𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗔𝗛 الصَّلاَة فِي كُسُوفِ Narrated Abu Bakr، رضي الله عنه: We were with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) when the sun eclipsed. Allāh's Messenger (ﷺ) stood up dragging his cloak till he entered the Mosque. He led us in a two-rakat prayer till the sun (eclipse) had cleared. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of someone's death. So whenever you see these eclipses pray and invoke (Allaah ﷻ) till the eclipse is over." قال الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: هل تُصلى صلاة الكسوف والخسوف في البيوت؟ Is the eclipse prayer prayed in the houses? السنة للرجال الفزع إلى الصلاة في جماعة، The Sunnah for men is to hasten to the prayer in congregation, ويجوز للرجل أن يصليها منفردا أو في بيته، and it is permissible for a man to pray it individually or in his house. وأما المرأة فيجوز لها أن تصليها مع الجماعة، As for the woman, it is permissible for her to pray it with the congregation, ويجوز لها أن تصليها في بيتها، and it is permissible for her to pray it in her house, ويرى بعض أهل العلم أن صلاتها في بيتها أفضل. and some of the people of knowledge hold that her prayer in her house is better. https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli
