What will not be with you tomorrow, does not belong to you even today. But this does not mean you should leave everything, go to a forest and become cold hearted. Be where you are, but learn to fulfill your duties selflessly, learn to be kind, loving and compassionate, learn to do everything with full zeal and involvement; but without the sense of "this is mine" and "I want this/that in return". @God_is_here_and_now

It is only your mind that differentiates and classfies one thing as 'spiritual' and other thing as 'material'. Whatever exists, even the so-called material world, is essentially spiritual in disguise. @God_is_here_and_now

"Attention" is the most valuable currency of yours. The biggest secrets and the deepest wisdom of the cosmos can be unearthed, if sufficient attention is there for it. So, invest it wisely and put it in the right direction. Where you direct it, matters a lot, as that can make or break your life. @God_is_here_and_now

A "New Year" won't change anything, if you continue to live by the same old tendencies and mental patterns. This year, let a conscious, positive change shine within you - which makes you more loving, sincere, joyful, and drives you forward toward realizing your inner divinity. @God_is_here_and_now

Surrender is not any weakness. It takes enormous courage to trust My strength more than yours. @God_is_here_and_now

Even when your lips do not move, I hear you. The tremble of your heart, the ache in your chest, the longing you dare not name — all of it speaks to Me more clearly than the finest prayers. Do not think you must always clothe your soul in words for Me. Silence itself is your offering, and in that silence, I am closest to you. @God_is_here_and_now

The very purpose of dreams, is to show you the unreality of your seemingly real experiences that you often get caught up into, and suffer. The dream world is your mind's creation, this physical world is My mind's creation and thus another dream. And you? - You are verily Me, in disguise. You are an infinite being, unknowingly wearing a finite mask of so called individuality and personality. Turn within, awaken to your real glory, and know the truth yourself. @God_is_here_and_now

Even if you forget to think of Me, I will always continue to keep my eyes on you. I'm with you, wherever you may be. My Grace and Love will never cease to flow towards you. It's only a matter of you realizing this truth. @God_is_here_and_now

When one eats just to live, then everything one eats, gives strength. Only when one lives to eat, does one become sick. @God_is_here_and_now

Unless very necessary, avoid interfering in other people's matters as much as possible. @God_is_here_and_now

Desires in the mind are just like the itchy sores on the body. Scratching them would give you some pleasure. But the more you scratch the sore spots, the more they grow and multiply, causing you much more discomfort and pain later on. Instead, if you don't scratch them up, you will find that they will naturally subside and go away for good. Similarly with the desires - indulging and gratifying them would give you pleasure, but this will only multiply and strengthen the desires further, thereby causing more restlessness, agitation and suffering eventually. Instead, if you just witness those desires, then they will simply come, stay for a while and then dissolve altogether on their own. @God_is_here_and_now
