Dear Students, We have received concerns regarding the recent changes to the campus security perimeter, including the removal of gates near Block B1, the relocation of car barriers, and the removal of several turnstiles. As we understand now, this is part of a broader administrative plan that may include other changes in the security perimeter in the future. We have raised our concerns with the administration and will continue to seek clear answers on why these changes are being made, how student safety will be protected, what future actions are planned, and how student concerns will be addressed. 😶 Therefore, we ask all students to complete the survey we shared earlier. During the work, from 09:00 to 18:00, excessive amount of dust might enter residential rooms through open windows. Better safe than sorry: Eviction till the end of studies for overnight stays ⚠️ We’ve recently been receiving a lot of messages from students who are unaware of how strict certain dormitory rules actually are — especially regarding overnight stays in rooms. According to the official Policy and Procedures for Room Allocation and Accommodation, providing your dorm room to third parties (including other students or resident assistants), as well as allowing overnight stays for individuals not officially assigned to your room, is considered a serious violation! Sanctions for this go as far as eviction from the dormitory until the end of your studies (not semester) ⛔️ We understand that this may come as a surprise to many, but it’s important to note that these rules are strictly enforced, and exceptions or leniency are not typically applied. Dear Students, There are some details about the Republican referendum on the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will take place on March 15, 2026: 1. Nazarbayev University students who have temporary registration in the dormitories can vote at polling station № 199 at the territory of the autonomous educational organization "Nazarbayev Intellectual School" located at Hussein bin Talal Street, 21. For your convenience, a gate from the University campus to NIS will be opened.  2. Students living off-campus and having permanent registration in Astana can vote at their place of residence. You can find out the address of your polling place at the official website referendum.gov.kz Date and Time: March 15, 2026, from 07:00 to 20:00. Students are encouraged to come before 15:00.   3.
