Know these important things. 1. Being humble is not weak. 2. Being forgiving is not weak. 3. Gentleness is not weak. 4. Silence is not weak. 5. Empathy is not weak 6. Apologising is not weak. (It is the quality of a loving and soft hearted person). 7. Being vulnerable is not weak. 8. Taking their advice is not weak and doesn’t make you “less” These are the qualities that existed in the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم Weakness is where stubbornness is, where harshness is, where disrespectful behavior is. All of this is weakness and mark to correct in one’s character. ∗ —————— ∗ —————— ∗ One Rule: Every story must be based on or derived from the authentic hadith/sunnah. When the companion Ubai Ibn Ka’ab (radiyAllahu ’anh) asked the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu‘alayhi wa ālihi wa sallam) what would happen if he dedicated all of his supplications towards sending blessings on the Prophet Muhammad (sallAllahu‘alayhi wa ālihi wa sallam) The Prophet (sallAllahu‘alayhi wa ālihi wa sallam) replied “Your needs will be satisfied and your sins will be forgiven”. Ubai bin Ka’ab (radiyAllahu ‘anh), who said; “I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, I supplicate often, so how much of my supplication should I devote to you?” He (sallAllahu‘alayhi wa ālihi wa sallam) replied, ‘as you desire’. I said, ‘a quarter of it?’ He (sallAllahu‘alayhi wa ālihi wa sallam) said ‘as you desire, but if you were to increase upon this, it would be better for you.’ I said, ‘half of it?’ He (sallAllahu‘alayhi wa ālihi wa sallam) said, ‘as you desire, but if you were to increase upon this, it would be better for you.’ I said, ‘two-thirds of it?’ He (sallAllahu‘alayhi wa ālihi wa sallam) said again, ‘as you desire, but if you were to increase upon this, it would be better for you.’ Finally I said, ‘and if I dedicate my supplication in its entirety to you?’ He (sallAllahu‘alayhi wa ālihi wa sallam), ‘then your needs will be satisfied, and your sins forgiven.’ [Sahih Musnad of Imam Ahmad (rahīmahullāh] Keyword: Salawat, Salawaat, Salutations, Darood, Durood, Darud

as-Sunnah Benefits: Blessings of Following the Advice from the Hadith and Reviving Forgotten Sunnahs. ∗ —————— ∗ —————— ∗ السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته Sunnah of Fajr! These are two light rakaahs. If we can think of one thing we want right now what would it be? It is better than it. If we could think of everything we want right now that we have on our life’s wishlist what would it be? It is better than it. The two sunnah of fajr is better than the world and all that it contains and this is every time. People in the past the best they had was cattle, farms, crops it was better than it. People now the best they have is tall buildings, cars, picture perfect houses. The sunnah of fajr, you will find in the akhiraah that it is better that all that you could’ve asked for yourself in any given moment. ∗ —————— ∗ —————— ∗ One Rule: Every story must be based on or derived from the authentic hadith/sunnah. Forgiven Due to Abundant Salawaat When Hafiz Ahmad al-Shirazi (rahimahullah) died a man came to his son and asked: I saw your father (Ahmad al-Shirazi) in a dream, standing in a mihrab (prayer niche of masjid’s Imam) in the Shiraz Masjid, he was wearing a (nice-looking) robe and a jeweled crown on his head. So I said to him (in the dream): (After your death) what did Allah do with you? He (Ahmad al-Shirazi) replied (in the dream): He forgave me (completely) and (also) honored me. I asked: For what (deed)?! He replied: By my abundant (sending of peace and) salutations (salawaat) upon the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). [adh-Dhahabi (rahimahullah) in Siyaar A’laam an-Nubalaa’, 16/473]
Imam Shafi’ee (rahimahullah) used to say, I love to send plenty of salat (salutations) upon the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ʿalayhi wa ’aalihi wa sallam) all the time and I love it more so on the day of Jumu’ah. [Kitabul Umm, ash-Shafe’e (rahimahullah), 1/546]

Silence is honourable, one of the doors of wisdom, it saves you from deficiency in dignity (rooting from speech) bi idhnillah and it safeguards you from many regrets that speech brings along. So if your words isn't good, remain silent. Prolonged silences are beneficial for your iman bi idhnillah. Just because you have tongue and a working mouth doesn't mean it doens't require rest. The default setting of mouth should be silence and words should come out as per requirement, need and goodness. Be cheerful, love others and take mid path. Those who are good at words, use this blessing for others. As for others, remember that Silence is beautiful. ∗ —————— ∗ —————— ∗ One Rule: Every story must be based on or derived from the authentic hadith/sunnah. Some stories are translated from Arabic. Notice this from your past and you’ll see that a blessing was taken away. It is NOT worth it. This is not for the one who’s wrong and he argues, it is also for one who may be right! The believer is forbearing. Study about Ibraheem Alaihi Salam whom Allah praised with best praises. We have an example of this from hadith of lailatul qadr. There were two men quarreling in the masjid and the knowledge was lost. It is NOT worth losing your blessing. Sometimes the blessing may be tied to the person you’re quarreling with and that makes it worse. Then what? So be respectful, mindful, repentant, mature. Be dignified. Do it for the sake of Allah! ∗ —————— ∗ —————— ∗ One Rule: Every story must be based on or derived from the authentic hadith/sunnah. Some stories are translated from Arabic. Tap to share your story
The Prophet (ṣall Allahu ʿalayhi wa-’ālihi wa-sallam) said: Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold and will erase from him ten misdeeds and raise him ten degrees in status. [Sunan an-Nasaai, 1297]

