Istighfār brings peace when your heart feels heavy. It invites blessings you didn’t even ask for. It makes your rizq flow in quiet, unexpected ways. It soothes the mind like a balm — the kind only Allāh can give. It opens doors you thought were permanently shut. It makes the impossible happen. But most importantly? istighfār brings you closer to Allāh and there’s nothing more valuable than that. سَيِّدُ الاِسْتِغْفَارِ The most superior way of asking for forgiveness «اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ» “O Allāh! You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am your servant and I abide by your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in you from the evil, which I have committed. I acknowledge your favor upon me and I knowledge my sins, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except you.” The Prophet ﷺ said: “If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.” 📓—[Sahih al-Bukhari, 6306]
‘Awn ibn Abdullah (rahimahullah) said: There is nobody who has free time to look at the people’s faults except due to negligence of himself. [as-Samt Ibn Abee ad-Dunya (rahimahullah), 198]
I advise you with (the recitation and acting upon) the Qur’an, since it is light on a dark night and (it is) the brightness of the day. [Jundub (radiyAllahu ‘anhu), Shu’b al-Eemaan of Bayhaqi (rahimahullah), Min Akhbar as-Salaf, pg. 100]

Anas رضي الله عنه narrated: A Bedouin man came to Rasoolullah ﷺ and said: “Ya Rasoolullah ﷺ teach me something good.” So Rasoolullah ﷺ held his hand and said: Say سبحان الله، الحمد لله، لا اله الا الله، الله اكبر The man counted them on his fingers, then went away thinking and later came back. Rasulullah ﷺ smiled and said: “The poor man started thinking.” The man asked: “ Ya Rasoolullah ﷺ, these words are for Allah… but what is for me?” Rasulullah ﷺ replied: When you say “سبحان الله,” Allah says: “You spoke the truth.” When you say “الحمد لله,” Allah says: “You spoke the truth.” When you say “لا اله الا الله,” Allah says: “You spoke the truth.” When you say “الله اكبر,” Allah says: “You spoke the truth.” And when you say: اللهمَّ ! اغفِرْ لي “O Allah, forgive me,” Allah says: “I have forgiven you.” When you say: اللهمَّ ارْحمني “O Allah, have mercy on me,” Allah says: “I have mercy on you.” When you say: اللهمَّ ارزُقْني “O Allah, provide for me,” Allah says: “I have provided for you.” (السلسلة الصحيحة 3336 ) How beautiful is Allah’s mercy… Even our simple words of dhikr are answered by Allah Himself.

𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗲 Allah promises us twice: “For indeed, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 Indeed 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲” Not before it. Not after it. 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗧. Allah did not say it once…He said it twice. And SubhanAllah on top of that, 𝗛𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 “𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗮” 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 “𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱”. Such a powerful and guaranteed reassurance from Allah….that no doubt, the 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. With every hardship that comes, only later do we realize that it came to awaken the soul. It was never meant to destroy us but it was meant to build us and shape us. We often say: “This too shall pass.” But what we might not realize is that 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲. And Allah SWT says the reason why we can not appreciate it because we don’t know what is actually happening or going to happen. So of course we are experiencing this particular moment, this particular episode of our life in this way...because we do not know any better. But 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗔𝗹-‘𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗺, the One who knows all 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁! So why focus only on the pain when 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀?
