Umar al-Hashmi examining the Islamic belief concerning the ascension of Prophet ʿĪsā (ʿalayhi al-salām). The seminar will explore the Qurʾānic evidences, Prophetic narrations, and the positions of classical Sunni scholars regarding the raising of ʿĪsā (ʿalayhi al-salām) to the heavens, his continued life, and his future return before the Day of Judgement.
