የፍትህ ተደራሽነት ለሴት ፖለቲከኞች እና መሪዎች! ⚖️🌸 ሴቶች በፖለቲካዊ ተሳትፎና ውሳኔ ሰጭነት ሚናቸው ላይ የሚያጋጥሟቸውን የመብት ጥሰቶች፣ ትንኮሳዎች እና አድሎዎች (VAWiP/E) ለመግታት ትምራን (TIMRAN) የመብት ጥሰቶች መከታተያና መቀበያ ቅጽ አዘጋጅታለች። ይህን ቅጽ ሴት ፖለቲከኞችና አመራሮች ተገቢውን ድጋፍ ለማግኘት እንዲጠቀሙት ታበረታታለች። በዚህ ቅጽ የሚሰበሰብ ማንኛውም መረጃ እና የተሳታፊዎች ማንነት በከፍተኛ ሚስጥር የሚጠበቅ ሲሆን፣ የሴቶችን የፖለቲካ ተሳትፎ ለማሳደግ እና የፍትህ ተደራሽነትን ለማረጋገጥ ለሚደረጉ የፖሊሲ ግፊቶች ብቻ ይውላል። To address and document human rights violations, harassment, and discrimination faced by women in political leadership (VAWiP/E), TIMRAN has developed a Rights Violation Monitoring and Receiving Form. TIMRAN encourages all women Politicians and leaders to use this form to acquire the relevant support. All submitted information and personal identities will be kept strictly confidential. TIMRAN, with the support of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and in collaboration with the Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association (EWLA), organized the Post-Election Learning and Advocacy Workshop on VAWiE: Reflections from Observation of Ethiopia's 7th General Election. The workshop brought together Women's Rights Organizations, election observers, and key stakeholders to reflect on lessons learned, validate observation findings, identify priority electoral reforms, and strengthen coordinated advocacy to prevent Violence Against Women in Elections and advance women's safe, meaningful, and equal political participation. The Women's Political Participation Community of Practice, co-chaired by TIMRAN and UN Women Ethiopia, organized a post-election reconvening meeting to reflect on the 7th General Election. The meeting brought together CSOs, NEBE, EPPJC and development partners to share observation findings and experiences, discuss lessons learned, and identify practical recommendations to strengthen future efforts in preventing Violence Against Women in Elections (VAWiE). Discussions emphasized improving observer capacity, enhancing coordination among stakeholders, and promoting inclusive and accessible electoral processes for women. 2/2 The forum focused on promoting the endorsement and effective implementation of Ethiopia's National Action Plan (NAP) on Women, Peace and Security while reinforcing women's meaningful participation in peacebuilding, conflict prevention and resolution, and decision-making processes at all levels.
