🇦🇺😢 A Queensland man has been assaulted by a gang of African migrants after being lured to a spot on the pretext of meeting a woman. 27 year old Aussie Oliver Conroy thought he was meeting a woman for a date. Instead, he was lured to Kelvin Grove in Brisbane by a fake dating app profile, ambushed by a pack of migrant teenagers, violently attacked and had his car stolen. Neighbours found him seriously injured in the middle of the street on the night of 24 July. He fought for nearly two weeks in hospital before dying on 6 August. Police allege the group created a bogus profile specifically to set him up so they could take his blue BYD Shark 6. Seven teenagers - five boys aged 15 to 17 and two girls aged 14 and 15 - have now been charged with murder. They’re the first girls charged under Queensland’s “adult crime, adult time” laws and remain in custody facing possible life sentences. Not even going on a date is safe in this country. That group is known as the Socialist Alternative, an Australian organisation that describes itself as “a revolutionary socialist organisation” with a mission to “ultimately fight to overthrow the capitalist system and create a world run democratically by workers—one that prioritises human need, not profit.” It has branches and student clubs in most major Australian cities and publishes the fortnightly newspaper Red Flag.
