On this day in 2016, our beloved Guru, His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, returned to Akshardham. Yet, as this year’s heartfelt kirtan expresses, his loving gaze still fills us with grace, his touch continues to kindle the lamp within, and his gentle smile and affection remain forever alive in our hearts. “Āje umang e ja Shrījīne pāmīne, jīvan krutārath kahāvu…” Through Pramukh Swami Maharaj, we experienced the love of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, and through his life, virtues and memories, we continue to experience that same divine joy today. On this 13 August, with hearts filled with umang, we offer a Timeless Tribute to the Guru through whom we found God, love and the fulfilment of life. May every 13 August remain a Day of Timeless Tribute.

Hindola Parva આજથી, અષાઢ વદ બીજથી શરું થતું ભક્તિભાવથી છલકાતું પર્વ એટલે હિંડોળા પર્વ. સતત એક માસ સુધી ભગવાનને હિંડોળે ઝુલાવીને લાડ લડાવવાની પ્રેમભીની પ્રણાલી ભક્તિ-સંપ્રદાયોમાં પ્રસિદ્ધ છે. આજથી બે શતાબ્દી પૂર્વે ભગવાન સ્વામિનારાયણને પણ હિંડોળે પધરાવી સંતો હરિભક્તોએ પ્રગટ ભગવાનને ઝુલાવવાનો અલભ્ય લાભ લીધો હતો. દર અઠવાડિયે ભક્તિભાવથી બનાવેલા નવા હિંડોળામાં આપ પણ ભગવાનને ઝુલાવવાનો લાભ લઇ શકશો! The Hindola festival begins today - Ashadh Vad Bij, and continues for an entire month. It is a cherished Hindu tradition where devotees create decorated hindolas (swings) to lovingly swing Bhagwan as an expression of deep affection, devotion and reverence.
