The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever possesses the following 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝: 1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle ﷺ become dearer than anything else. 2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allahs sake. 3. Who hates to revert to disbelief (Atheism) after Allah has brought (saved) him out from it, as he hates to be thrown in fire". > Before We Say, "At Least We Got a Holiday"... Every flood tells a different story. For some, it's a day off from school, college, or work. A chance to stay under a warm blanket, sip tea, and enjoy the sound of the rain. For others, *it's a day of wondering how they'll cook their next meal, whether their roof will hold through the night, or if they'll have anything left when the rain finally stops.* Today, _I received a call from a family in tears._ Their gas cylinder had run out. They usually cooked on a small chulha outside, but the continuous rainfall had made even that impossible. *Hours had passed, yet they couldn't prepare a single meal.* `That conversation was a reminder.``` The same rain that feels _`peaceful to one home can become a test of survival for another.`_ So before we celebrate the weather or the unexpected holiday, let us remember those whose reality looks very different from ours. Keep them in your du'as. Check on those around you. And never let comfort make you forget those who are struggling. *Not every blessing is experienced by everyone in the same way.* May Allah protect every family facing hardship, grant ease to those affected by the floods, and make us among those who remember others in our moments of comfort. Āamīn.
