FRAGMENTED WHISPERS We meet in fleeting echoes, Shadows softly spun, A dance across the ages, Begun yet never done. Each lifetime lays a puzzle, Scattered as the sands, Pieces of your essence Slipping through my hands. I’ve glimpsed you in the sunrise, I've felt you in the rain - A spark within the starlight, The mist of love’s refrain, Yet still, you are a symphony I cannot fully hear, A phantom touch that lingers, Always far, yet near. I wander through a cosmos Filled with planets strong and wild, To catch your love in fragments - Find each star you hold inside, So when we meet, I'll recognise Each twinkle in your eyes And feel sparks of explosion As our galaxies collide. Should the search be endless, With stars that blur and fade, I'll treasure every fragment - Each step that love has made, For though these time-spent stories Mean some waves won't reach the shore, I know that every life is made With chance to love you more.
