الله.: “Haste is from the Devil.” (العجلة من الشيطان) Islam encourages us to be calm, patient, and thoughtful. The Prophet ﷺ praised these qualities when he said to Ashajj ibn ʿAbd al-Qays رضي الله عنه: “Indeed, you possess two qualities beloved to Allah: forbearance and deliberation.” Be Careful in the Digital Age Today, haste has become even more dangerous because of social media. News, statements, opinions, and religious rulings spread within seconds. Many people are quick to accept or reject something without checking whether it is true. Some rush to judge others, share information, or give an opinion before understanding the matter properly. As Muslims, we should slow down and verify. Do not rush to judge. Do not rush to reject. Do not rush to accept. Make sure you have enough knowledge and reliable evidence before reaching a conclusion. Imam Ibnul-Qayyim رحمه الله beautifully warned about the danger of rejecting something simply because we do not understand it: إِنَّ البِدَارَ بِرَدِّ شَيْءٍ لَمْ تُحِطْ عِلْمًا بِهِ سَبَبٌ إِلَى الحِرْمَانِ “Indeed, hastening to reject something you have not fully understood is a cause of deprivation.” Sometimes, what we do not understand at first may become clear later. A lack of understanding does not automatically mean that something is wrong. And there is a beautiful line of poetry: وَلا تَحكُم بِأَوَّلِ ما تَراهُ فَأَوَّلُ طالِعٍ فَجرٌ كَذوبُ “Do not judge by the very first thing you see, For the first appearance of dawn can be deceptive.” The meaning is simple: do not make a final judgment based only on your first impression. When dawn first begins, a faint light may appear on the horizon, but it can be deceptive. You have to wait until the light becomes clear before knowing what is truly happening. Likewise, when we hear something, see a post, or receive a piece of information, we may not have the complete picture. Wait. Verify. Understand. Then judge. Sometimes, slowing down protects us from making a mistake that we may later regret.

REVIVE A SUNNAH 👍 (2) ﷽ We all know the importance of saying the Taslīm (As-Salāmu ʿAlaykum), shaking hands, and hugging one another when we meet. But there is another beautiful, often neglected Sunnah when receiving guests or starting a conversation: welcoming them with the specific phrase “مَرْحَبًا” (Marḥaban). (📌 Note: This warm prophetic greeting isn't just for in-person meetings; it perfectly applies to how we greet friends and guests in our social media communication and text messages today!) The Prophet (ﷺ) would frequently use this exact word to welcome his family and visitors, expressing cheerfulness, warmth, and hospitality. Here is how he (ﷺ) used it in various situations: ● To his cousin Umm Hānī, he (ﷺ) said: “مَرْحَبًا بِأُمِّ هَانِئٍ” “Welcome, O Umm Hānī.” (Sahih al-Bukhari) ● To the delegation of ʿAbdil-Qays, he (ﷺ) said: “مَرْحَبًا بِالْقَوْمِ” “Welcome to the people.” (Sahih al-Bukhari) ● To his beloved daughter Fāṭimah (رضي الله عنها), he (ﷺ) said: “مَرْحَبًا بِابْنَتِي” “Welcome, my daughter.” (Sahih Muslim) ● To ʿAmmār ibn Yāsir (رضي الله عنه), he (ﷺ) said: “مَرْحَبًا بِالطَّيِّبِ الْمُطَيَّبِ” “Welcome to the pure and purified one.” (Sunan At-Tirmidhī & Al-Adab Al-Mufrad) Action Point for Today: While saying "welcome" in your native language is perfectly fine, try to intentionally type or say “مَرْحَبًا” (Marḥaban) in Arabic to preserve the exact wording of the Prophetic tradition. Smile, make your guests feel honored, and bring this Sunnah into your daily interactions. Revive a Sunnah, practice it, and share it with others! 🖊 Ibn Hussein 🔗 Telegram: https://t.me/abdullprod/747 🔗 WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb7DEAN3wtb1ZgbMFo1k/9223372036854675807