Sincere Repentance Ibnu Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: When you resolve to repent sincerely and it arises from the depths of your heart, it will burn away the sins you have committed, as if they never even happened. For the one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin. _ Al-Wabil Al-Sayyib (12)

The First Deception Of Iblees Ibn Al-Jawzi [D. 597 A.H.] [رحمه الله] said: «اعلم أن أول تلبيس إبليس على الناس صدُّهم عن العلم، لأن العلم نور، فإذا أطفأ مصابيحهم خبّطهم في الظلام كيف شاء» ❝Know that the first deception of Iblees upon the people was to restrain and prevent them from knowledge, because knowledge is Noor [Light], so if Iblees extinguishes their lanterns then he causes them to wander around in the dark however he wants.❞ [Talbees Iblees, (1/389)]
Who Taught Us The Rites of Hajj? Ibraheem (alayhi salam) said (calling out to Allah): “Our Lord, show us our rites.” Then Jibreel (alayhi salam) took him by the hand and he went with him until he brought him to The House (the Ka’bah) Jibreel (alayhi salam) said: Raise the foundation (of the House). Ibraheem raised a foundation until he completed building it. Then he (Jibril) took him to as-Safa and said: “This is one of the symbols of Allah”. Then he took him to al-Marwah and said: “This is one of the symbols of Allah”. Then he took him by the hand and went with him towards Mina. So, behold, it was iblees at al-‘aqabah, by the tree. Jibreel said (to Ibrahim) to say upon him: Say the Takbeer (Allahu Akbar i.e., Allah is Great) and pelt (stones) at him! Say the Takbeer and throw at him! (Ibrahim did so) iblees went until he arrived at the final Jamrah (of the three Jamrahs). Jibreel said (to Ibraheem) to say upon him: Recite the Takbeer and pelt stones at him… (he did so) Then iblees went away. … the khabith (malicious, evil iblis) has been wanting to enter into the Hajj rites something (of innovation) but he could not do so (he was prevented). Then (Jibreel) went with him (Ibrahim) and arrived at the Mash’ar al-Haram (Muzdalifah) Then he said: This is the al-Mashar al-Haram (the Valley between Muzdalifa and Mina, where pilgrims should make a Du'a after sleeping in Muzdalifah) Then he went with him until he arrived at (the plains of) ‘Arafah and said: This, is Arafat. (And then he asked him): ‘Arafta ma araytuk? (i.e., have you understood what I just showed you?) Ibrahim replied: “Yes”, three times Jibreel said: (Now, make a) call to the people for al-Hajj Ibraheem asked: And how do I call? He said, Say: “O people! Answer your Lord!” Three times The people answered: “At your service, Oh Allah. Our Lord, at Your service.” Twice So whoever answers Ibrahim from that day on from among the creation, then he is a Pilgrim. [Sunan of Sa’eed Ibn Mansour (rahimahullah), 220]
Beloved brothers and sisters, Tonight is the first night of Dhul-Hijjah, and tomorrow is its first day. These are nights and days that Allah Himself has magnified and honored. Part of honoring Allah is honoring what He has made sacred: “And whoever honors the symbols of Allah — indeed, it is from the piety of hearts.” — Qur’an translated meaning 22:32 The Lord of Majesty swore by them: “By the dawn, and by the ten nights.” — Qur’an translated meaning 89:1–2 These are the first ten nights of Dhul-Hijjah. They should never pass like ordinary days. It is authentically reported that our Prophet ﷺ said: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” The companions asked: “Not even jihad in the cause of Allah, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied: “Not even jihad in the cause of Allah — except for a man who goes out with his life and wealth and returns with neither.” Imagine a merchant eager for profit and burdened with debts. If the season of his trade arrived and he slept through it, would he be considered rational? This is our season — a season in which we may profit, draw near to the Most Merciful Lord, and repay the debts of our sins. So strive, strive earnestly, O lovers of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. Increase in prayer, recitation of the Qur’an, fasting, and excellence toward your parents. Maintain ties with those whom your parents loved after their passing. Uphold family ties. Care for the needy. Call the heedless back to Allah. upport the religion and your oppressed brothers and sisters. Increase in saying: “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is Greatest), “La ilaha illa Allah” (There is no god but Allah), and “Alhamdulillah” (All praise is due to Allah) — in your homes, on the roads, as you come and go. And whoever has a sin, let him abandon it. May Allah bless these days for us and for you, and gather us together with you in the Gardens of Eternal Bliss.
