  • Shaykh ibn Baz رحمه الله: “When the need (you have) is delayed (from being fulfilled), don’t blame your Lord. Don’t say: Why, why (haven’t you answered my du’a) my Lord?! Rather, it’s upon you to return back to yourself and take account of yourself, for indeed your Lord is All-Wise and All-Knowing. Therefore, return back to yourself and look. Perhaps you have something with you from the sins and the acts of disobedience which is the reason for the delay in the answer (for your du’a).” [Majmoo’ al-Fatawa (v. 5, pp. 304-305)]

  • Shaykh Fawzan completed the explanation of Kitab Tawhid in 10 years. How many of us listen to the lessons of our scholars vs podcasts of philosophers, people of rhetoric and the ignorant? The foundation is knowledge of the Quran & Sunnah. Salafīyah. ودع عنك آراء الرجال وقولهم

  • “It is common for those who indulge in riba to have a bad ending.” May Allah protect us and all Muslims aameen Riba is not a joke!

  • Do not be from those who are not shy of committing sins in front of Allah ﷻ Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: “He values the watchfulness of other members of the creation with his entire heart and every limb He shies away from the people but does not shy away from Allāh.”

You'll be feeling lazy and unmotivated, but then you read a part of the Qur'an, and all of a sudden you feel ready to take on the whole world 🥺 Indeed, the Qur'an is truly a cure for whatever is in the chest. Subhanallah

  • Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdulwahhab رحمه الله memorised Quran at 10 years old and lead the prayer at 12 years old. Died at 91 years.

  • 1- The definition of Tawheed. Belief that Allah alone is the Creator, Sustainer, and Master of the universe. 2- The definition of Shirk (polytheism). Associating partners with Allah in any aspect that is exclusive to Him alone, whether in His Lordship (Rububiyyah), His Worship (Uluhiyyah), or His Names and Attributes (Asma' wa Sifat). 3- The state of the polytheists among whom the Prophet ﷺ was sent. They acknowledged Allah as the Supreme Creator, yet bowed to idøLs. The Prophet ﷺ was sent to call them from merely knowing their Lord to worshipping Him alone. Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], 'We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position.'" (Surah Az-Zumar, 39:3) 4- The definition of ‘Ibadah (worship). It's every thought, word, and action done to please Allah. From prayer to smiling, from earning halal to helping others – when done with sincerity and according to the Sunnah, it all becomes worship. "I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship Me." (Quran 51:56) 5- The difference between Rubūbiyyah (Lordship) & Ulūhiyyah (Worship), and the connection between them. Rubūbiyyah (Lordship) Belief that Allah alone is the: Creator, Sustainer, Master of Everything Directing all acts of worship to Allah alone: Prayer, Du'a, Sacrifice, Reliance.

  • The Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: He who slaps his cheeks, tears his clothes and follows the ways and traditions of the Days of Ignorance is not one of us. [Sahih Al Bukhari (1294)] I hope you are thinking what am thinking 🤔

  • "A sinner may think he is safe because his health and wealth remain untouched — yet his heedlessness is itself a punishment. A sin followed by another sin is the punishment for the first; a good deed followed by another is the reward for the first."

  • Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah رحمه الله said: “The Deen will not be complete except by knowing the Prophetic Ahadeeth & Salafi Aathaar [narrations] according to what the Prophet & the Companions intended from the religious meanings, as were the scholars of the Salaf.” [Jamia Al-Masail, (5/41)]

  • Be consistent with your morning and evening adhkar their protection by will of Allah is indescribable.

A woman once said: "I used to regularly pray with a du'a from the Prophet (SAW), which we often overlook. The du'a is: اللهم أصلح ذات بيننا، وألِّف بين قلوبنا، واهدنا سُبُلَ السلام ‘O Allah, mend what is between us, unite our hearts, and guide us to the paths of peace.’ -Abu Dawood (2594) and Ahmad (23064) Then she said: "SubhanAllah! I began to feel peace in my home with my children, my husband, my family, and everyone around me." How amazing that such a powerful du'a exists, yet most people rarely remember to say it.

  • Imam Ibn Taymeeyah رحمه الله said: “Sufyaan Bin 'Uayaynah was asked about feeling sadness for an unknown reason.  He said: 'It is a sin which you desired to do secretly but you did not perform it, so you were rewarded with sadness for it.' Therefore, sins have a penalty, secret sins are sanctioned secretly and public sins are sanctioned publicly.” [Majmoo Al-Fatawa, (14/111)]

  • Don’t let your life story be: “He knew every World Cup player & celebrity, but not the names of the 10 sahabah who were promised Paradise.” & "He stayed awake all night for matches, yet slept through Fajr without regret" May Allah guide us & protect us from wasting our time on things that bring no benefit in this dunya or akhirah.

  • The love of fame breaks backs! Bishr ibn al-Harith, may Allah have mercy on him, said: I do not know of a man who loved to be known except that his religion was lost and he was disgraced! A man who loves to be known by people will not find the sweetness of the Hereafter. Hilyat al-Awliya' by Abu Nu'aym (8/343)