Glad Tidings: Do You Suffer from Headaches? 🧠✨ ﷽ Imām Ibn Rajab Al-Ḥanbalī رحمه الله mentioned in Laṭāʾiful-Maʿārif that headaches and migraines frequently afflicted the Prophet ﷺ, sometimes causing him pain for days. He also mentioned that headaches are among the signs associated with the people of faith and the people of Jannah. Although the specific narration attributed to the Prophet ﷺ—“The people of Hellfire are those whose heads do not ache”—has been graded weak by hadith scholars such as Al-Albānī due to weakness in its chain, there is a supporting narration recorded in al-Adab al-Mufrad of Imām al-Bukhārī and Musnad Aḥmad: Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported that a Bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ, who asked him whether he had ever experienced fever or a throbbing headache. When the man replied that he had experienced neither, the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever would be pleased to look at a man from the people of the Fire, let him look at this man.” And there is another authentic, beautifully comforting principle established in Ṣaḥīḥ Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim: «مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ وَلاَ هَمٍّ وَلاَ حَزَنٍ وَلاَ أَذًى وَلاَ غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ» “No fatigue, disease, sorrow, sadness, hurt, or distress befalls a Muslim—even the prick of a thorn—but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it.” So while good health is undoubtedly among Allah’s greatest blessings, the pain, illness, and weakness that afflict a believer are never meaningless or wasted. If you are hurting, do not let Shayṭān whisper that Allah has abandoned you or does not love you. The most beloved of creation ﷺ himself endured severe illness, intense fever, bodily pain, and recurring headaches. For the believer, affliction is not necessarily humiliation. It may be purification, expiation of sins, a means of raising one’s rank, and a reminder that our true return is to Allah. Allah may bestow a blessing through a trial, severe though it may be, And He may test a people by surrounding them with ease. So if your head aches, your body hurts, or you are enduring a sickness known only to Allah, take comfort: your pain has not gone unnoticed. Bear it with patience, seek the means of treatment, turn to Allah, and hope for the reward that lies beyond the hardship. 🖊 Ibn Hussein https://t.me/abdullprod/743 https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb7DEAN3wtb1ZgbMFo1k/1669

REVIVE A SUNNAH 👍 ﷽ When it comes to Jumu'ah, a lot of people know about taking a bath (Ghusl), wearing nice clothes, and applying perfume. But here is something you should try to practice—an often-forgotten Sunnah of the Companions. On regular days, the Sunnah of the midday nap (Qailulah) and the midday meal are typically observed right before the Dhuhr prayer. However, on Friday, the established practice is to delay both until after the Jumu'ah prayer. عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: مَا كُنَّا نَقِيلُ وَلاَ نَتَغَدَّى إِلاَّ بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ Sahl bin Sa'd (رضي الله عنه) reported: "We would not take a midday nap nor have our lunch until after the Jumu'ah prayer." (Ṣaḥīḥ Al-Bukhāri) Al-Hāfiz Ibn Hajar (رحمه الله) explained in Fathul-Bāri that the Companions would prioritize going to Jumu'ah early over their usual morning rest and food. They dedicated the early hours of Friday to worship, arriving at the mosque early, and pushed their worldly comforts—their meals and rest—to the time after the obligation was completely fulfilled. Action Point for Today: Rather than sleeping in or having a heavy brunch before the Khutbah, try structuring your day as the Ṣaḥābah did. Prioritize getting to the mosque early, and save your meal and rest for after Jumu'ah. Revive a Sunnah, practice it, and share it with others! 🖊 Ibn Hussein https://t.me/abdullprod/741 https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb7DEAN3wtb1ZgbMFo1k/1665

🌱 A Life-Changing Principle If you ever feel: • too strange for being obedient, • too strict for choosing the Sunnah, • too different because you don’t follow trends… Remember the hadith: “Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being strange…” (Muslim) You are not “extreme.” You are a stranger — and that is a badge of honour, not a burden. And if you ever feel your heart rising over others… Remind yourself: Saving yourself does not give you permission to look down on those drowning. You pull them. You pray for them. And you thank Allah for guiding you. Between dropping the Sunnah and becoming arrogant, Shayṭān wants you to slip from either side. But the believer walks a middle path: Firm in truth. Soft in heart. Clear in principles. Gentle in character. Ask Allah to make you among those who remain upright without breaking, and humble without falling. 🖊 Ibn Hussein https://t.me/abdullprod https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb7DEAN3wtb1ZgbMFo1k
