The political right prides itself on being reasonable and authentically tolerant people. But too many otherwise intelligent people expose just how easily they are controlled, duped, bribed, blackmailed, and simply bought off when it comes to anti-Shariah hysteria. While I understand that it’s easy for conservatives to attack muslims since most Muslims vote progressive, one would at least expect conservative influencers to offer a logical take on why Shariah law and Muslims are a threat to the West. It makes sense to say Muslim politicians are a threat because so many are openly socialist/Marxist. But the same can be said of many non-Muslim progressives. It is easy to understand how calls to abolish the senate, ICE, borders, police, and prisons —nothing of which Shariah calls for—could undermine the stability of any political order. It is harder to understand how discouraging sexual promiscuity, sexual perversion, wine drinking, drug use, pornography, and other social vices would undermine Western values. What then are “western values” anyway?

The theological and spiritual evolution and awakenings of prominent individuals are probably best undertaken in private, not online. Abu al-Hasan al-Ash’ari reportedly went into to seclusion for close to 40 days before he disavowed his Mutazili beliefs. Imam Al-Ghazali left his post for 10 years to deal with his spiritual and intellectual crisis. Breaking away to give time to beta-test one’s new understanding of things before sharing them with the public is, generally, less harmful than working through them in real time.

The socialists are concerned with redistribution = taking wealth away from the ultra rich and middle class and giving it to the rest of us. If they were merely talking about welfare and social security for people physically impaired, too old to work, or widows, it would be one thing. But what socialists are talking about is exploiting the workers for the benefit of those who don’t want to work, punishing risk takers and innovators in order to reward those who don’t innovate and take risks.

Most people don’t realize that it was only over the past half century that more than half of world’s population developed the ability to read and write. People pride themselves on being able to read. But reading doesn’t necessarily make you an educated person. People feel proud to have college degrees. But we know that most universities today are indoctrination centers. Useful knowledge historically has been carried and passed down from the learned to their disciples and mentees; the most important of which is good character. Technology enhances the abilities of the trained more than those of the untrained. The untrained find benefit too. But their lack of training makes them more susceptible to deception and delusion. They are easier to manipulate and lack the knowledge needed to detect forgeries and altered information. That means the technocrats who control the technology they rely on become their new masters since they determine what can be included and omitted from the archives. It’s interesting that the Prophet Mohammad—upon him God’s blessing and peace—considered mass literacy ظهور القلم one of the signs of the end times.

Cozying up to the sultan is said to be terrible. But becoming the sultan is great. We learn in the Qur’an that hypocrites are in the lowest depths of hell. So, if there’s any reason to keep your distance from power it is because there’s no profession better at teaching you how to be a hypocrite than running for and holding political office. Every governor is just one assassination attempt away from pharaonic oppression. And as moral compromise and dissimulation are key to the success of politicians, it is not meant for those who pursue transparency and honesty with the public. Someone has to do it. Just remember the nature of the office.

Sellouts love it when they discover other sellouts. Because the existence of sellouts gives them others to target with their critique to distract from the fact that they have sold out. The sellout believes their comprise is justified by the fact that the comprise of other sellouts might be worse than their own.

Muslims have a tendency to celebrate too soon. We think Abdul Sayed’s victory proves the Zionists have been defeated. It is a good sign. But let’s put things in perspective:  Michigan is a swing state. And this race was a political primary of the Democrat party.  Sayed still has to look forward to the general election against his Republican challenger. Sayed only won by about 1/2 percentage point. And a third candidate who dropped out of the race still received about 60,000 votes.  This means that Michigan Democrats are split almost 50/50 pro versus anti-Israel and/or pro vs anti DSA. And while Sayed tried to distance himself from the DSA agenda, he was endorsed by the DSA and other Democrat socialists. The tens of thousands of votes that went to the third candidate indicate another rupture in the state’s Democrat party which is likely to affect the outcome in the general election.  The Democrat establishment opposed Sayed’s bid because they believe he will give the Republican candidate a better chance at flipping a blue seat red. The fact that Sayed won by the skin of his teeth maybe a strong sign that this will happen. But time will tell.
