Miyamoto Musashi is so wildly misstranslated that its ridiculous, first lines of the Ring of Emptiness should be: By mastering the mudra of the Two Realms (Womb and Diamond), by chanting the seed syllable 'Ah' until the conceptual mind collapses, and by visualizing the mandala of the Five Elements within the furnace of the tanden, the warrior enters the Womb World (Kū). Instead we get: The spirit of the void is where there is nothing.
German Jesuit scholar, Athanasius Kircher (1665), used accounts brought back to Europe to depict Amitābha Buddha on a lotus being revered by a devotee. Ironically with the European art style of fantastical elements the presence of Amitābha and Sukhāvatī pureland still shine forth. Maybe even more so. Often people will become attached to or hung up on styles of art or motifs. When in actuality, via skillful means, dharma will shine more brightly when allowed to flow naturally to those who are ready in the form most needed. Namo Amitābhāya! 南無阿弥陀仏

Visited shrines to Inari Ōkami (Japanese: 稲荷大神) today. Inari said to be the God of foxes, fertility, the harvest, tea, sake, agriculture and industry, and even wordsmith and merchants having the God as a patron deity. Inari has been known to incarnate in a human form or as a male or female fox. Inari isn't mentioned in the general pantheon of traditional Shintō groupings and some say he may be associated with animist shamanistic witchcraft that utilized fox skulls found amongst the Ainu and associated with Eurasian fox myths such as the Korean Kumiho, Chinese jiǔwěihúx, and Japanese kyūbiko (九尾狐). An Interesting note is that Kūkai, the founder of Shingon Buddhism, stated that Tō-Ji Temple has Inari has it's protector deity. Also per legend the mother of the famous Taoist Wizard (Onmyoji), Abe no Seimei, was said to be a 9 tailed fox. Hammer and Vajra.

After the religious suppression of Buddhism in the Sassanid Empire ended, Buddhism flourished yet again. The construction of more Buddhist monasteries was a key point for this. It was during this period that the Lokottaravada followers erected the famous giant Buddha statues of Bamiyan.
Sogdian names based on Buddha. The largest body of Sogdian texts found are Buddhist scriptures, and Sogdians were among the principal translators of sutras into Chinese. While the evidence points at Buddhism being a religion of great popularity among Sogdians, scholars affirm it never took root in Sogdiana itself. The re-conversion of Sogdians from Buddhism to Zoroastrianism coincided with the adoption of Zoroastrianism by the Sassanid Empire. In the 3rd Century CE the Sassanids overran the Bactrian region, overthrowing Kushan rule. Buddhists were persecuted with many of their stupas fired, this events halted the transmission of Buddhism westwards. During the mid 3rd Century CE, the Zoroastrian high priest Kirder dominated the religious policy of the state. He ordered the destruction of several Buddhist monasteries in Afghanistan, since the amalgam of Buddhism and Zoroastrianism manifested in the form of a "Buddha-Mazda" deity appeared to him as heresy. Buddhism quickly recovered after his death.
