📢 Important Notice MOH has announced that the Health Professionals' National Competency Examination will take place from Nehase 13 to 15, 2018 E.C. Exam Schedule: Nehase 13 (Aug 19) Key Instructions for Candidates Orientation Day: All candidates must report to their exam centers on Nehase 12, 2018 E.C. at 2:00 PM (8:00 Local Time) for orientation, practice questions, and exam hall identification. Required Documents: You must bring your National ID and a printed exam admission slip with a QR code. Prohibited Items: No electronic devices (phones, smartwatches, glasses unless medically prescribed), bags, reference materials, blank papers, or food/drink (unless medically required). Attendance: Candidates must sign the attendance sheet in both session periods (morning and afternoon) before leaving the exam room. Exam Center Verification: Check the attached ZIP file below to confirm your assigned center. ⚠️ Note: It's strictly advised to take the exam at location they're assigned. @ventimed_official

EHPLE Jun 2026 Results Are Out! To everyone who took the health professional licensing exam this June: Check Your Score: 🌐 https://hple.moh.gov.et and log in using your FAN and password. Result Issues? If you have any complaints, you have 10 working days to call 📞 952 during office hours. Just have your full name, department, and university ready. Next Steps for Passing Scores: Congratulations! Your names will be sent to the regions starting Monday, July 13 (Hamle 6). You can pick up your license in the region where you did Grade 12. Hey Team! 👋 👉 #Pass_Mark So Many of you have inboxed us asking: "What exactly is the cut-off (passing) score?" Contrary to popular belief, the pass mark is not constant each year and decided by a committee sitting around a table saying: "63% sounds good this year. Let's make it 63%." 😅 For EHPLE MOH uses a standard-setting method called the Modified Angoff Method. How it works: 🩺 A panel of experienced physicians reviews every exam question and asks: "What percentage of minimally competent new General Practitioners would answer this correctly?" Ex: if 4 experts estimate that 80%, 75%, 85%, and 70% of minimally competent GPs would answer a question correctly, the average is 77.5%. This process is repeated for every question on the exam. The average across all questions becomes the recommended cut-off score. ✅ So if the overall average comes out to 63%, then 63% becomes the pass mark. In other words, It's determined by expert judgment on the minimum level of knowledge and skill required to practice medicine safely. So the licensing exam isn't asking: "Are you the smartest doctor in the country?" It's asking: "Would we trust you to safely manage a patient at 3 AM?" 🩺😄 👉 NB: 63% is just an example, we are not saying the pass mark is 63% this time.😃 Hope that clears things up! Today's Orientation Summary 🔐 Password Setup • After entering your FAN number with an "A" in front as your username, you will receive a temporary password. • Changing this password is mandatory. • You will then set a new 4-digit password that you can easily remember. 📝 Mock Exam • A 20-question mock exam was conducted. • The questions were random and not related to medicine; it seemed to be mainly for testing the system. 🎒 What to Bring ✅ Fayda ID ✅ Printed exam slip ✅ Pencil 🚫 Not Allowed ❌ Keys ❌ Other personal belongings ❌ No Smart things except for your Brain 😉 📢 Results • Results are expected to be released in the afternoon after the completion of the second-round exam. Exam Dates: June 24 to June 26, 2026 (ሰኔ 17 - 19, 2018 E.C.). Mandatory Orientation: June 23, 2026 (ሰኔ 16, 2018 E.C.) at 2:00 PM (ከቀኑ 8:00 ሰዓት) at your chosen exam center to look at the exam hall, take practice questions, and attend the briefing. Required Items: You must bring your National ID and a printed copy of your exam slip containing the system-generated QR code.
