  • Dear Gabon Happy Independence Day! Sincerely, Israel

  • A Hezbollah commander placed his own family inside the group’s military stronghold, using them as human shields. Like Hamas, Hezbollah embeds military activity among civilians and then blames Israel when they are harmed. This cynical tactic must be condemned.

  • How do you clear a damaged hospital wing without shutting down the hospital? More than 24 hours into Israel’s rescue mission in Colombia, Israeli engineers are working alongside Colombian teams at Hospital Universitario del Valle in Cali to address exactly that challenge. Ambassador Alon Lavi, spokesperson for the Israeli rescue delegation: “Israel is here to support Colombia in its crucial and very difficult times.” Video credit: Israel MFA

  • “Colombia and Israel, are friends and allies, always! ” We continue working together, with commitment, brotherhood, and hope.

  • Israeli rescue teams have begun operations in Cali, Colombia, working with local authorities to assess collapsed sites and locate survivors. In the video, Ambassador Alon Lavi reports from one of the main disaster sites, where two six-story buildings collapsed completely. Video credit: Israel MFA

  • Israel’s rescue delegation has landed in Cali, Colombia. At the direction of Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa’ar, an advance team from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was on the ground to receive the delegation and coordinate the rescue operations. Upon arrival, Ambassador Alon Lavi and IDF rescue unit commander Brig. Gen. Yossi Pinto set out to assess the situation and survey the relevant rescue sites. The teams will start rescue operations in the coming hours.

  • Turkey’s Foreign Minister Fidan threatens Israel just one day after posing with a map that erases Israel entirely. He can spare us the lectures and the threats. Turkey, which has become the headquarters of the Hamas terror organization and hosts its terrorist leaders, has no role in determining Israel’s security arrangements in Gaza. The path forward is clear: Hamas must be disarmed and Gaza demilitarized. Only then can further Israeli steps follow. Israel will not allow Hamas to rebuild the capability to threaten our citizens again, and nothing Turkey says will change that.

  • Following FM Gideon Saar’s offer of assistance, an Israeli search, rescue & humanitarian aid delegation will depart for Colombia tonight in response to the devastating earthquake. The delegation, comprising some 80 personnel from the MFA, IDF & Ministry of Defense, will assist with search and rescue efforts and distribute food and water to those affected. The Embassy of Israel in Colombia will coordinate the delegation’s activities with local authorities.

  • Israel stands out in the Middle East for its religious diversity. Jews, Christians, Muslims and other religious communities live side-by-side, free to practice their faith openly without fear. This is especially significant in a region where many countries rank amongst the least religiously diverse globally. Israel’s continually growing Christian community is one example of a broader story: a country where multiple faiths continue to live, worship and thrive. https:// pewresearch.org/2026/02/12/sor table-table-religious-diversity-by-country-2010-2020/

  • Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the people of Colombia following the devastating earthquake. 🇨🇴🇮🇱 Israel stands ready to help our Colombian friends in any way needed. Strong allies stand together - especially in difficult times.

  • The UN counts Palestinian terror attacks against Israelis in the same database it uses to condemn Israel. Palestinians attack Israelis. The incident is recorded. Then the statistic is used against Israel. That isn’t credible data. It’s institutionalized bias dressed up as fact. https://www.jns.org/news/israel-news/special-report-un-data-counts-palestinian-terror-as-settler-violence

  • During 498 days in Hamas captivity, Sagui Dekel-Chen, kidnapped on October 7, 2023, wrote songs in his mind, memorizing every lyric and melody. This week, in front of 3,000 people in his home kibbutz of Nir Oz, those songs were finally heard. Hamas tried to silence him. Instead, his voice became stronger.

  • Bethlehem - the birthplace of Jesus - was around 50% Christian under Israeli rule. Today, after three decades of Palestinian Authority rule, Christians make up roughly 15%. During the Second Intifada in 2002, Palestinian terrorists violently seized the Church of the Nativity, turning one of Christianity’s holiest sites into the center of a 39-day armed siege. Bethlehem’s ancient Christian community is disappearing. This is the reality of Christian life under Palestinian Authority rule.

  • The Governments of the State of Israel and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela announce that, following the visit of the Israeli humanitarian delegation to Venezuela in the wake of the double earthquake that occurred on June 24, and further to talks held between senior officials from both sides, the two countries have agreed to continue their bilateral technical cooperation stemming from the emergency response and reconstruction efforts following the double earthquake. The two countries have also agreed to establish a coordination mechanism that will enable the provision of consular services, as needed, to their citizens residing in the other country. The two governments recognize the importance of the relationship between the State of Israel and the Jewish community residing in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which serves as an important bridge of historic friendship between the two countries.

  • Across the Middle East, some of the world’s oldest Christian communities are shrinking. Decades of violence, persecution, social and demographic change have dramatically altered the region’s Christian presence. Meanwhile, in Israel, the trend is positive: the Christian population has grown. The numbers don't lie.

  • The UN Security Council cannot examine violence in Judea and Samaria while ignoring cases in which members of the Palestinian security apparatus themselves have been involved in terrorist attacks. That reality should be the core of the discussion. Selective facts produce a distorted picture.

  • The UN Security Council cannot credibly discuss violence in Judea and Samaria while downplaying the central threat: Palestinian terrorism & the PA’s Pay-For-Slay policy financed by donors' money. 896 attacks in 2026. Ignoring that reality isn't an oversight. It's a distortion.

  • As the UN Security Council is about to discuss violence in Judea and Samaria, it must not ignore Palestinian terrorism: 896 terrorist attacks. 4 people murdered. 119 wounded. That is the real security challenge since the beginning of 2026