This knowledge is carried by the trustworthy successors of every generation, who refute the distortions of the ignorant, the fabrications of the liars, and the misinterpretations of the extremists. Narrator: Ibrahim ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Udhri | Transmitter: Imam Ahmad | Source: History of Damascus Page or number: 7/39 | Summary of the hadith scholar's ruling: Authentic The hadith was narrated by al-Uqayli in al-Duafa al-Kabir (4/256), Abu Nuaym in Ma`rifat al-Sahabah (732), and al-Bayhaqi (21439) with slight variations. God has made goodness remain in this nation, never to cease until the Hour comes, even if the people of this time are far removed from the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his Companions, may God be pleased with them, by many centuries. This is due to the virtue of their scholars and mujahideen. In this hadith, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, informs us that the religious knowledge from the Book and the Sunnah, and the sciences that emanate from them, is bestowed by God Almighty, and it is learned and carried in every century and generation of this nation throughout the ages by the most just and trustworthy people of their time, more so than by others of their time. They are like the words of God Almighty: {And let there be among you a community inviting to good} al imran 104 For the one who calls to good is more deserving of it than others, and likewise, the one who possesses knowledge is the most deserving of acting upon it. Among the duties of those who have undertaken this knowledge, and which the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, stipulated, is that they purify the religion of God Almighty and are a means of preserving it from what the ignorant have distorted, what liars and deceivers have inserted, and what innovators and extremists, such as the Kharijites and others, have imposed, who have introduced into the religion of God Almighty what does not belong to it. This is a prophetic directive to all those engaged in Islamic knowledge, urging them to dedicate themselves and a portion of their time to this crucial task. It is well-known that those who undertake this role in spreading the faith are exposed to various trials and tribulations in both their religious and worldly lives. Therefore, their mention in this hadith is meant to emphasize their importance and highlight the immense reward they will receive from God Almighty. The hadith also praises those who possess Islamic knowledge and encourages its pursuit. It contains: a warning to Muslims against the ignorant, lying, hypocritical, and deceitful group who mislead people about their religion, and a warning against extremism and fanaticism in the religion of God Almighty.
The Qur’aan Descended From Up High Ibn al-Qayyim [رحمه الله] said: ❝There is a clear distinction that Allaah sent down the Qur’aan from Himself. As in His saying: ﴿تَنْزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ﴾ «The revelation of the Book [this Qur’aan] is from Allaah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.» [Surat Al-Jathiya: 2] ﴿تَنْزِيلٌ مِنْ حَكِيمٍ حَمِيدٍ﴾ «sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise [Allaah].» [Surat Fussilat: 42] ﴿قُلْ نَزَّلَهُ رُوحُ الْقُدُسِ مِنْ رَبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ﴾ «Say Ruh-ul-Qudus [Jibrael] has brought it [the Qur’aan] down from your Lord with truth» [Surat An-Nahl: 102] This indicates to two matters: that the Qur’aan is clearly from Allaah and no one else. That Allaah is the One who Spoke it and no one else. Secondly: That Allaah is high above His creation, that the trustworthy Ruh [Jibreel] descended with the Qur’aan from Allaah from a high place to His Messenger.❞ [‘Ilaam al-Muwaqqeen Un Rabil Alameen, (4/68)]
Do you have a secret good deed with Allah? Something that is only between you and Him? Do you have any charity that you give secretly, that no one knows except Allah? There are stories that will not be revealed, except in your book of deeds when you meet Allah. You truly deserve that, through this, your status becomes higher near to Allah. Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said : By Allah, I have seen one who is abundant in praying, fasting, and exhibiting silence while displaying humility in himself and his dress. Yet the hearts [of the people] turn away from him, and his status amongst them is not all that! And I have seen one who attires himself in fancy clothes, does not perform an abundance of voluntary acts [of worship], nor does he make a show of humility, yet the hearts go one after another in feeling love for him. So I reflected on the reason [for this], and I realized it was because of those actions that are kept hidden from others. صيد الخاطر (٣٥٥) We should have some hidden good deeds that no one knows about except Allah. When Allah rewards those deeds on the Day of Judgment in front of people, others will feel amazed and wish they had done the same, wondering what actions earned such a great reward.
