The Isala Project Please pray for G_, local household helper for the RW family in Southeast Asia (Isala team). After her motorcycle was hit by a truck on Friday, May 1, she is still in great pain from a broken knee, broken femur, and internal bleeding. The doctors chose to wait until Wednesday this week for surgery. RW and KW are concerned that G_ is deteriorating and may not be strong enough for surgery. G__ is anemic which adds additional complications to the surgery. RW said "We really need a miracle" G__'s husband and son were also on the motorcycle and were injured. They're being told that the young son may not recover movement in his hand. Your prayers for G_ and her family, and for the Isala team members close to this situation, would be greatly appreciated.
FORGE — The Talmadim Way When Jesus said, “Come, follow Me,” He was not calling men to a classroom, but to a way of life. His talmidim walked with Him, served with Him, and were shaped by Him in every part of life. This is the heart behind the FORGE Talmidim Groups mentoring program. Through intentional discipleship and connection with your local church, we seek to shape lives—not just teach lessons. Watch this video to learn more about the meaning of talmidim and what we are called to be as followers of Jesus.
Have you wondered if God might be calling you to serve in the hardest places of the world? Many young men and women sense that quiet stirring in their hearts but are unsure how to prepare. Reaching the unreached takes more than enthusiasm—it requires preparation, endurance, and a firm foundation in Christ. That is why All-Nations is launching FORGE, a nine-month mission training program beginning September 2026 in Central Pennsylvania. Through FORGE, you will grow physically, spiritually, and practically for mission work. Participants will develop endurance through outdoor training such as hiking, backpacking, and fitness preparation for rugged environments. At the same time, you will be guided into deeper spiritual disciplines that strengthen your prayer life and daily walk with God. The program also includes biblical studies on God’s mission, preparation for hardship in ministry, cross-cultural training, and life-on-life discipleship through mentoring groups. We envision some participants joining All-Nations, others serving through partner organizations, and perhaps others living this calling out faithfully in their own communities at home. Our prayer is that FORGE will help raise up men and women ready to follow Christ wherever He leads—even to the hardest places still waiting to hear the gospel. “Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you” (Luke 10:8). I have tried to put this verse into practice as I live among the Tarahumara people. It’s amazing how eating in each other’s homes breaks down the obstacle of us being the rich white people and they being the poor ones. You will never have a close relationship with someone if you refuse to eat their food. I feel it is especially important to eat what they offer when I’m visiting a house for the very first time. For the most part I love the food around here, and eating what they serve is not a struggle. But one time when I went to a house for the first time the lady offered me goat soup. The moment I got a whiff of it I realized that it was spoiled. But I told the lady I was going to thank God for the food, and then in faith I ate it. And I never got sick! —JB, Tarahumara Team

“Most everyone at Camp Week knows that some of the children were battling a severe stomach bug. The night that Naviyah ended up in the emergency room, I woke to hear the wind blowing fiercely through the campground. It sounded angry to me in my half-awake state, and I had this strange thought float into my mind—that Satan must be so angry at our children. I prayed for protection and fell asleep again. In the morning, I realized just how much our children need protection. A tree had fallen outside our tiny house, and if it had fallen at a slightly different angle, it could have hit the large window of our tiny house—right where the children were sleeping. Praise God for His protection! As I process this, I wonder whether we need to ask for more focused prayer for the children in our organization. People tend to pray for the work itself, and for the adults involved directly. But as living pictures of members of the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 18:3–4), the enemy doesn’t want the children to thrive. He wants to destroy and mar the image. Let us lift up our missionary children before our Father, who cares deeply for them." ~JB on Reya Nurani Team

Pedestals. The kind we mentally create for those we admire are so beautiful, so idealistic, so tall. And some of us have a healthy fear of such heights! Being a Kingdom advancer in a statistically rare role—for example, a Bible translator—is likely to find you way up on somebody’s pedestal. That is not all bad; they have an honorable desire to admire a noble cause and its adherents. What is not okay is the perception (theirs or ours) of missionaries being up there kinda alone. We perceived-as-pedestaled personnel are just right up there with the rest of you faithful in Christ Jesus, seated in the heavenly places, so that in the coming ages God may show how great is His grace! There is one other thing I want to say about pedestals. Christ offers one. It is made of two beams—one vertical, one horizontal. Jesus—when lifted up—drew all people to Himself on that “pedestal,” and God has highly exalted Him to a position whose glory far surpasses the difficulty of the crucifixion trial. Anyone who wants to join Christ, seated in the heavenly Ephesians 1 pedestal, now has a good idea what pedestal to climb to get there. Would you like to be put on a pedestal? --WW Isala Translator
