🇷🇺On 22 June 2026, the Russian Cultural Centre ‘Matryoshka’ (Yaoundé), with the support of the Russian Embassy in Cameroon, hosted an event dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Mourning marking the start of the Great Patriotic War, as well as the contribution of Soviet writers to Victory. The event featured materials from thematic art exhibitions organised by the Victory Museum: ‘22 June 1941. Tragedy. Courage. Feat’ and ‘The enemy will be defeated. Victory will be ours’. Participants were also shown excerpts from the films ‘The Brest Fortress’ and ‘Concert for the Front’. 🇨🇲

🇷🇺Le 22 juin 2026, au Centre culturel russe « Matryoshka » (Yaoundé), avec le soutien de l’ambassade de Russie au Cameroun, s’est tenue une soirée consacrée à la Journée du souvenir et du deuil marquant le début de la Grande Guerre patriotique, ainsi qu’à la contribution des écrivains soviétiques à la Victoire. Au cours de cet événement, des éléments issus des expositions artistiques thématiques préparées par le Musée de la Victoire ont été présentés : « 22/06/1941. Tragédie. Courage. Exploit » et « L’ennemi sera vaincu. La victoire sera nôtre ». Des extraits des films « La forteresse de Brest » et « Concert pour le front » ont également été projetés aux participants.🇨🇲

⚡️ Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus have published their third Joint Report on the human rights situation in selected countries. 👉 Read the Report in full From the address to readers by Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Dmitry Lyubinsky and Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Igor Sekreta: The universal nature of human rights means that people of any nationality, race, sex, age and state of health have the right to a dignified life regardless of what they believe in, whom they love, or any other characteristics. The universality of human rights also means that they must be respected across the globe, in every country, without manipulations based on double standards. One cannot pretend that problems do not exist, or hush them up, while at the same time interfering in the internal affairs of sovereign states in an attempt to impose the notorious “rules-based order” – rules that run counter to the norms and principles of international law enshrined in universally recognised international documents. This is precisely the approach we call on our colleagues from the countries covered in this report to follow. *** The third joint report by Foreign Ministries of Russia and Belarus on the human rights situation in selected countries, presented to experts and the public, is a clear example of close intergovernmental cooperation in the field of human rights and demonstrates the proximity of our countries’ positions on this important issue. The document is aimed at drawing attention to the challenges and threats facing today’s international community in the field of human rights. Above all, when describing the list of problems in the promotion and protection of human rights compiled in the report, one cannot fail to note the unchanged essence of these problems – namely, the so-called double standards that still persist and are even worsening in assessments of various human rights situations and phenomena. This approach is regularly used by the “collective West” to fuel confrontation, pressure sovereign states and interfere in their internal affairs, as shown in the relevant country sections of the report. Through their increasingly brazen approaches to interpreting human rights, Western countries completely negate their own rhetoric about the universality of these rights. Another feature of the current situation is the scaling back of social obligations and the militarisation of entire sectors of the economy – all under the pretext of the notorious external threat. Such “narratives”, as they are now commonly called, are widespread in the Baltic states, Poland, Ukraine and Moldova, whose economies are rapidly degrading. Germany, France, Britain and a number of other countries of the “Old and New World” are following the same path. *** ❗️Another matter of grave concern is the resurgence of racism and racial discrimination. We have repeatedly stated at international human rights forums and in thematic reports that racist ideas and “values” are being openly promoted in a number of countries, while national radicals are being glorified. Such approaches are destroying the principles and manifestations of humanism in international politics, erasing established notions of normality and permissibility, and effectively laying the groundwork for a new public morality based on inequality, discrimination and the possibility of eliminating those deemed undesirable. The numerous examples from the present and the past compiled in the report convincingly confirm the importance – indeed, the imperative – of consolidating the efforts of the entire constructively minded international community to successfully counter existing and emerging challenges and mitigate their negative consequences. #HumanRights

