  • Yesterday, in Panjokhra Sahib, Ambala, people protested on the national highway demanding the registration of an FIR against Gursimran Singh Mand. Haryana police lathi-charged and fired tear gas shells at these protesters too, injuring several. On August 7th, Gursimran Singh Mand, president of the 'International Anti-Khalistan Terrorist Front', arrived at the Panjokhra Sahib Gurdwara in Ambala with Y+ security and rammed his car into several people. Instead of filing an FIR against Mand, the police arrested two people for allegedly 'attacking' him. The Brahmanical Hindutva fascist state continues to repress those fighting for their democratic rights. The police works not for the people but to maintain this exploitative system. Workers, peasants, and students are constantly being repressed under its reign. After 80 years of so-called independence, who is truly free? In the name of development, Adivasi lands are being snatched away, forests and resources are being plundered by corporations for profit and mining, while those who oppose or question this are silenced or imprisoned. The women who waged armed struggle against the enemies of the working class are glorified as harmless icons, portraying them as if these women posed no threat to the exploiting class. It's time to ask whose freedom are we celebrating? Bhagat Singh said, "Let us declare that the state of war does exist and shall exist so long as the Indian toiling masses and the natural resources are being exploited by a handful of parasites. They may be purely British Capitalist or mixed British and Indian or even purely Indian." Now it is the responsibility of the youth to take this struggle forward and accomplish the new democratic revolution so that the rule of the workers and peasants can be established and we can become truly free. यह आज़ादी झूठी है, लुटेरों की चांदी है। This freedom is false, it is the silver of the looters. Majdoor Adhikar Sanghatan – 15th August 2026 Note: We want to direct our readers' attention to the fact that this statement by MAS on the brutal repression the reactionary state apparatus directed against the fighting peasants of Haryana was cowardly hidden by the imperialist corporate 'Meta' for Indian viewers on both Facebook and Instagram. As an independent media collective promoting Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, we stand resolutely against all censorship of progressive ideas. Down with the censorship regime! 2/2

  • MAS – HR | Statement: Majdoor Adhikar Sangathan Condemns the lathicharge by Haryana Police in Hansi and Ambala. Police lathi-charged Kisans [henceforth referred to as peasants – Red Channel] who had gathered to protest the Chief Minister's program in Hansi on 'Independence Day', injuring dozens of protesters. A video shows the Superintendent of Police throwing stones at protesters. The main accused in the murder of dairy operator Jeevan Kundu in Hisar remains at large. Police are delaying the arrest of the main accused, Ramesh Pandit, because he is related to a BJP MLA. Relatives and villagers had already announced their intention to block the CM's 'Independence Day' program, demanding his arrest. As a result, the villagers and relatives arrived to protest the Chief Minister's program on Saturday – immediately, police brutally lathi-charged the protesters near the Sisai Bridge. 1/2

  • CEM – HR | Statement: Long live the revolution, comrades! Today, August 15th, marks the completion of 80 years of so-called 'independence.' Friends, this is not true independence; it was merely a transfer of power from the British into the hands of Indian looters/exploiters – a transition that is being labeled as 'independence.' We, the comrades of the Chhatra Ekta Manch (Student Unity Forum), believe that India never truly became independent; only the face as well as the methods used to exploit the people changed. The current state of the country bears witness to this. Bhagat Singh, too, held the view that freedom remains incomplete as long as one human exploits another and one nation exploits another. Let us usher in New Democracy to realize this unfinished freedom and transform India into a truly democratic country. We appeal to all justice-loving people, supporters, intellectuals, and toilers to struggle for genuine democracy of the working people, for revolution is impossible without a solid unity. The solution to the problems of workers, peasants, women, students and youth lies in the New Democratic Revolution! There is only one path, one path: Naxalbari, Naxalbari! Long Live Marxism-Leninism-Maoism! Long Live the New Democratic Revolution! Long Live Worker-Peasant-Student Unity! Long Live Women's Liberation!