Abu Hurairah (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, The world, with all that it contains, is accursed except for - the remembrance of Allah, - (all) that which pleases Allah; - and the religious scholars - and seekers of knowledge. [at- Tirmidhi; Riyad as-Salihin, 1384; In-Book Reference: Book 12, Hadith 9]

If your family is saying they are in pain , they are hurt, don’t diminish it and say anything to counter it. Rasoolullah صلى الله عليه وسلم was understandings of people’s feelings and their troubles. If you’re losing empathy for your parents, your spouse or your children please do ruqyah to yourself. Please be gentle with them. Please be dutiful. Please be good. Please be kind. Sheikh Muqbil al-Wadi'i (rahimahullah) said: "...People have only trusted the call of Ahl as-Sunnah because it does not change colors." [Tuhfat al-Mujib, pg. 105]

Abu Hurairah (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) said: There came a man to the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, which charity is the most rewardable?" He (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, "That you should give charity (in a state when you are) healthy and stingy and fear poverty, hoping to become rich (charity in such a state of health and mind is the best). And you must not defer (charity to such a length) that you are about to die and would be saying: 'This is for so-and-so, and this for so-and-so.' Lo! It has already come into (the possession of) so-and- so [al-Bukhari and Muslim, Riyad as-Salihin, 90, In-Book Reference: Introduction, Hadith 90]

The fact that Rasulullah (salli Allahu alaihi wa sallam) recited it to others when it was revealed. It was recited and memorised. If you know this surah you see what these verses are saying. No person will read their own criticism and publish it to the world. Thats what I was reflecting on about this… There is some verses in Surah haqqah. These are the verses of haqqah up to the end of the surah but I’m quoting a few (44 to 46) “And if he (Muhammad) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah), We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), And then certainly should have cut off his life artery (Aorta), And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. The Quran is from Allah and those who argue should be told to read surah abasa and these verses of surah haqqa. When Aisha (RadiAllahu Anha) said “His character was the Quran” you understand it from surah abasa, he was always being corrected, and he is already perfect but he was being made perfect in every which way. So he was in the end the perfection of all good traits and perfect character. He was an example of the teachings of Quran itself. I wanted to share with you all. The religion is not based on intellect and emotions, indeed it is with following the rulings in the Book and the rulings of the Messenger (salAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) in his Sunnah and in his ahadith. [Shaykh al-Albani (rahimahullah), Silsilah al-Huda wan-Noor, 520]

Learn to be okay with it which means accepting decree. It is a strange path. It is a lone path. It is okay because Allah is pleased with you. It is okay because this is not new. Those before us went through a lot more than we do. Some distance, a bad word towards us, some gazes, that’s all we get and we get uncomfortable. Others before us suffered wounds, pain, hardship, more pain, actual harm and here we are getting anxious, getting affected by mere words. I’m not saying be strong. It’s so hard. I’m saying just let go. Let it be. If this is how it’s going to be don’t fight to change it. You please Allah and make that your only concern, be respectful to all, do your obligations and accept that the world honours the rebellious, the sinner, the one who transgresses against Allah. We are better with Allah and His Messenger (SwalAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam). We are not alone. If we are the only one in our family on Sunnah, then we are the Jamaah. We are the whole army. We are the Jamaah in 1 person. Holding on in this time to patience and to be in your homes is the only way to salvation. Do not bring unnecessary attention to yourself. Do not get involved in what does not concern you. Do not try to do more than what you’re told to do. Understand that some things are meant for you and not the whole world, try to understand this difference in the many things in your life and you’ll find peace. I don’t know what I’m saying actually I am trying to say people of sunnah are rare. It’s a blessing. ∗ —————— ∗ —————— ∗ One Rule: Every story must be based on or derived from the authentic hadith/sunnah. Some stories are translated from Arabic. Tap to share your story
Amrah (radiyAllahu ‘anha) daughter of Abd al-Rahman (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) reported on the authority of the sister of Amrah (radiyAllahu ‘anha) I memorised (surah) "Qaf, by the glorious Qur'an" from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) on Friday for he recited it on the pulpit on every Friday.
