    I live in Honolulu and we are getting massive rain and super strong winds - my ex-husband and adult son live just South of Hilo on the Big Island in the area that is getting hit the hardest. He messaged me that the winds are extremely strong and terrential downpours of rain - he doesn't live in a flood zone area but friends and Hilo area have shelters set up and a few homes have been swept away.
