پاکستان گزشتہ سات دہائیوں سے بلوچ عوام پر حکمرانی کر رہا ہے۔ ریاست نے بلوچ عوام کو مسلسل جبر کے سائے تلے رکھ کر بلوچستان پر اپنی حکمرانی قائم رکھنے کی کوشش کی ہے، مگر حکمرانی کا یہ پرتشدد ماڈل اب ناکام ہو چکا ہے، اور اس ناکامی کی قیمت ایک بار پھر عام بلوچ آبادی سے وصول کی جا رہی ہے۔ بلوچ نسل کشی محض بلوچستان کا داخلی مسئلہ نہیں بلکہ ایک عالمی انسانی المیہ ہے۔ جب تک اس نسل کشی اور اس کے بنیادی اسباب کا ازالہ نہیں کیا جاتا، امن کی ہر بات محض لفاظی اور حقیقت سے فرار ہے۔ گزشتہ چند ماہ سے سیکیورٹی کے نام پر بلوچستان کے مختلف علاقوں میں کرفیو، فوجی آپریشن، جبری گمشدگیاں اور قتلِ عام معمول بنتے جا رہے ہیں۔ ان واقعات کی بڑی تعداد ریاستی میڈیا کے بیانیے میں جگہ نہیں پاتی، مگر بلوچ عوام ہر روز ان حالات کو اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھ رہے ہیں اور اپنی زندگیوں میں بھگت رہے ہیں۔ ہم ایسی ہر ریاستی پالیسی کو مسترد کرتے ہیں جس میں بلوچ بچوں، عورتوں اور عام شہریوں کی جانوں کو خطرے میں ڈال کر ان کی ہلاکتوں کو محض collateral damage کہہ کر نظر انداز کر دیا جائے۔ سوراب میں گزشتہ رات پاکستانی جنگی طیاروں کی بمباری کے نتیجے میں 27 افراد قتل اور زخمی ہوئے، جن میں بچے بھی شامل ہیں۔ اگر ایک ریاست عام شہریوں کے گھروں اور آبادیوں پر بمباری کے نتیجے میں بچوں سمیت درجنوں شہریوں کے قتلِ عام کو معمول کی کارروائی سمجھتی ہے، تو یہ ایک فوجی آپریشن نہیں بلکہ نسل کشی ہے۔ سوراب کے عوام کی جانب سے اس وحشیانہ اور جابرانہ حملے کے خلاف سڑک بند کرکے احتجاج کرنا اس بات کا اظہار ہے کہ لوگ اپنی جان و مال کے تحفظ اور اس قتلِ عام کے خلاف خاموش نہیں رہیں گے۔ میں بلوچستان کے عوام سے اپیل کرتی ہوں کہ وہ سوراب واقعے کے خلاف اپنے گھروں سے نکلیں اور اپنے قتل پر ماتم کرنے کے بجائے مزاحمت کریں۔ مزاحمت میں ہی ہماری بقا ہے۔ ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ 13 اگست 2026 ہدہ جیل کوئٹہ

State aircraft carried out aerial bombardment in Surab, killing Baloch civilians, including children, women, and elderly people. While Pakistani media continues to portray those killed as “terrorists,” the people of Tump have rejected this narrative. Through the shutter-down strike, they sent a clear message: the victims of the Surab bombing were civilians, not terrorists. Tump has spoken for Surab. For decades, the people of Balochistan have faced systematic repression by the Pakistani state and military. Enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, raids, collective punishment, intimidation, and attacks on civilians have become part of everyday life for Baloch families. The Surab bombardment is another devastating chapter in this continuing repression. The Pakistani state is dismantling Baloch society through multiple forms of violence and repression while using a censored and tightly controlled media system to justify, conceal, or normalize the killing of Baloch civilians. When people disappear, when homes are raided, when civilians are killed, and when entire communities are terrorized, the same machinery works to silence their voices and shape a narrative that excuses state violence. This is how repression is sustained, not only through force, but also through censorship, propaganda, and the denial of truth.
