Uzbekistan introduces digital "Animal Passports" - required registration for animals A new procedure for the identification, registration, and tracking of animals is being introduced in Uzbekistan. Starting from August 7 of this year, animals kept and (or) bred by individuals or legal entities within the country will be required to undergo established identification and official registration. The document also sets specific deadlines for animal identification and registration. The system then matched GPS coordinates to property data and automatically issued a citation. This infrastructure for continuous automated surveillance of private property (drones + AI + owner matching + automated fines) is already operational under the banner of invasive-species control.
