The Re-membering the Heart Men’s Groups are designed for Muslim men who feel something missing in their lives. This is for those who work hard, serve their families and communities, worship their Lord, and give of themselves earnestly— only to find themselves hitting a wall and fumbling the momentum. Years and years pass, and they are able to grow and succeed in many ways, but deep down inside they know themselves and feel something is wrong. They still lose their temper. They still disconnect from their loved ones. They still find themselves going back to bad habits. They still find themselves falling short of the greatness they know they have within. Over 6 weeks, brothers will move through the architecture of the Muslim man’s inner world — the qalb, the nafs, the aql, the body — with the tools of holistic Islamic medicine, somatic healing, and the medicine of real brotherhood. Our hope is to uncover the hidden inner dimensions to our stagnation and fragmentation, and offer language and practical tools in healing and growing through our traumas and tribulations; and we will do this all together, in sha Allah.
