🇨🇭🇮🇷🇶🇦 — Iran has filed a formal complaint with the Red Cross over Qatar's continued detention of three Iranian Su-24 pilots who were shot down at the beginning of the war. The Iranian Army said the pilots — Javad Salehi, Abdul Majid Dashtian, and Omran Behrushian — were among four Su-24 pilots who ejected safely after their aircraft were downed by Qatari air defenses while returning to Iran from a bombing raid on a US base in Doha in March. Six months later, Iran says Qatar is still holding the three pilots and has not allowed them to contact the Red Cross or their families. The Iranian Army is demanding that Qatar immediately comply with the Geneva Conventions and grant the three captured pilots the rights and protections afforded to prisoners of war. @TheWarReporter