⚡️ Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus have published their third Joint Report on the human rights situation in selected countries. 👉 Read the Report in full The document follows up on the annual reports by MFAs of Russia and Belarus on the human rights situation around the world and is designed to support our joint efforts to draw the attention of the international community to the challenges and threats facing modern society in the field of human rights protection. 👉 First Joint Report 👉 Second Joint Report The report will be presented on June 30, July 7 and July 9 during conferences at the #CIS Executive Committee in Minsk, at the #OSCE headquarters in Vienna, and on the sidelines of the 62nd Session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. The information collected in the report clearly exposes a very serious problem of our time – the spread of ideologies that seek to justify inequality. In practice, this manifests itself in the growing prevalence of racism, racial discrimination and related intolerance. The danger lies in the fact that these ideologies and practices are used to serve the ambitions of Western countries and eliminate “threats” to their dominance, which they have preserved by fair means or foul for the past 500 years, enabling them to extract disproportionate benefits at the expense of other societies and to the detriment of all humanity. At first, this dominance was maintained directly – through the exploitation of colonies, the siphoning off of resources, the organisation of slavery, and so on. Today, neocolonial methods are widely used. ⚠️ And the West sees the “threat” in the alternative offered by Russia, Belarus and other countries pursuing independent domestic and foreign policies. The West has designated them as its competitors and even adversaries. In this way, it justifies its aggressive policy, stopping at nothing and using any measures – often illegal ones – against those it finds undesirable. *** Confrontation is being deliberately fuelled, and pressure on sovereign states is mounting. Direct interference in their internal affairs, including through the use of force, is also being employed. Across the globe, the West is creating zones of conflict and seeking to impose its own rules, following the old colonial maxim of “divide and conquer”. This is happening at a time when the European – and, more broadly, Western – model of social development, along with the Euro-Atlantic security model, has discredited itself. Through its actions, the West is making it increasingly clear that it is unable to defend its own development models in fair competition, and is therefore sinking ever deeper into the unseemly politicisation of all areas of interaction, while only creating more and more problems for those it has declared to be its “competitors”. Since 2022, the West has been actively using the illegitimate neo-Nazi regime in Kiev as a geopolitical and military foothold against Russia. More recently, it has begun floating the idea of using the Kiev junta against the Republic of Belarus as well. Only truly equal cooperation among all states gives humanity a chance to completely eradicate colonialism and its modern forms. And only such interaction will prevent individual countries from bending the system of international law to their will and using its universal human rights mechanisms for selfish purposes. Unlike similar Western studies, the report prepared jointly by the Foreign Ministries of Russia and Belarus is not intended to lecture or moralise. ☝️ This Joint Report summarises factual information on human rights violations in the countries mentioned. 👉 The right to pass moral judgment on them remains with the readers.

