In contrast, I'm developing a new workshop, which will explore tying on hashira while remaining on the floor. Approaching this through the lens of aibunawa, these ties have less technical complexity than suspension-based hashira ties (no matter Naka or Kanna lineage, the more whimsical approach of Ropunawa, etc), instead exploring the erotic potential of tying on a vertical post. - 11 июн.S is in town, and we were finally able to meet again - and what a treat it was 😍 We met, talked and tied once before, almost a year ago, and though we both looked forward to the next time, life hasn't cooperated such that we could meet again until now. I'm so enamored of the way she expresses herself in ropes - writhing and twisting, grasping and straining for contact with fingers and toes, sinking deep into the shared space. Her active engagement gives so much to respond to, bringing an extra spark to patterns and practices that often feel like familiar extensions of myself, imbuing them with a particular essence that comes from each of us giving as much as we can of ourselves. This workshop will view a hashira practice through the lens of aibunawa, exploring the erotic potential of tying on a vertical post with simple, minimal structures and techniques. Balancing the sensuality of aibunawa with the intensity of semenawa can heighten the emotional potency of rope play. The rigid support of the hashira provides opportunities to bring elements of seme into a session, even while centering the “caressing” aibunawa style. Tying pairs should be comfortable exploring eroticism together - the workshop will not be explicitly sexual, but will contain suggestive content.
