11 August: 100th Anniversary of Master EK, 12 August: Anniversary of H.P. Blavatsky 12 August: Solar Eclipse On 11th and 12th of August, we celebrate the birthdays of Master EK and Madame Blavatsky. This year, it is the 100th Anniversary of Master EK as per Western counting and the 101nd as per Indian counting. Master EK was born on 11 August 1926 during the evening hours at about 5:30 pm. Madame Blavatsky was born 95 years earlier, on 12 August 1831. Therefore, we commemorate their birthdays together. It is always inspiring to align to these great messengers of Hierarchy on the occasion of their birthdays - inspiring for ourselves and for keeping our fiery aspiration strong by orienting to these great role models of discipleship. We won't be able to carry all the wisdom they gave in our awareness but one short saying of these Masters can be a guiding star on our path. July 26th is the day on which Master CVV in 1910 connected the cosmic, solar and planetary plane with the human kundalini and gave a planetary initiation through the sound of CVV. This is celebrated as "Master CVV Merry Life Day". The principle of Merry Life enables us to attain the realisation which Master CVV made possible. Master CVV himself was very cheerful and joyful at all times. He makes all the adjustments for invoking the two qualities of joy and cheer into our lives and to relate to the Merry Life. Master Djwhal Khul says that “cheer is a special wisdom”. A merry life is most important for the spiritual practice and the path of discipleship. The booklet "Merry Life Day. The 26th of July" is based on a lecture of Master K. Parvathi Kumar given on 26th July 2021.You find hints to the practice of feeling the pranic principle in the body. On 22 July, we celebrate the 75th birthday of Mother Krishna Kumari (22 July 1951 - 17 April 2020). She was the pillar of support of Master Kumar and the power behind him. Her quiet strength and her spiritual energy contributed to his mission. She frequently accompanied him on his travels - she travelled 40 intercontinental tours with Master Kumar.  She had a profound concern for the welfare of others and had a special dedication to "the feeding of the poor," Such activities are being carried out in her name ever since. Her inspiration and motherly care have deeply impregnated many activities carried out by the World Teacher Trust.
