Difference between Allah's names al-‘Alīm and al-Khabīr The author explained that “al-Khabīr” refers to knowledge of hidden matters that are extremely subtle, minute, and concealed. This indicates that the names al-‘Alīm and al-Khabīr share a common aspect, which is the perception of information. However, al-Khabīr is more closely tied to a precise dimension of perceiving information—namely, the perception of what is subtle, small, and hidden. For experience (khibrah) is a subset of knowledge. Allah's name al-Wadūd “Al-Wadūd” — This name comes in the morphological form fa‘ūl, and it carries two possible meanings. 1. Fa‘ūl in the sense of fā‘il (active participle): thus wadūd means wād — “loving.” That is, He loves those among His creation whom He loves. 2. I don't know if it's because they didn't have time or if they don't respond to women, so disregard the word "sheikh" السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته يا شيخ، أسأل الله أن يحفظك ويحميك، لقد أعطاني أحد الإخوة رقمك، وآمل ألا أكون قد تسببت لك في إزعاج. أنا أخت اعتنقت الإسلام منذ سنتين، والحمد لله، أنا برازيلية الجنسية، وقضيت وقتاً طويلاً دون أن أملك الشجاعة لإخبار عائلتي باعتناقي الدين. في العام الماضي، شكت أمي في أمري بسبب قضائي وقتاً طويلاً في غرفتي (كنت أصلي)، وبسبب كثرة الكتب التي تلقيتها (كتب إسلامية أهدتني إياها أخت من سنغافورة ومساجد في البرازيل). فتحدثت أمي مع امرأة مسيحية قابلتها في الشارع، وبدأت هذه المرأة تقول أسوأ الكلام عن الإسلام، سبحان الله، وذكرت كل الأكاذيب التي يروجها الغرب عن الإسلام. نتيجة لذلك، تشاجرت معي أمي وأجبرت والدي على حرق كل كتبي الإسلامية ومصاحفي وحجابي الوحيد، وهددتني بطرق شتى، وهددت بالاتصال بالشرطة ظناً منها أنني متورطة في أعمال إرهابية، سبحان الله، وأجبرتني على الذهاب إلى الكنيسة، لكنني بقيت صابرة وواثقة بالله. منذ ذلك الحادث العام الماضي، أحاول أن أبقى ثابتة وواثقة بالله. وحتى الآن، أمي لا تريد تفهمي ولا تقبل بكوني مسلمة، لكنني ما زلت مسلمة والحمد لله. بالأمس تشاجرت معي قائلة إنها ستخبر عائلة أبي بديني الذي اخترته، وستقول أكاذيب عن الإسلام، وقالت قبل ذلك إنني سأكون ابنة جاحدة إذا "تركتها" وتركت والدي لأعيش حياتي بحرية. لطالما أخبرتها أنني أريد مغادرة المنزل والعيش بعيداً، لأن هذا كان أحد أحلامي. عمري الآن 20 عاماً وأشعر أنني محبوسة معهم، ولذلك فإن حلمي هو الاستقلال. ما رأيك يا شيخ في هذا الأمر؟ هل سأكون جاحدة إذا تركت والدي في البرازيل وهاجرت لأتبع الإسلام بحرية؟ وهل يعتبر هذا قطعاً للرحم؟ أنا أدخر أموالي لأتمكن من الهجرة، لكن السفر من البرازيل إلى بلد ذي أغلبية مسلمة مكلف جداً، كما أن هناك صعوبة في الهجرة بالنسبة للمرأة. ورغم أنه من الصعب إيجاد رجل مسلم صالح للزواج في هذه الأيام، إلا أنني لا أريد الزواج فقط من أجل الهجرة. هل أنا مخطئة في هذا التفكير؟ منذ أيام مررت بأوقات صعبة جداً، وأصابتني الكثير من الوساوس حول أفكار انتحارية وكفر، لكن والحمد لله إيماني ثابت ولن أترك الإسلام أبداً إن شاء الله. ما هي الأدعية أو الأذكار التي يمكنني قولها لطرد هذه الوساوس من الشيطان؟ أشعر بصعوبة بالغة لأنني محبوسة ولا أستطيع ممارسة الإسلام. كما أريد أن أعرف هل سيغفر الله لي ويتفهم وضعي؟ فأنا لا أستطيع أداء الصلوات في أوقاتها الصحيحة، وأصلي صلواتي خفية حتى لا يراني والداي. أشعر بسوء شديد لأنني لا أستطيع طاعة الله في كل شيء، أحاول الصبر، لكن سبحان الله لا أعرف كيف سأخرج من هذا الوضع؛ فالهجرة صعبة جداً والأسعار مرتفعة للغاية. في الختام يا شيخ، آمل أن تجيب على تساؤلاتي، بارك الله فيك وحماك، ومنحك أعلى درجات جنة الفردوس Brother, if you have any contacts with sheikhs or ustadhs and cannot answer my question, please forward it to them. He said: O Yasar, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to us while we were offering this prayer. Answer: Waalaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh The Standing Committee was asked about playing cards if that does not distract people from prayer and there is no money involved. They answered: “Playing cards is not permitted , even if there is no money involved, because the problem with that is that it distracts people from remembering Allah (Dhikr) and from prayer. Even if they claim that this is not the case, then it is still a means that may lead to gambling which is expressly forbidden in the Quran . Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), and gambling, and Al-Ansab (stone altars for sacrifices to false gods) and Al-Azlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaytan’s (Satan’s) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful.” [Al-Ma’idah 5:90] These cards have an effect on society, for the bonds of a strong society are achieved by means of two things: following the commands of Allah and heeding His prohibitions. A society disintegrates when it neglects any of those duties or does any of those things that are forbidden. These cards form one of the factors which have an effect on society. They cause people to neglect prayer in congregation, and they generate alienation, breaking of ties, hatred and negligence through the committing of haram actions, and they make people too lazy to earn a living.” (Fatawa Islamiyyah, 4/436)
