I don’t think this is that big of an issue. Because when a constitutional body like UPSC has 2–3 stupid mistakes in CSE pre paper, then what more can we expect from bodies like NTA.
Key Features of the MMDR Amendment, 2026 Union Control: Brings mineral-bearing lands explicitly under Union regulation. Cap on State Levies: States can impose taxes or levies on mineral rights/lands only as permitted by the Central Government. Past Dues Invalidated: Unpaid past levies become invalid; amounts already paid will not be refunded. Central Rule-Making: Empowers the Centre to set rules and conditions for future State levies. Rest remains same. For more, follow us: @newdeliciousUPSC Backup Channel: @backupdeliciousUPSC
BCI is the apex statutory regulator under the Advocates Act, 1961. It regulates legal education, professional conduct, and enrolment rules. Composition: Attorney-General of India + Solicitor-General of India (ex officio) + one elected member from each State Bar Council. It recognises universities/law degrees for enrolment purposes. State Bar Councils actually enrol advocates and maintain the State Rolls. BCI supervises State Bar Councils and can make rules affecting enrolment. If a State Bar Council wants to reject someone’s enrolment application, it must first refer the matter to the BCI and follow BCI’s opinion. But BCI does not itself normally enrol or reject candidates, and its supervisory power does not automatically allow an arbitrary blanket ban on an entire batch. @newdeliciousUPSC @backupdeliciousUPSC
🇮🇳 This Independence Day, a thought worth reflecting on .... how fortunate were we to have leaders who placed the nation above themselves when India needed them most ❤️ In the 18th Lok Sabha elected in 2024, 251 of 543 MPs (46%) , declared criminal cases against themselves. 170 (31%) declared serious criminal cases. 15 declared cases related to crimes against women, including 2 with rape-related cases. Now imagine if this had been the character of our Parliament at the moment India became free. Whatever our politics today, we should never take the contribution of our founding fathers for granted. We inherited more than freedom. 🇮🇳 Happy Independence Day. (Video Credits : @holydrip.club) @newdeliciousUPSC @backupdeliciousUPSC
Rahul Bansal, 2022-batch IPS officer, who secured AIR 377 (EWS) in UPSC CSE 2021. During his first field posting in Surguja district, Chhattisgarh, Rahul Bansal has found himself at the centre of alleged ₹1 crore corruption case. 📌 Interview Marks: 138 marks 📌 GS Paper IV (Ethics): 99 marks At this point, we should probably be thankful to the UPSC board members that bro’s journey stopped at the IPS. Had he landed in IAS, God knows what the scenario would have looked like. 💀 @newdeliciousUPSC @backupdeliciousUPSC

Saudi Arabia–Pakistan–Türkiye: Mecca Joint Defence Agreement (NATO FROM MEESHO🌚) GS-II: International Relations All three signed the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement (MJDA) on 7 August 2026 in Mecca. Core provision: An armed attack on one will be treated as attack on all three, establishing collective defence, just like NATO’s Article 5. Background: Saudi Arabia and Pakistan already signed a Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement (SMDA) in September 2025 with a similar collective-defence clause. Türkiye factor: Türkiye is NATO member with significant defence capabilities, especially drones and conventional military technology. [NATO: April 4,1949, Washington Treaty, 12 founders, now 32 countries; Latest Members - Finland 2023, Sweden 2024] Why Pakistan is dancing 🐒💃: Pakistan is only nuclear-armed member of new grouping. India role: Apart from कड़ी निंदा, and laser eyes 🪫👀, we must assess its implications for Pakistan’s strategic capabilities, Gulf ties and regional balance of power. @newdeliciousUPSC

