Ahle Haqq

Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said, “Celebrating Mawlid is an innovation and forbidden.” [فتاوى أركان الأ سلام 172]

Abdul Aziz Ibn Baz رحمه الله said, "Similar to the mother's day celebration others have innovated celebrating birthdays, independence days, ascension to the throne and other occasions. These are all bidahs which muslims have taken from the enemies of Allah neglecting the warnings and prohibitions of shariah." [Majmo al Fatawa Vl. 5 Pg. 191]

حب الوطن من الایمان Sheikh al Albani رحمه الله classed it as being Mawdoo' (fabricated) in al Silsilah al Hadeeth ad Da'eefah Vl.1 pg. 36 Sheikh al Uthaymeen رحمه الله said, “Like for example ‘Love for one’s homeland is from faith’. It is famous near the general people, that this is a Saheeh hadith, this hadith is fabricated and false. It’s meaning is also not correct, rather, love of one’s homeland is from prejudice.” [Sharh al Manzuma al Bayquniyya fee Mustalah al Hadith pg. 70]

Aisha رضي الله عنها narrated: “In the lifetime of Allah's Messenger ﷺ the sun eclipsed so he led the people in prayer and stood up and performed a long Qiyam then bowed for a long while. He stood up again and performed a long Qiyam but this time the period of standing was shorter than the first. He bowed again for a long time but shorter than the first one then he prostrated and prolonged the prostration. He did the same in the second rakah as he did in the first and then finished the prayer by then the sun eclipse had cleared. He delivered the Khutba and after praising and glorifying Allah he ﷺ said, “The sun and the moon are two signs against the signs of Allah they do not eclipse on the death or life of anyone. So when you see the eclipse, remember Allah and say Takbir pray and give Sadaqa." The Prophet then said, "O followers of Muhammad! By Allah! There is none who has more ghairah than Allah as He has forbidden that His slaves, male or female commit adultery. O followers of Muhammad! By Allah! If you knew that which I know you would laugh little and weep much.” [Bukhari 1044]

Ibn Juraij رحمه اللّه said, "The Salaf would remain silent for the mu'adhin [at the time of calling the Adhan] as they would remain silent for the Quran.” [Fath ul Baari 2/92]

Sheikh Uthaymeen رحمه اللّه said, "A woman's work in her home like taking care of her husband's affairs such as preparing food for him is better for her than reading the Quran and she will be rewarded for that." [Suw'al Ala al Hatif]

Ibn Qudamah رحمه اللّه said, “It is undesirable to breastfeed a child with the breastmilk of a stupid woman so that the child does not become like her in stupidity. It is said : Breastfeeding changes personalities.” [ابن قدامة المقدسي، المغني 8/194]

Ibn al Qayyim رحمه الله said: ‎“Among the rights of Allah upon His servant is to repel those who attack His Book, His Messenger and His religion and to strive against them with evidence, clarification with the sword and with the tongue with the heart and with wealth. And beyond that there is not even the weight of a mustard seed of faith.” ‎[Hidayah al Hiyarah Pg. 20]

Sheikh al Fawzan حفظه الله said, "People dont pray and say that religion is in their hearts if it was in their hearts they would have prayed.” [Al Ittihāf Pg. 536]

Sheikh al Fawzan حفظه الله said, "Our religion is not a religion of chaos. Our religion is a religion of structure, calm and tranquility. Protests are not from the actions of the Muslims nor are they something that Muslims know well." [Al Ijaabatul Muhimmah fil Mashaakil al Mulimmah]

Sheikh al Fawzan حفظه اللّٰه said, “A woman who gets married to a man who takes care of her, maintains her, protects her and she gives birth to righteous children even if she is the 4th wife is better than her remaining a widow or unmarried." [لزوجين ٢٠٠ سؤال وجواب]

Sheikh Ibn Baz رحمه الله said, “Whoever's affair has been made easy they should marry even if it is before his older brother even if it is before their older sister. He should not wait. When Allah makes marriage easy then let him rush to marriage.” [Marital Guide Authentic statements Pg. 39]

Ibn al Qayyim رحمه الله said, “Excessive sleep deadens the heart, burdens the body, wastes time and breeds excessive heedlessness and laziness. Some types of sleep are highly disliked, and others are harmful and provide no benefit to the body.” [Madarij al Salikin Vl. 2 Pg. 96]

Men are the protectors and maintainers of women. [4:34] Muqbil bin Hadi al Wadi رحمم اللّٰه says, “Allah knows her condition and that she is weak and lacking in intellect and religion. If she had iron and fire in her hands, she would misuse them. If divorce were in her hands she would divorce her husband twenty times in a single day. After her anger subsides, she would cry and would not like to go to her family after having divorced him twenty times. For this reason Allah Glorified and Exalted placed qiwamah (authority responsibility) in the hands of men.” [تحفة المجيب على أسئلةالحاضروالغريب ص ٤٢٦]

Ibn Qudamah رحمه الله said, “The preference is to not marry more than one wife, as mentioned in Al-Mujarrad due to the saying of Allah Almighty: If you fear you will not be just, then only one. (4:3) And due to His saying: You will never be able to be just between your wives, even if it is your ardent desire. (4:129)” [Al Sharh al Kabir 20/24]

If one day your husband does not allow you to have what you wish still speak to him with gentle words and say: "May Allah increase you in good. Your status is not lowered due to the fact you cannot give me everything I ask for. Indeed for me you have done much good and if you are generous to me then I will be thankful. If you abstain from giving me that which I desire then my heart will be patient, I will overlook your faults, pardon you of your mistakes because overall you have been kind and generous to me. Abdur Razzaq al Badr حفظه الله said, “The home is a place of solace and the wife is also a place of solace. The home is a place of solace for the body, whereas the wife is a place of solace for the soul.” [Sharh Umdat al Ahkaam 65]

Ahmad ibn Salamah al Naysaburi relates that Ishaq ibn Rahuyah married a woman whose late husband had possessed the books of Imam Shafi and he married her for those books. [Siyar A'lam al Nubala 10/70]