Документ нацелен на привлечение внимания к вызовам и угрозам, с которыми сталкивается современное международное сообщество в сфере прав человека. Прежде всего, при описании собранного в докладе перечня проблем в сфере поощрения и защиты прав человека обращает на себя внимание неизменная суть этих самых проблем, а именно – до сих пор существующие и даже усугубляющиеся так называемые двойные стандарты при оценке тех или иных правозащитных ситуаций и явлений. Подобный подход регулярно используется странами «коллективного Запада» в целях нагнетания конфронтации и оказания давления на суверенные государства и вмешательства в их внутренние дела, что и показано в соответствующих страновых разделах доклада. Своими всё более бесцеремонными подходами в вопросах трактовки прав человека западные страны полностью перечёркивают свои же рассуждения об универсальности этих прав. <...> В числе ещё одной особенности современного состояния в данной сфере следует назвать отход от выполнения социальных обязательств и переход к милитаризации всех областей экономики – и всё это со ссылками на пресловутую внешнюю угрозу. <...> . Подобные, как сейчас принято говорить, «нарративы» широко распространены в государствах Прибалтики, Польше, на Украине и в Молдавии, экономики которых стремительно деградируют. По этому же пути идут Германия, Франция, Великобритания и ряд других стран «Старого и Нового Света» <...> . ❗️Ещё одной проблемой, вызывающей самую серьёзную обеспокоенность, являются поднимающие голову расизм и расовая дискриминация. 📄 Министерством иностранных дел Российской Федерации и Министерством иностранных дел Республики Беларусь подготовлен третий совместный доклад о ситуации с правами человека в отдельных странах. Читать доклад полностью Документ составлен как продолжение ежегодных докладов внешнеполитических ведомств двух стран по правозащитной ситуации в странах мира и направлен на подкрепление наших совместных усилий по привлечению внимания международного сообщества к вызовам и угрозам, с которыми сталкивается современное общество в сфере защиты прав человека. 👉 Первый совместный доклад 👉 Второй совместный доклад Презентация доклада запланирована на 30 июня, 7 и 9 июля в ходе конференций на площадке Исполкома СНГ в Минске, в штаб-квартире ОБСЕ в Вене и «на полях» 62-й сессии Совета ООН по правам человека в Женеве. Собранные в докладе сведения однозначно выявляют весьма серьёзную проблему современности – распространение идеологий, обосновывающих неравенство. В реальности это воплощается в виде усиливающихся проявлений расизма, расовой дискриминации и связанной с ними нетерпимости. Опасность заключается в том, что эти идеология и практика используются ради удовлетворения амбиций стран Запада и устранения «угроз» их доминированию, которое они всеми правдами и неправдами сохраняли на протяжении последних 500 лет, что позволяло им извлекать несоразмерную выгоду за счёт других обществ и в ущерб интересам всего человечества. Сначала это господство обеспечивалось прямым способом, путём эксплуатации колоний, выкачивания ресурсов, организации рабовладения и т.п. Сейчас широко применяются неоколониальные методы. А «угрозу» они видят в альтернативе, которую предлагают Россия, Белоруссия и другие страны, проводящие самостоятельную внутреннюю и внешнюю политику. Их Запад назначил своими конкурентами и даже противниками. Таким способом он оправдывает свою агрессивную политику, не останавливаясь перед применением в отношении неугодных любых, зачастую незаконных мер. <...> Нагнетается конфронтация, усиливается давление на суверенные государства. В ход идёт и прямое силовое вмешательство в их внутренние дела. <...> Во всех частях света Запад формирует пространства для конфликта и пытается устанавливать свои порядки, начиная с реализации старой колониальной заповеди «разделяй и властвуй». Происходит это в ситуации, когда европейская (и в более широком смысле – западная) модель развития общества, а вместе с ней и евроатлантическая модель безопасности дискредитировали себя. Своими действиями Запад всё более ясно показывает, что не может отстаивать свои же модели развития в честной конкурентной борьбе, а потому всё глубже вязнет в неблаговидной политизации всех областей взаимодействия и лишь способен создавать всё больше проблем для тех, кого он объявил «конкурентами». <...> С 2022 года Запад активно использует нелегитимный неонацистский режим в Киеве в качестве своего геополитического и военного плацдарма против России. В последнее время он начал озвучивать идею задействования киевской хунты и против Республики Беларусь. <...> Только подлинно равноправное сотрудничество всех государств даёт человечеству шанс на полное искоренение колониализма и его современных форм. И только такое взаимодействие не позволит отдельным странам «подмять» под себя систему международного права и использовать его универсальные правозащитные механизмы в корыстных целях. Исследование, подготовленное совместными усилиями внешнеполитических ведомств России и Белоруссии, в отличие от аналогичных западных изысканий, не носит цели нравоучения или морализаторства. ❗️ Этот совместный доклад обобщает фактологическую информацию о нарушениях прав человека в упомянутом ряде стран. 🇷🇺The Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Cameroon organised an official reception to mark Russia Day. H.E. Felix MBAYU, Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations, H.E. Joseph BETI ASSOMO, Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, H.E. Jean DE DIEU MOMO, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Justice, a number of other senior officials from Cameroonian ministries, members of Parliament, representatives of the diplomatic corps, business community and civil society, graduates of Soviet and Russian universities, and Russian compatriots attended the event. The reception featured videos on Russian history, science and culture, as well as photo exhibitions “85 years of Soviet Information Bureau. History in motion” and “History of bilateral relations between Russia and Cameroon”.🇨🇲

