Difference between Allah's names al-‘Alīm and al-Khabīr The author explained that “al-Khabīr” refers to knowledge of hidden matters that are extremely subtle, minute, and concealed. This indicates that the names al-‘Alīm and al-Khabīr share a common aspect, which is the perception of information. However, al-Khabīr is more closely tied to a precise dimension of perceiving information—namely, the perception of what is subtle, small, and hidden. For experience (khibrah) is a subset of knowledge. Sunnahs of Eid (Eid-al-Adha) Perform Ghusl (ritual bath), use Miswak (tooth-cleansing twig), wear new (or clean) clothes, and apply Attar (perfume). Eating something sweet before heading to the Eidgah (prayer ground) on Eid-al-Fitr. On the day of Eid-al-Adha, avoid eating anything until you return and eat from the meat of the sacrificed animal. Women going to the Eidgah for Eid prayers. Changing your route while going to and returning from the Eidgah. Reciting the Takbirat (praises of God) frequently while walking to the Eidgah. Greeting others with the following words: تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكُمْ (May Allah accept [good deeds] from us and from you)

(Abu Dawood: 2419) Divine Oath: This is the day by which Allah Almighty has taken an oath. (Al-Fajr: 3, Tirmidhi: 3339) Atonement for Sins: Fasting on this day is an expiation for the sins of two years (the previous year and the coming year). (Sahih Muslim: 1162) The Covenant: This is the day on which Allah Almighty took the covenant from the progeny of Adam. (Al-A'raf: 172-173, Musnad Ahmad: 4/151) Forgiveness and Freedom: On this day, those staying in the plain of Arafah are granted forgiveness for their sins and freedom from the Hellfire. (Sahih Muslim: 1348)