  • Besides these movements on partial demands the party has mobilised the masses on various political issues. Dharnas, rasta rokos, public meetings have been held on – implementation of the Mandal Commission report, on support of the nationality struggles, on support of the minorities and against the destruction of the Babri Maszid, in support of Dalits and against the Dalit killings at Karamchedu and Chundur, and against womens’ oppression. Big agitations were taken against the New Economic Policies, against the GATT accord and the IMF and World Bank. Every year April 15 (the day the Dunkel accord was signed) is observed as anti-imperialist day. On that day, meetings, dharnas, processions are held in village after village and in many places effigies of Dunkel and PV Narasimha Rao have been burnt. Also, as a rule, in every area, every year: January 26 and August 15 are observed by hoisting black flags, wearing black badges and holding protest meeting against this fake independence; May 21st is observed as anti-repression day and December 6th as Black Day – against communalism. Also on every May Day the Red Flag is hoisted and celebrations are held and March 8 is celebrated as International Women’s Day. One of the most important political struggles, right from the inception of the Party, has been the ‘boycott election’ campaign. During the surcharged atmosphere of the elections it has been the most effective time to carry the political programme of the Party and educate the masses on the need to negate this farcical democracy and take to the path of armed agrarian revolution for a truly New Democratic society. India, not having gone through a bourgeois democratic revolution, has a parliamentary scaffolding built around an autocratic semi-feudal, semi-colonial state structure. Parliament is used as an important weapon to pacify the masses, divert their attention from struggle and lead them astray. In India, participation in elections has no practical value whatsoever... and this has now been proved by the electoral semantics of many a revolutionary group. They continue to flounder as marginal entities, while those boycotting and leading the armed struggle are a growing force. – 30 Years of Naxalbari: An Epic of Heroic Struggle And Sacrifice, Part 9: Political Campaigns

  • Suniti Kumar Ghosh – On the Transfer of Power in India (PDF) In this short but well-sourced article, the esteemed Marxist theoretician and erstwhile CCM of CPI (ML) Suniti Kumar Ghosh succinctly illustrates the revolutionary situation which prevailed in pre-47 India, the machinations of British imperialism and its ruling class' different factions, the comprador nature of the Congress and Muslim League leaderships acting in the service of those imperialists, as well as the hesitancy and failure of the CPI, to demonstrate with clarity that the 15th of August – black day of the transfer of power – only marked India's transition from a direct colony into a semi-colony, well-planned and agreed to by British imperialism with the support of US imperialism to safeguard its interests. A must-read for all those seeking to genuinly overthrow imperialism and thus break the colonial yoke over India once and for all on the path to world communism.

  • bsCEM – DL | Video: India On the 79th Black Day of the Transfer of Power We don’t want independence! We don’t want independence where the English rulers are replaced by the local ‘brown’ elites. We don’t want freedom where this wretched system of exploitation and slavery continues to torment the toiling classes. We are striving for an independence that would transform this cruel system through a socialist revolution. – Paraphrase Attributed to Shaheed Bhagat Singh in The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002) Down with Imperialism! Smash Brahmanical Hindutva Fascism! Long Live New Democratic Revolution!

  • Revolutionary Salute to Comrade Vijay Reddy – DKSZCM – and Comrade Lokesh Salame – RKB-DVC – on the Occasion of Their 1st Martyrdom Anniversary Today, one year ago, two brave communist revolutionaries of India sacrificed their lives in the cause of bringing the New Democratic Revolution as the stepping stone to Socialism-Communism to success. One of them is Comrade Vijay Reddy, a Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee (DKSZC) Member born in Balarampuram, undivided AP, who dedicated more than 30 years of his life to the ongoing revolution. Comrade Lokesh Salame was the Secretary of the Rajnandgaon-Kanker Border Divisional Committee (RKB-DVC), an excellent Adivasi leader hailing from Bastar's Rajnandgaon district. At the place of their martyrdom, various photos were found, including one of Comrade Vijay (1) and his partner, Comrade Rupi (2), an ACM level Comrade who became a martyr this year. Let us pay our humble tribute to those brave martyrs and fulfil their work! Comrade Vijay and Comrade Lokesh Amar Rahe!