🇷🇺L'Ambassade de la Fédération de Russie en République du Cameroun a organisé une réception officielle à l'occasion de la Journée de la Russie qui a vu la participation de S.E.M. Felix MBAYU, Ministre Délégué auprès du Ministre des Relations Extérieures, S.E.M. Joseph BETI ASSOMO, Ministre Délégué à la Présidence chargé de la Défense, S.E.M. Jean DE DIEU MOMO, Ministre Délégué auprès du Ministre de la Justice, plusieurs autres hauts responsables des ministères camerounaises, des membres du Parlement, des représentants du corps diplomatique, des milieux d'affaires et de la société civile, des diplômés des universités soviétiques et russes, ainsi que des compatriotes russes. Au cours de la réception, les invités ont pu découvrir des vidéos sur l'histoire, la science et la culture russes, ainsi que des expositions de photos « Les 85 ans du Bureau d'information soviétique. В ходе приема гостям были представлены видеоматериалы о российских истории, науке и культуре, а также фотовыставки «85 лет Совинформбюро. Ожившая история. 🇷🇺2 июня 2026 года в Институте международных отношений Камеруна (IRIC) состоялся открытый урок, посвященный Дню русского языка, организованный Ассоциацией преподавателей русского языка и литературы в Камеруне при активной поддержке Посольства России в Камеруне. 🔹В ходе мероприятия студенты познакомились с биографией основоположника современного русского языка А.С.Пушкина, историей России и ее ролью в международных отношениях. 🇨🇲Le 2 juin 2026, l’Institut des relations internationales du Cameroun (IRIC) a accueilli une conférence consacrée à la Journée de la langue russe. Cet événement a été organisé par le Conseil de coordination des organisations de compatriotes russes résidant au Cameroun avec le soutien de l’Ambassade de Russie. 🔹Des étudiants ont découvert la biographie de Alexander Poushkine, fondateur la langue russe moderne, l'histoire de la Russie et son rôle dans les relations internationelles.

🇷🇺28 мая 2026 года в Институте международных отношений Камеруна (IRIC) состоялся открытый урок, посвященный Дню славянской письменности и культуры, организованный Ассоциацией преподавателей русского языка и литературы в Камеруне при активной поддержке Посольства России в Камеруне. 🔹В ходе мероприятия студенты познакомились с историей славянских народов, а также просветительской деятельностью святых Кирилла и Мефодия. 🇨🇲Le 28 mai 2026, l’Institut des relations internationales du Cameroun (IRIC) a accueilli une conférence consacrée à la Journée de l’écriture et de la culture slaves. Cet événement a été organisé par le Conseil de coordination des organisations de compatriotes russes résidant au Cameroun avec le soutien de l’Ambassade de Russie. 🔹Des étudiants ont découvert l'histoire des peuples slaves ainsi que l'œuvre d'évangélisation des saints Cyrille et Méthode.

🇷🇺 Commissaire aux droits de l'homme de la Fédération de Russie, Iana Lantratova : 💬 Aujourd'hui, nous célébrons la Journée internationale de l'enfance, une fête qui nous rappelle le droit de chaque enfant à une enfance heureuse, à son développement et à la sécurité. Cette Journée a plus de 100 ans et plus de 60 pays ont adhéré à cette initiative. Mais certains, au contraire, ont commencé à renier et à changer cette date, modifiant ainsi son histoire et sa signification. L'an dernier, Zelensky a reporté cette fête pour se conformer aux standards occidentaux. Et cette année, à la veille de cette date, une terrible tragédie s'est produite à Starobelsk, bafouant le droit fondamental : le droit à la vie. Les forces armées ukrainiennes ont délibérément frappé les enfants qui dormaient dans leurs lits. 86 personnes ont été blessées et 21 enfants ont été tués. Il s'agissait pour la plupart de filles : Anna, Taïssia, Alina, Elena, Sofia, Daria, Alexandra, Tatiana, Oksana, Iana, Veronika, Anastasia, Viktoria, Irina, Alissa et bien d'autres. Malheureusement, la position de la communauté internationale sur cette question reste ambiguë. Nombreux sont ceux qui préfèrent garder le silence ou faire comme si de rien n'était, ignorant les faits manifestes de ce crime. ❗️ Notre objectif est de préserver la vérité et obtenir justice. L'impunité pour de tels crimes de guerre est inacceptable. Savez-vous pourquoi il est important de célébrer la Journée de l'enfant ? Parce que l'humanité doit se souvenir que la défense des droits des enfants est notre priorité commune et notre devoir sacré.
