TISHA B’AV — IF I FORGET YOU, O JERUSALEM Tonight, the Jewish people remember the darkest day on the Hebrew calendar. Tisha B’Av is not the memory of only one tragedy. It is the sound of generations weeping for Zion. On or around this day, Jewish history remembers: • The spies’ evil report and Israel’s refusal to enter the Promised Land • The destruction of Solomon’s Temple by Babylon in 586 BCE • The destruction of the Second Temple by Rome in 70 CE • The fall of Betar and the crushing of the Bar Kokhba revolt in 135 CE • The expulsion of the Jewish people from England in 1290 • The expulsion from Spain in 1492 • The beginning of the mass deportations from the Warsaw Ghetto to Treblinka in 1942 Babylon tried to destroy us. Rome tried to scatter us. Nations expelled us. The Nazis tried to erase us. But we are still here. We still speak Hebrew. We still read the Torah. We still pray toward Jerusalem. We still remember Zion. Numbers 31:1-7 'The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Take vengeance on the Midianites for the Israelites. After that, you will be gathered to your people.” 3 So Moses said to the people, “Arm some of your men to go to war against the Midianites so that they may carry out the Lord’s vengeance on them. 4 Send into battle a thousand men from each of the tribes of Israel.” 5 So twelve thousand men armed for battle, a thousand from each tribe, were supplied from the clans of Israel. 6 Moses sent them into battle, a thousand from each tribe, along with Phinehas son of Eleazar, the priest, who took with him articles from the sanctuary and the trumpets for signaling. 7 They fought against Midian, as the Lord commanded Moses, and killed every man.'

The MOU highlighted that gas prices and midterms can be manipulated through the Strait, and this is the real pain point for any American administration. Before you cheer for an American withdrawal from the Strait, consider the millions of jobs globally that depend on secure global shipping. If the US won’t control the seas, who will? Hint: it’s not going to be England. LORD, just like the Parashah in Your Word this Shabbat, in Numbers 31, where You commanded Israel to exact vengeance upon the Midianites, for cursing Israel, we call forth the complete inhalation of this Iranian regime, who have not only been cursing Israel, but has shown clearly it wants the destruction of Israel and is now also bombing any Middle Eastern neighbor that allies with her! LORD, vengeance belongs to YOU! So, we ask You to intervene in this situation, and bring about the destruction of this regime who refuses to repent and turn from their evil ways and continuously terroise Your people and their allies! In YESHUA'S MIGHTY NAME!! ADONAI TZ'EVAOT, give wisdom to Trump in how to finish this job that You have appointed for him to do! B'SHEM YESHUA!!🙏🙏🙏
