ISRAEL: The Arava Rescue Unit has warned of possible flash floods this weekend across eastern Israel, including the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Judean Desert and northern Arava. The greatest risk is expected Saturday afternoon. Hikers and drivers are urged never to enter or cross flowing water and to wait until water levels and currents subside.

A cargo ship carrying thousands of tons of military equipment has arrived in Israel, the Defense Ministry announced. Unloading at Haifa Port is complete, with the gear set to be delivered to the IDF. The shipment included D9 bulldozers, Humvees, JLTV armored vehicles, Oshkosh trucks, and combat mobility vehicles.

IRAN: Mohammad Reza Naqdi, an adviser to the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) terror organization, said the organization must prepare to carry out “smart operations on enemy territory.” He added: “Whenever circumstances require it, we must be capable of expanding our operations into enemy territory and carrying out missions far from our borders. These are the characteristics of the offensive doctrine that must be implemented. The IRGC must be able to act against the enemy anywhere and at any time circumstances demand.”

According to a U.S. official who spoke with The Wall Street Journal, Israel provided the Trump administration with intelligence indicating a threat that shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles could be used against Air Force One as the president departed the NATO summit in Ankara. The official said several of Trump’s senior aides remained aboard Air Force One, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Earlier today, it was reported that during the July 8 flight, an unusual deception operation was carried out to conceal Trump’s location amid concerns that Iran could attempt to assassinate him or target his aircraft.

UPDATE: The NYPD says it will not provide security for Mamdani’s wife’s trip to Syria and Lebanon, both under Level 4 “Do Not Travel” advisories. The department says officers are not sent to Level 4 countries for discretionary, non-investigative trips.
