This is how the West Midlands Police framed four innocent men. Nawheed Ali, Khobaib Hussain, Mohibur Rahman and Tahir Aziz were given life sentences after being set up. A fake company. An undercover officer called Vincent. A car was left in Vincent’s possession before the arrest was made. Suspicious evidence and yet, four men were given life sentences. This is why we demand that West Midlands Police reveal Officer Vincent’s identity and that the CCRC reopen the case. Email here to demand justice: https://www.cage.ngo/campaigns/free-the-birmingham-four?utm_source=chatgpt.com#take-action
10 Years of Injustice: Demand Freedom for the Birmingham 4 This month marks a decade since four innocent men from Birmingham were imprisoned for life for terrorism offences, crimes they never committed, after being set up by the West Midlands Police force. The police lied. The police fabricated evidence. The police were found in contempt of court. Yet despite this, their testimonies were relied upon and the convictions remain. Now, CAGE, alongside 41 organisations, is calling on the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) to reopen the case. Email the West Midlands Police and demand action for the Birmingham 4: https://www.cage.ngo/campaigns/free-the-birmingham-four#take-action

TAKE ACTION: 41 organisations are calling for the Birmingham 4 case to be reopened. This month marks 10 years since the four men were imprisoned. They were sentenced to life in 2017, and serious concerns have since been raised by their lawyers over evidence and police conduct during their trial. We demand an immediate review by the CCRC: https://www.cage.ngo/campaigns/free-the-birmingham-four#take-action

For over 20 years, CAGE has stood on the frontline defending those who are unjustly targeted, arrested and imprisoned. We've supported the Filton 25, advocated for Dr Aafia Siddiqui, and supported the prisoners of Guantánamo. That work is only possible because of your generous support. Standing with our survivors is, at the very least, a Fardh Kifayah, a communal obligation. As this blessed Jumu'ah draws to a close, help us build a stable foundation for this work. We are asking 1,000 of you to set up a monthly donation from just £10. Join the 1,000. Donate today: https://cage.ngo/donate
Blindfolded in a black hood, with a knife held to his neck, and tied up amongst others. Our Senior Director, Moazzam Begg, recalls the first time he prayed under US Military custody. At that moment, the brother next to him quietly reminded him of prayer. Even in chains, they turned to Allah. This is the reality for many prisoners today. On this blessed Jumu'ah, don't miss the opportunity to support prisoners facing injustice. We're looking for 1,000 monthly donors from just £10 a month. Join the 1,000. Donate today: https://cage.ngo/donate
The "War on Terror" never ended. It just found new targets… In Texas, a court sentenced anti-ICE protesters to a combined 450 years in prison following demonstrations outside an ICE detention centre. One defendant received 30 years for simply moving a box of magazines after the protest, despite not being present during the protest. The parallels with the Holy Land Foundation case are hard to ignore, where five Palestinians were imprisoned for providing charity support to Palestinians. When legal frameworks built during the "War on Terror" are used to criminalise dissent, facts no longer matter, nor does any real notion of justice in the US system.

Today marks 21 years since Masood Janjua and Faisal Faraz were forcibly disappeared. In July 2005, Masood along with his friend Faraz left home for a trip and never returned. They both were never seen again. Masood was more than a name on a list, he was a respected businessman, and a man of deep faith. Known for his intelligence, humility, and generosity, he lived a life of purpose and simplicity. He believed that wealth was a trust from God, to be shared with those in need. He was adored by his children and was their emotional heart of the family. 21 years on, Masood and Faisal are still missing. We call on Pakistani authorities to end the policy of enforced disappearances.
