Rosh Chodesh Elul 🌙✨ Rosh Chodesh Elul marks the beginning of a deeply significant season—a time to draw near to the Lord, examine our hearts, and prepare ourselves spiritually for the appointed times ahead. Elul is traditionally associated with repentance (teshuvah), restoration, prayer, and returning wholeheartedly to God. As we enter this new month, may the Holy Spirit reveal what needs to be restored, awaken a deeper hunger for His presence, and lead us into greater intimacy with Him. 🌑✨ On August 12, 2026, a total solar eclipse will cross the skies over Greenland, Iceland, and Spain, with totality also reaching a very small area of Portugal. A partial eclipse will be visible across much of Europe, as well as parts of North America and Africa. As this remarkable celestial event unfolds before the nations, let us lift our eyes beyond the sign itself and turn our hearts toward the One who created the heavens. 🙏 Let us pray for the faithful remnant in these nations—that they may be strengthened, awakened, and filled with boldness to stand firm in this hour. May the Lord give His people discernment to understand the times, remain watchful in prayer, and shine His light in the midst of their nations. 🙏🇨🇴 Let us pray for Colombia. Following the powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck western Colombia, affecting communities across the country and leaving families facing loss, damage, and uncertainty, let us stand together in prayer. May the Lord extend His mercy over Colombia, protect those still in vulnerable areas, strengthen rescue workers and first responders, comfort every family that is grieving, and bring healing and restoration to those who have been affected. May God calm every fearful heart and surround the nation with His presence and protection. As the Body of Messiah let us intercede for Colombia and declare that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). 🙏🌎 Let us unite in prayer for California (USA), Japan, and Venezuela—nations that have recently been shaken by earthquakes. In the midst of these events, let us remember that our hope is not in circumstances but in the Lord, who is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let us pray that God will extend His mercy over these lands, protect families, strengthen first responders, comfort those who have suffered loss, and grant peace in the midst of uncertainty. As God's people, let us respond with compassion and intercession, asking the Lord to bring restoration to those who have been affected and awaken many hearts to return to Him.
