FASTING REMINDER!!! ─────────────────── Fast tomorrow, the best day Allah created - the day of ‘Arafah! The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم informed us that fasting on this day will expiate two years of sins, the previous year and forthcoming year!! Don’t lose this opportunity, every son of Adam sins, everyone is susceptible to committing sins, so strive to get them expiated. One day of labour & sacrifice and Allah will forgive two years of your sins! What a bargain! ─────────────────── Make plenty of duah, this is a blessed day, rest assured your duah will be answered in sha’Allah as you went as a guest of Allah! Don’t lose and then regret you didn’t take full advantage of the opportunity, most importantly do not restrict your duah, nothing is too much or too great for Allah to bestow and grant! This is the time to secure your future, build your hereafter by imploring Him and get forgiven for your past. This is a generous day in which Allah forgives left, right and centre. - Shaykh Musa Jibril حفظه الله https://t.me/LightOfTheTruth

The Correct Approach to Laylat Al-Qadr. "However, we ask the one who only prays the last 10 nights, “Do you have absolute certainty that you will attain the Ajr of this night?” Maybe he will, and maybe not. A better approach than that – to witness and cherish Laylat Al-Qadr – is to sacrifice, and this night requires major sacrifice. The Sahabah (رضي الله عنهم) when they would fast, they would be in a trench with no food! They were constantly striving in the path of Allah and yet they still made time to pray the night of Laylat Al-Qadr. So, given that we cannot absolutely be sure of when Laylat Al-Qadr is – which is better? The one who prays the last 10 nights only, or the one who is praying the nights from the beginning of Ramadan? With regards to the one who truly wants to witness Laylat Al-Qadr, I lean towards the one who treats every Night of Ramadan, as Laylat Al-Qadr." - Shaykh Musa Jibril حفظه الله https://t.me/LightOfTheTruth

Question: If someone denies the glorification (tasbīḥ) of animals, can we regard them a disbeliever (make takfīr upon them)? ⸻ Answer: No, it is not permissible to regard such a person a kāfir (disbeliever). The reason is that the glorification of animals is not among those matters that are maʿlūm min ad-dīn bi-ḍ-ḍarūrah — that is, matters known by necessity to be part of the religion. It is therefore not considered from the fundamentals of Islam. For instance, issues such as the five daily prayers or fasting during Ramadan are matters that are well known, universally recognised, and established by explicit and unequivocal proof. Should a person deny these after the evidences have been clearly presented to them, such denial constitutes disbelief, because these acts are among the essential pillars of Islam. However, subjects like the glorification of animals, do not reach that same level of universality and necessity in knowledge among the Muslims. Thus, denying them does not in itself remove a person from Islam. ⸻ General Principle Takfīr is only applied to one who denies or rejects a matter whose permissibility, obligation, or prohibition is firmly established in Islam by: 1. Clear, unequivocal textual evidence (from Qur’ān or authentic Sunnah), and 2. Unanimous scholarly consensus (ijmāʿ) recognising that matter as a definitive component of the religion. If both of these conditions are met, then rejection of such a matter constitutes disbelief. ⸻ Example • Whoever denies one of the five pillars of Islam—such as the shahādah (testimony of faith), the prayer (ṣalāh), or fasting in Ramadan (ṣawm)—after clear proof has been established, has indeed disbelieved. • Conversely, denying a subsidiary issue (farʿiyyah) that is not among the essentials of the religion, such as the glorification of animals, does not render one a disbeliever. ⸻ Summary Denial of the glorification of animals is not grounds for takfīr, because it does not concern a matter known by necessity to be part of Islam. In addition, it is a jurisprudence issue. Only the denial of clear, unanimously established fundamentals—such as the pillars of Islam—constitutes disbelief. — Shaykh Musa Jibril حفظه الله https://t.me/LightOfTheTruth
🌿 If Allah Defends You, None Can Harm You 🌿 Allah reminds us that true protection, victory, and guidance comes only from Him. When you place your trust in Allah, nothing can harm you except by His permission. “If Allah helps you, none can overcome you; but if He forsakes you, who is there that can help you after Him? And in Allah let the believers put their trust.” — Surat Ali Imran, verse 160 “And whosoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.” — Surat al-Talaq, verse 3 ✨ Hadith of Ibn ʿAbbās رضي الله عنه: Ibn ʿAbbās said: “One day I was riding behind the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and he said: ‘O young boy! I will teach you some words. Be mindful of Allah, and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him with you. If you ask, ask only from Allah. If you seek help, seek help only from Allah. Know that if the whole world were to gather together to benefit you, they would not be able to benefit you with anything except what Allah has already written for you. And if they all gathered to harm you, they could not harm you with anything except what Allah has already decreed against you. The pens have been lifted, and the pages have dried.’” — Tirmidhi ⸻ 💡 Benefits: • Victory is only from Allah, not from people or causes. While we follow causes, we only depend on the Creator of causes. • When Allah is with you, no power can defeat you. When He withholds His help, none can grant you success. • Everything is under Allah’s command – the heavens and the earth submitted willingly. “Then He Istawā (rose over) towards the heaven when it was smoke, and said to it and to the earth: ‘Come both of you willingly or unwillingly.’ They both said: ‘We come willingly.’” — Surah Fussilat, verse 11 • Guidance is only from Allah, so always ask Him for it. “Indeed, you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided.” — Surat al-Qasas, verse 56 ⸻ 🌸 Practical Steps to Earn Allah’s Help: 1. Fulfill the obligations – guard your prayers at their stated fixed times! 2. Complete the pillars of Islam (perfectly) zakat, fasting, and Hajj when able. 3. Increase in extra good deeds – voluntary prayers, remembrance (dhikr), charity, and glorification. 4. Purify the heart – sincerity and reliance upon Allah in all affairs. 5. Follow the means – but depend on the Creator of means. 6. Make Duah for Guidance & Protection. Regularly ask Allah for steadfastness: “O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion.” 7. Follow the means – but depend on the Creator of means. Hadith Qudsi: “I am as My servant thinks of Me. I can do whatever He thinks I can…” ⸻ 🌿 Reminder: This world is filled with trials—one catastrophe goes away when another one shows up. Yet Allah promises His slaves: “…Verily, with hardship comes ease. Verily, with hardship comes ease.” — Surah al-Sharh, verse 5–6 So be patient, rely upon Allah, and He will open for you doors you never expected. Whoever entrusts Allah with his affairs, Allah will preserve, protect, and guide him. If you are defended by Allah, you are immune from all harm. ⸻ 🕊️ Put your trust in Allah – and Allah will take care of all your affairs. — Shaykh Musa Jibril حفظه الله https://t.me/LightOfTheTruth
