We are incredibly grateful to Studio 11 for organizing this amazing fundraising event to help us create a greater impact in our community. To bring this vision to life, we’re looking for 30 passionate volunteers. Finance & Operations Intern Ayzon Foundation is seeking a precise and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team in Addis Ababa. This role is focused on supporting organizational transparency through rigorous data management and financial follow-up. The Role You will support the finance department by ensuring every donation and expense is meticulously tracked. Your focus will be on maintaining clear digital records and ensuring our project budgeting remains accurate and up-to-date. Key Responsibilities • Transparency: Real-time tracking of income, donations, and project expenditures. • Budget Support: Conducting market research to assist in developing realistic project budgets. • Digital Management: Maintaining all financial records and trackers via Google Workspace. Technical Requirements • Google Workspace Proficiency: Advanced skills in Sheets (formulas and data organization), Drive, and Docs. • Market Intelligence: Ability to research and benchmark market prices for project planning. • Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in maintaining "Budget vs. Actual" trackers. Qualifications • Recent graduate or final-year student in Finance, Accounting, or related fields. • Strong analytical skills and a commitment to professional integrity. Junior Communications Officer Intern Position Overview The Junior Communications Officer Intern will support Ayzon Foundation in communications, stakeholder engagement, donor relations, and media management. This role provides hands-on experience in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including donors, partner NGOs, government bodies, media, and beneficiaries while contributing to the organization’s visibility and digital presence. Key Responsibilities 📝 Content Creation: Develop and support communications content for internal and external audiences. 📱 Digital Management: Manage and update the organization’s social media platforms and digital communication channels. 🤝 Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with donors, funding partners, media, and press contacts. 📅 Event Support: Assist in planning and organizing events, workshops, and stakeholder meetings. 📊 Reporting: Support donor reporting and documentation of project activities and impact. 📂 Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of communications, donor interactions, and stakeholder correspondence. Qualifications & Requirements 🎓 Education: Current student or recent graduate in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, International Relations, or related fields. 🗣️ Language: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic. 💻 Technical Skills: Familiarity with media management, social media platforms, and digital content creation. 🎯 Interests: Interest in stakeholder engagement, donor relations, and NGO communications. 💡 Soft Skills: Creative, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. 🤝 Commitment: Adherence to organizational policies and confidentiality; commitment to voluntary, unpaid work.