“What if I join late?” “What if I never reach the highest ranks in bureaucracy?” “What if my career becomes shorter than others?” Some aspirants in their late 20s or early 30s, who have decided to start UPSC preparation now while doing job or some who are in their 4th or later attempts, have asked me these questions at one time or other. And I am sharing this as many of you also be struggling with the same thoughts. A major reason is this growing comparison syndrome, which is badly affecting aspirants. Unfortunately, it is often reinforced by motivational gurus who keep saying things like: “Join the service at 24 or 25,” “Naukri to bs IAS h ,” or “If you enter late, your career will not be meaningful because you will not reach the highest posts.” etc, all the marketing gimmicks used to convince students that they must start UPSC coaching from Class 11 itself, otherwise somehow they are already “late”. For this, let me share two very good real-life examples —- Tukaram Mundhe Sir and Rinku Singh Rahi Sir. One entered the service at around 30, while the other entered the IAS at around 40–41. One had fairly average CSE interview marks, while the other scored only around 105 marks. They will never become Chief Secretary or Cabinet Secretary. Tukaram Mundhe Sir became known for strict, rule-based administration, action against irregularities and his willingness to take difficult administrative decisions despite facing frequent transfers 25 transfers in 21 years career. Rinku Singh Rahi Sir, while working as a state civil servant, exposed corruption in welfare schemes and even survived a brutal attack in which he was shot multiple times. Years later, he cleared UPSC and entered the IAS at an age when many people would have already told themselves that it was “too late.” Both are working in their home states/cadres, where they could perhaps have chosen much easier and more comfortable paths, by participating in inclusive corruption yojana, yet they repeatedly chose difficult assignments and uncomfortable battles. That itself tells you something. You do not need many years of service or an early entry into the bureaucracy to make a difference. Even if you enter the services relatively late, you can still get significant field responsibilities, influence administration, improve institutions and positively affect thousands of lives. “The worth of a civil servant lies not in the chair he ultimately occupies, but in what he accomplishes while occupying each chair.” So stop torturing yourself with these questions. If you are 27, 28, 30, 32 or starting later than others, focus on your studies instead of calculating where somebody else will be in the hierarchy 25 years from now. The moment you stop constantly comparing your age, attempts, rank and timeline with others, you will be able to use much more of your own potential. (And yes , you also got two excellent personalities + one ready-made quotes for GS4 and Essay from this post. 🙂) @newdeliciousUPSC @backupdeliciousUPSC
“What If I Join services Late?” - - Stop Letting Comparison Syndrome Kill Your Preparation This is a very important question that often stays in the subconscious mind of aspirants, but many are afraid to ask it openly:
It takes guts to speak about your competitor 💯

📌 Important Update on Vision IAS Current Affairs A few students asked whether they should shift from Vision IAS CA to Bharti IAS CA after some members of Vision’s Current Affairs team moved there and claims were made about the “architect of PT365” joining them. My unbiased suggestion what to do when already 10 months left and you have been consistently following Vision IAS CA Monthly or 365 First of all, Vision IAS is not dependent on 1–2 individuals. During the recent controversy involving its director, many aspirants actually saw him for the first time, that itself shows Vision IAS has never revolved around a single person. Similarly, its CA quality comes from a system, culture, editorial process and huge repository built organically over years and all of it is available FREE. Many of us or other veteran friends who are/were part of CSE coaching industry, faculty/team movements happen every year across institutes. A few people leaving does not mean the entire coaching ecosystem or quality disappears with them, especially it is big like Vision or Drishti or Next IAS etc. Another point: whenever faculty changes happen, some institutes especially 2022-23 like Bharti IAS or Misunderstand UPSC advertise that they have brought “XYZ Ethics teacher” or the “person behind XYZ programme”. Big coaching does not make cheap video for such advertisement around such individual faculty announcements. If you notice, even their advertisements for Foundation Courses or Test Series are usually quite generic, because aspirants already know the brand and come to them on their own. Those interview appeared veterans who are familiar with the coaching ecosystem also know that Vision IAS, Vajiram and ForumIAS are among the most sought-after destinations for CSE backup plan for teaching or content creation. If you have already been following Vision IAS CA consistently, do NOT change your CA magazine/source at this critical stage. With around 10 months left for Prelims, your priority should be Stick to your trusted source and focus on execution. 🎯 Do share this post with friends who are still confused about switching their CA source. @newdeliciousUPSC @backupdeliciousUPSC

The last 2–3 days have been some of the best days of this year. I met so many aspirants, and even students who are not in this CSE journey and believe me, they are too happy and finding happiness in their current work. These conversations made me realise something: we are perhaps the most serious and unserious generation at the same time. Delhi, too, felt exactly like the city described in the current NCERTs (not the new ones)we study for CSE. And the most important lesson I carried back is this: Patriotism means loving your country...not blindly loving the government that rules it. Governments change. The nation remains. 🇮🇳 @newdeliciousUPSC
