📢 Recycling is NOT enough. It’s time for real solutions. ♻️ You have been doing a great job, our waste generation per capita has fallen since 2015! But to build a truly sustainable Singapore, we need to move upstream. Valerie Lee, Lee Hui Ying and Poh Li San proposed practical hard-hitting solutions to strengthen our resource circularity: 👉 Tracking actual waste reduction and contamination rates, instead of just short-term campaign participation. 👉 Pushing for policies to restrict aggressive single-use packaging and get businesses to accept reusable containers. 👉 Calling for adjusted waste collection fees to get commercial businesses to recycle their food waste, which currently sits at a low 18% recycling rate. Singaporeans are already doing their part to reduce waste. Now, it’s time for systemic policies and businesses to step up. Check out what they said here! 👇 https://pap.sg.tinyc.co/the3Rs

🟢 Moving from Uncertainty to Systemic Assurance When speaking to residents, the feedback is clear: Singaporeans are asking for certainty. Gabriel Lam is pushing for two major structural shifts: 📈 Sharper Outcome Accountability: Ensuring that taking courses directly translates into higher wages and better prospects. 👨👩👧👦 Consolidated Family Assurance: Streamlining support across housing, healthcare and childcare, so that it feels systemic, not just conditional. 🎬 Check out how he wants to build a system that converts uncertainty into strength: https://pap.sg.tinyc.co/Certainty4U
In an increasingly fractured world where people everywhere are worried about jobs and the cost-of-living, how does Singapore stay resilient? Speaking at the World Cities Summit, PM Lawrence Wong highlighted the core strategy that keeps us steady: Pragmatism over ideology. Whether that means preserving valuable land for green corridors or ensuring public housing remains accessible and inclusive where communities are built, the mission has always been about delivering the best outcomes for you. Yesterday's solutions won't solve tomorrow's challenges. We are adapting boldly to keep Singapore a hopeful place for the next generation. 🎬 Watch the highlight reel here: https://pap.sg.tinyc.co/LocalFocus
