🇬🇧 Whilst the UK is experiencing extreme drought following successive heatwaves, alerts have been issued which ban open fires, bbq’s and fireworks This video shows a group of Aghani migrants getting approached in a suburban park by both UK's authorities: fire service & police. Such calls cost those service on average around 1000 pounds and effectively waste human resources. The Afghanis then start getting annoyed about being filmed after arguing with the emergency services about their BBQ flame.
🇺🇸🇰🇷 Trump orders military to "substantially reduce" joint exercises with South Korea. Don't forget that South Korea and North Korea are still technically at war. America's ability to help defend her ally against the North Koreans is strong because US forces are well trained and able to coordinate with the South Koreans. Hollowing out these joint exercises reduces the coordination and potentially reduces America's ability to help South Korea.
🇺🇸 The White House tiktok page is now posting ads for Zyn 🤦♂️ what fucking timeline is this
🇺🇸🇩🇪 This footage shows the battle of Château-Thierry (late may - early june 1918) and the battle for St-Mihiel (12-16 September 1918), one of the first battles where the American Expeditionary Forces were led by General John J Pershing. These battle was prompted by a German spring offensive under Erich Ludendorf which was a failure due to a successful counter-attack by the allies which lead to the 'relentless Allied advance'. FYI: The AEF, American Expeditionary Force, consisted of troops from both the United States Army and Marine Corps units. The film contains both infantry action as quite a bit of artillery. (No sound is available)
🇺🇸 🇮🇷 Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: They are discussing using nuclear weapons on Iran in strategy meetings. Yes you read that correctly. It’s real. I’m not speculating, I know.
🇮🇹 Franco-German defense giant KNDS' factory near Rome has exploded. The plant makes medium- and large-calibre ammunition for land and naval defence systems, as well as solid propellants for aerospace launch vehicles, according to its website. Luckily however, there are no casualties as the plant was closed for a holiday. Further investigations are currently ongoing.
🇹🇷 A Turkish F-16 attempted too low of a fly-by maneuver during a training exercise and hit the top of a group of trees, immediately shattering into pieces. The pilot somehow ejected & survived

🇺🇸 In March 1862 Union soldiers occupied the Virginia town of Winchester which had been abandoned by Confederates the day prior. Inside the Medical College, the Union soldiers found some interesting displays. One was the remains of a black teen who had been very enthusiastic to hear about Union soldiers advancing on the town and had been executed by a soldier. It was claimed that the body had been given to students for anatomical research. However the head, arms and legs being removed and the belly cut open made it more likely to have been staged to send a message to Union men. The other was the body of Watson Brown, one of John Brown's many sons who had followed his father on his famous raid and died in the battle. His body was taken to the Winchester Medical College and turned into an exhibit. The body was skinned, dissected and turned into an anatomical model bearing a label "John Brown's son—thus always with Abolitionists". The skin would also be turned into souvenirs for the students such as moccasins and pouches. Johnson after taking possession of the body would write One of the professors of the said college also called upon me in person, and demanded that I return the specimen. He then gave me all the details of the manner in which the body had been prepared, and said that he did it himself. He told me that after young Brown was killed at Harper's Ferry, that he had the body sent to Winchester, and that upon consultation with the other professors of the college, it was decided to prepare the body of young Brown that it might be preserved in the museum of the college as a specimen, and as an object of interest and note. The professor strongly appealed to me in the name of my profession, and in the interest of the same, and as a friend of science to return to him the said body. ...He cited the fact that the sons of John Brown had been killed while engaged with their father in the attempt to overthrow Virginia's cherished institution of slavery, and hence Virginia was entitled to the body as an object of warning and curiosity. In answer to the demand and appeals of the professor I said that the memory of John Brown and his sons, and their heroic battle at Harper's Ferry for the freedom of the slave, were held in too high esteem for me to leave the body upon the slave soil of Virginia. When Union forces were forced to abandon Winchester they made a point of burning the Medical College. Jarvis Johnson would send Watson Browns body back to his home in Indiana, and 20 years later would contact John Browns widow and return the body to his family where it would be buried next to his father.
🇺🇸 President Donald Trump is pushing the U.S. Navy to redesign aspects of the new Ford-class aircraft carriers to better match his preferred aesthetics and traditional ideas about how American warships should look. Trump reportedly wants the carrier’s Island to be moved farther forward, giving future ships a more traditional appearance. He has also criticized the Ford class’s electromagnetic catapult system (EMALS) and wants the Navy to consider returning to older steam-powered catapults. The proposed changes are significant because they could require major redesign work and add billions of dollars to an already extremely expensive program. Critics argue that the changes are being driven largely by Trump’s personal preferences rather than the engineering decisions originally made by Navy designers. In short, Trump wants future carriers to combine modern nuclear-powered capabilities with the appearance and technology of America’s older aircraft carriers. #America #Navy

Ukrainian/ Russian RPG-7 with a HEAT round has got some new modifications: The top features 5.45×39mm tracer cartridges, while the lower layer consists of larger 7.62×54mmR Armor-Piercing Incendiary (API) rounds. On the side there is either a plank of wood to stabilize the launch or more demolition to maximize the fragmentation (which they were intending to make) the tip of the warhead also has several iron spikes poking outside, lively to be just sharp and pointy iron for the same purpose we mentioned. It is likely that pressure from the launch will throw away half of the stuff away mid-air. There is also a risk of ignition of the small rounds attached to it while being launched; which could potentially injure the trooper using this makeshift fragmentation RPG round.
🇺🇦🇷🇺 A Ukrainian soldier uses his rifle (equipped with a magnifier, a red-dot sight, and a PEQ-15A or similar device mounted reasonably well-equipped) to engage a Russian soldier crossing a street. After a couple accurate shots, the Ukrainian soldier uses an M320(A1) 40mm grenade launcher to fire into the wall/fence where the Russian soldier was last seen. The Russian soldier was later confirmed KIA, with a bare AK variant rifle nearby.
