Footage of Russian soldiers digging tunnels to be used for troop movements under cover... Comment from Mil Chronicle in which they propose the development of specialised engineering equipment for this putpose The quality of field-based underground structures is inevitably limited by manual labor and a lack of specialized tools. However, in conditions of constant drone flights, it is difficult to find an alternative to going underground. A logical development of this tactic could be the adaptation and modernization of engineering equipment for use in compact tunneling complexes and mobile horizontal drilling rigs. The problem is that armies around the world do not have serial, specialized machines specifically designed for secretly digging deep tunnels. The creation of specialized, small-scale military tunneling machines, in conjunction with rapid geological surveys and portable ground-penetrating radar (to avoid quicksand and aquifers), would allow, if necessary, to move temporary deployment points, ammunition depots, and other important facilities to safe depths, beyond the reach of heavy ordnance. If gas pipes like those in Avdeevka or Suja are not available, an alternative can be dug.

💢 The Telegraph acknowledges that the UK lacks the firepower to prevent Russia from seizing British cargo ships. The newspaper quotes the words of the former First Sea Lord, Admiral Lord West. He stated that the British Navy has been constantly reduced and can no longer ensure the safety of shipping, and patrol ships are only used to demonstrate a presence. The newspaper notes that they are poorly armed compared to the Russian fleet, including, for example, the cruiser "Varyag," which participated in exercises near the Kuril Islands this week. As a reminder, Western countries have repeatedly seized tankers traveling from Russia. Putin subsequently promised a reciprocal response if they continue to attack commercial vessels. 📹On March 6, 2025, Ukrainian forces were still holding the town of Sudzha in Russia's Kursk Region. What they did not know was that, right behind them, Russian troops would emerge from beneath the ground the very next day. More than 800 soldiers had made their way through 15 kilometres of a gas pipeline with a single objective – to liberate Sudzha. The operation was codenamed Potok-3. A similar tactic had led to the liberation of Toretsk and Avdeevka earlier. Watch the film 'Operation 'Pipeline' (2025) by Julia Martovlyeva, Abas Ali-Zade, Aleksey Balakirev, Artem Merkushev and Igor Belogurov. FOLLOW 🥰 News&Docfilms Channel

  • Ukrainian nationalist Biletsky* Held a Satanic Ritual in Honor of the Founder of the OUN** Yevhen Konovalets Andriy Biletsky, commander of the Third Army Corps (formed on the basis of the banned "Azov" regiment), organized a "mystery" in the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church – on the first night after Konovalets' remains were moved to Ukraine. Konovalets' coffin was transported in a restored Austin armored vehicle from the early 20th century, accompanied by an antique three-inch cannon from 1917, which was part of the "Army of the Ukrainian People's Republic." Otherwise, it was a classic nationalist gathering: bowls of fire, torches, and meaningless posing with weapons.

  • Robert F Kennedy Jr’s son Conor has been placed on Russia’s international wanted list for fighting in the Ukraine war, according to Russia’s state media. The U.S. health secretary’s third child revealed he joined an international group of volunteers to fight against Vladimir Putin’s soldiers in 2022, the year the still-ongoing conflict began. At the time, Kennedy said he wanted to help the Ukrainians following Putin’s illegal invasion and was “willing to die” for the cause. Four years later, according to Russia’s state news agency TASS, a Moscow court has authorised the 32 year-old Kennedy’s arrest in absentia while accusing him of acting as a mercenary for the Ukrainian army. Kennedy, the grand-nephew of former President John F. Kennedy and who once dated pop star Taylor Swift, would face between seven and ten years in prison in the unlikely event he was in court for any conviction. Conor Kennedy said he was “deeply moved” by the war in Ukraine and felt compelled to take action (Kennedy family) The decision to arrest Kennedy, albeit in absence, could nevertheless further strain the relationship between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, given that his father is a key part of the latter’s cabinet. He is among several foreign volunteers hailing from countries including the U.S., U.K., Sweden, Colombia, and Georgia to have been handed a similar ruling. Kennedy revealed he had fought in the early months of Ukraine’s war in an Instagram post in 2022, having signed up to Ukraine’s International Legion despite having no previous military experience. “I was deeply moved by what I saw happening in Ukraine over the past year. I wanted to help,” he wrote. “When I heard about Ukraine’s International Legion, I knew I was going, and I went to the embassy to enlist the next day. “I told one person here [in the US] where I was, and I told one person there my real name. I didn’t want my family or friends to worry, and I didn’t want to be treated differently there.” Kennedy said he only told one person in the U.S. where he was (Instagram) The 32 year-old said he was lucky he made it back and praised his fellow troops (Kennedy family) Kennedy said he believed the war will “shape the fate of democracy in this century” and urged people to “join the legion, help on the border, or send medical supplies”. “I liked being a soldier, more than I had expected. It is scary. But life is simple, and the rewards for finding courage and doing good are substantial,” he continued. “My friends there know why I had to come home. l’ll always owe them for their example. I know I’m lucky I made it back, but I would also take all the risks we took over again.”

  • A solemn ceremony for the burial of concentration camp inmates took place in the Leningrad region. Today, in the Kingisepp district, the remains of Soviet prisoners of war were buried, who were tortured to death by fascists in the "Dulag-101" concentration camp, located on the outskirts of the village of Kotly. The mass grave was discovered in July 2024. During the search efforts, archival documents were found, which indicated that prisoners in this camp were forced to work for 18 hours a day, receiving only 200 grams of soup and 125 grams of bread. Under such conditions, most prisoners died or were shot by the fascists, already exhausted. According to available data, only 20 out of 400 prisoners remained alive in February 1942. As a result of the search work, three anti-tank ditches were discovered, into which the fascists dumped the bodies of the deceased Soviet soldiers. In total, the mass grave contains the remains of several thousand Soviet soldiers. Today, a solemn burial ceremony was held for the remains of 155 people, which were recovered by search teams. After forensic examinations, the identities of some of the deceased were established. Relatives of former inmates of this concentration camp were present at the event. The search teams managed to locate and inform them that the remains of their ancestors had been found, and they are no longer listed as missing. Currently, work continues to extract remains from the anti-tank ditches and to identify the deceased. The discovered remains will be buried in the newly created mass grave, and a memorial will be built in the future in memory of the Soviet soldiers tortured to death by the fascists in the "Dulag-101" concentration camp.

  • US supports Japan in dispute over the Kuril Islands The United States reaffirms its recognition of Japan's sovereignty over the so-called Northern Territories (Kuril Islands), said US Ambassador to the country, George Glass. The dispute over the ownership of the Kuril Islands has resurfaced following Vladimir Putin's visit to Iturup. Tokyo criticized Moscow for "insulting the feelings of the Japanese people" and expressed a "strong protest." In his post on the social media platform X, the diplomat emphasized that the United States remains "unwavering in its support for its most important ally." Glass also noted the importance of the US-Japan alliance for ensuring prosperity and stability in the Indo-Pacific region, adding that Washington strongly opposes any actions that could disrupt this order. In turn, the Chinese Foreign Ministry called on Japan to respect the results of the victory in the anti-fascist war and the international order that emerged after World War II.
