Sri Aurobindo (born Aurobindo Ghosh; 15 August 1872 – 5 December 1950) was an Indian philosopher, yogi, poet, and nationalist who played a pivotal role in India's struggle for independence before dedicating his life to spiritual evolution. Following his imprisonment in 1908 related to the Alipore Bomb Case and a subsequent acquittal, he withdrew from politics in 1910 to Pondicherry. There, he developed Integral Yoga, a spiritual path aimed not at escaping the world but at transforming earthly life into a "divine life." He posited that humanity is a transitional being destined to evolve into a "supramental" consciousness.

In the Eastern Orthodox tradition, the event is primarily known as the Dormition (Falling Asleep) of the Theotokos, celebrated annually on August 15. This feast commemorates the death, resurrection, and bodily assumption of the Virgin Mary into heaven, serving as a "firstfruits" preview of the general resurrection of the faithful at the Second Coming.

It is a highly specialised vehicle, shaped according to Eastern wisdom from the five elements, the senses and the mind. We have a body and a personality and we express ourselves through this form. In reality, we are the soul. We did not create our form ourselves. Out of love for living beings, Mother Nature creates these forms out of the elements. When the purpose of the form has been fulfilled, it is fitting to return it to its source and the elements dissolve back into the earth. Shambala recommends that we consciously prepare for sleep by gratefully offering the mind and body with its elements to the reservoir of nature, and to do likewise at the end of life. This nightly ritual prepares us for our death. To depict Nature, the Mother of the World, I used a white statue of Quan Yin, who is revered in the Far East as a deity of mercy. Her head is surrounded by the moon. In her lap she holds a large water lily as a symbol of the unfolding of forms. The background is designed with a photo of the view from out of a tunnel on the Stockhorn in the Bernese Alps as a symbol of matter. The dots glowing in the darkness are from a field of stars indicating the souls taking on forms and casting them off again.

What we would like to share with you, is  the next seed thought in this series:   Sixth month The Plan—"The Plan for man has three great goals. The revelation of love; the illumination of the mind; the evocation of the will."(Discipleship in the new Age, Volume I, Page 412.)    What an enlightening and powerful seed of thought! Especially in today’s world, which is marked by confusion and a lack of direction, this message offers a healing sense of direction. It points to the three essential goals for humanity: the revelation of love, the enlightenment of thought, and the awakening of the will. These three goals can show people the way to a more conscious, responsible, and fulfilling life.   One might think that these goals must be achieved one after the other. However, none is possible without the others, and countless intermediate steps are necessary. These steps must be recognized, worked out, and taken by people.   Nevertheless, it is good to know the direction and to keep the overarching plans in mind. They provide guidance and meaning, even if the path to them involves many stages.   Love alone can touch people, but without enlightened thinking, it often remains unclear or is overshadowed by personal notions. Thinking, in turn, can recognize many things, but without love it seems cold and loses its connection to life. And even where love and insight are present, the will is needed so that what has been recognized and felt can become reality.   The I Ching states that a true community can only be formed where a common goal is pursued. A relaxing little group life time filled with exchanges, excursions and meeting friends who came for a visit.

For those who maintain spiritual goodness, or, like Noah's Ark, they will be saved and overcome the fires. Humanity will be lifted up when the Divine Will prevails over the human will. Sanat Kumara, the Lord of Shambala, intends to strengthen the Will of the Divine within humanity, so that people may transcend the fire rather than perish in it. Sanat Kumara stimulates the Will of God in those who align themselves by subordinating their personal will to the Divine Will: ‘Father, thy will be done, not mine’. Within our spinal column there is a vertical subtle channel, called Sushumna, which enables the flow of the energy of will. It is recommended that we orient ourselves to the Divine Will through our morning prayer, either in the Ajna centre in the head, in the heart, or in the higher heart centre in the upper chest region. The sun signs of Aries, Leo and Capricorn are related to the three centres mentioned. Astrological symbols for the Will of God are the ram of Aries, the lion of the sign of Leo and the unicorn of the sign of Capricorn. The image shows the semi-transparent silhouette of a human figure, surrounded and permeated by the scenery of beach, ocean and sky. At its centre there is the Sushumna energy channel. At its middle is the figure of a lion in the heart centre, designed using a Wikimedia photo by Vitold Muratov of a lion statue in the Thorvaldsen Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark. In the higher heart centre, designed with a photo of a blue diamond and, fused with it, the figure of a unicorn. Above, the head of a ram can be seen. It is reminiscent of the Puranic tale of Prajapati Daksha, whose head was severed and replaced with that of a ram. The story teaches us to overcome pride in order to humbly reintegrate ourselves into the greater Plan.

What  we would like to share with you ist the nex seed thought in this Series   Fifth month Service—"The sons of men must all be led to tread the Way of Love." (Discipleship in in the new Age, Volume I, Page 412.)   If all people were to follow the path of love, a peaceful and united humanity could emerge. At the moment, however, this goal seems so far away that only a few people are seriously considering it.   Nevertheless, Shambala and the Spiritual Hierarchy are working toward precisely this goal. They support the development of human consciousness and help pave the way toward a better world.   A united humanity can only emerge when no one has to suffer from hunger or live in poverty. This also requires that the Earth’s resources and existing prosperity be distributed more equitably. It is equally important that people think not only of themselves but also keep the well-being of all humanity in mind.   Respect and tolerance toward other religions, cultures, and worldviews are also essential prerequisites. When we are willing to see what unites us, rather than focusing only on what divides us, mutual understanding can grow.   Every person can contribute to this. In a text from the Yoga Friends Society, Kumbakonam, about "Bhrukta Rahita Taraka Rajayoga - New Yoga", it says (F. Society: Friends Society): "Master CVV started this Yoga to Conquer Death. Those who joined in the F Society, the F. Society members should live happily without disease, old age and death. Not only the mediums, but also who are closely associated with the F. Society members. It is mentioned in the Independence Declaration 01.07.1910 at 5.20 p.m. The Creator gave instructions to Master how to conquer the death. The instructions were received by the Master. We are giving hereunder the instructions for the guidance for those who practice this yoga with devotion and diligent faith. Master succeeded to raise the death in four occasions" And further it says: The Independence Declaration was widely published in Hindu paper dated 4.7.1910. In that it is said "ways are being paved to give all wisdom during family life itself without discarding it, to be without disease, old age and death. Not only we but also those who are closely associated with us will enjoy these fruits". May we all proceed well to gain independence.

On 29 May 2016, during the May Call Day celebration in Bengaluru, Master KPK said: "Today, we are releasing the “Declaration of Independence” as is given by Master CVV on 1st July 1910. On 29th May, he introduced the energies into the surrounding. That’s how 1st July becomes very important. 1st July is the date on which he declared independence as it shall happen on this planet for the humans who have otherwise been prisoners of this planet." So, we commemorate on 1 July this declaration of independence from physical conditioning and that we will remain conscious when the physical body drops off.