  • Revolutionary Salutes to Martyr-Comrade Nilesh Madkam @ Arun, ACM of CPI (Maoist), on his 1st Martyrdom Anniversary Exactly one year ago, on August 13 2025, Comrade Arun bravely faced the exploiting class armed forces, including Jharkhand police and the CRPF, which were on a counterrevolutionary operation to terrorize the working people. On that morning, in the Souta area of Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district, the Area Committee Member of the revolutionary communist party sacrificed his life to protect the revolutionary movement alongside his comrades. Comrade Arun hailed from Ka Enta village in Sukma District, Chhattisgarh. He was said to be a commander in the PLGA. As far as available information goes, his unyielding spirit of self-sacrifice saved the lives of his other comrades, who were able to conduct a safe retreat from the enemy without any further casualties. Let us take an oath to continue the class struggle on the path, crimson-red with the blood of the martyrs. Comrade Arun Amar Rahe!

  • That day, too, the proctorial guard tried to halt our program; nevertheless, our members voiced their message and exposed the administration before the students. Through revolutionary songs, they demonstrated that we are revolutionaries – agents of social change – who will not be deterred by intimidation. Comrade Dhruv conducted the proceedings. Comrade Mukesh spoke on behalf of the organization, paying tribute to the martyrs and highlighting their contributions. He elucidated the path of the Indian revolution as outlined by Comrade Charu – explaining how India is a semi-colonial, semi-feudal state where only a New Democratic Revolution, led by workers and peasants, can succeed in establishing a people's government. Comrade Charu had led the Naxalbari movement, in which a large number of peasants waged a struggle against local feudal lords and landlords to assert their claims over the land. Furthermore, while highlighting the internal party struggle waged by Comrade Charu Majumdar against opportunism, liquidationism, and revisionism, Mukesh emphasized that revolutionaries today must intensify the struggle not only against external enemies but also against those internal adversaries who, cloaked in the guise of Marxism, have defected to the camp of the exploiting class. Comrade Mukesh also spoke about other martyrs, including Pandu Narote, Kanhai Chatterjee, G.N. Saibaba, and Basavaraju, who waged a relentless struggle against this exploitative state system and were martyred in the struggle. Additionally, members of the organization's cultural troupe, Aahwan, presented several revolutionary people's songs with great fervor, including "Hum Inquilab Hain," "Gaon Chhodab Nahi," "Communist International," "Ae Lal Farere Teri Kasam," "Tumko Lal Salaam Saathi," and "Lal Jhanda Lekar Comrade." Through these songs, and while in the presence of the administration, they paid a revolutionary salute to all the martyrs, fueling the fighting spirit and calling for the continuation of the martyrs' legacy, the intensification of the struggle for Jal-Jangal-Zameen (water, forests, and land), and the fight against this feudal-patriarchal, Brahmanical state. Long live the revolution! Down with imperialism! Revolutionary salute to all the martyrs! 2/2

  • BSM – UP | Varanasi: Cultural Program for Martyrs' Week Conducted by Students Against Intimidation Attempts Comrades, on Saturday (08/08/2026) the Varanasi unit of the Bhagat Singh Students Morcha organized a cultural program to mark Martyrs' Week, during which the BHU administration attempted to prevent our members from holding the event. Comrades, we observe that whenever we organize programs, commemorate our martyrs, speak for the people, and raise our voices against exploitation, the administration tries to stop us or attempts to intimidate us later by setting up inquiry committees. Yet, in doing so, it exposes its own true character: that it is an instrument for upholding this exploitative state system rather than an institution dedicated to the people's welfare. However, comrades, despite every possible attempt to silence the voice of the people, they cannot stop this revolutionary legacy from being carried forward by the people. 1/2

  • bsCEM – DL | Video: Former DU Student Comrade Gurkirat Exposes Fascist State Intimidation, Remains Firm In a video shared on social media, former bsCEM comrade and present PU student Gurkirat exposes in fierce tone the constant harassment and escalating repression faced by revolutionary-democratic voices as committed by the rotten state's repressive organs and the fascist ABVP. She clarifies, stating that a state so afraid of a revolutionary ideology and students who question its systemic violence, reveals its moribund character & ultimate weakness. Due to censorship by the imperialist corporate 'Meta', the comrade was forced to film two videos, even the second one got taken down. We attached both, the second of which features English subtitles. We stand firmly against all state repression on revolutionary & democratic forces and condemn this cowardly censorship. Let us unite against state repression! Smash Brahmanical Hindutva Fascism! Scrap Surajkund Scheme! Scrap NIA! Release all Political Prisoners!
