  • On the day of Jumu'ah, the believer adorns himself with two garments. The first is the Zahiri Libaas [outer garment] of cleanliness, fresh clothes, fragrance, for a dignified appearance standing infront of Allah for the congregational prayer. The second is the Baatini Libaas [inner garment ] of abundant salawat upon the Messenger of Allah, a cloak woven from raging love for him. This second garment completes the believer in his true grandeur. If either garment is absent, something of the believer remains exposed; and if the garment of salawat is neglected, he stands spiritually naked; deprived of immense blessings and stripped of deeds that could have elevated him in the sight of Allah. ~ Ahmad Ibn Haque (admin)

  • The statement, “He recognized Khadījah’s manner of seeking permission,” means that when Hālah sought permission to enter, her voice resembled Khadījah’s voice. This brought Khadījah to the Prophet’s ﷺ mind, and he was delighted. The root of all this is that a person naturally loves whatever is connected to the one he loves and is reminded of them through it.

  • Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: “I was never as jealous of any woman as I was of Khadījah, even though I never met her. This was because I constantly heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention her, praise her virtues, and speak highly of her. His love for her was immense, and much goodness had come to him through her. Indeed, among the things most beloved to a person are those connected to the one he loves. That is why the Prophet ﷺ said concerning Khadījah: ‘I was blessed with her love.’ He would even send gifts to the friends of Khadījah after her passing, as a sign of his noble character and his loyalty. Whenever he saw Hālah bint Khuwaylid, Khadījah’s sister, he would become joyful because her voice and manner reminded him of Khadījah.

  • If Allah intends good guidance for His servant, He makes him recognize that whathe is in is one of Allah's blessings upon him. He makes him content with it and inspires him to be grateful for it. Then, if he thinks about leaving it, he seeks Allah's guidance, knowing that he is ignorant of what is truly best for him, incapable of determining it himself, and therefore entrusts the matter to Allah, asking Him to choose what is best.

  • [A hidden affliction] One of the common hidden afflictions is that a person may be living in a blessing that Allah has bestowed upon him and chosen for him, yet he grows tired of it and hopes to move to something else, thinking out of ignorance that it would be better for him. Out of His mercy, Allah does not remove him from that blessing and excuses him for his ignorance and poor choice. But when he becomes fed up with the blessing, dissatisfied with it, and deeply weary of it, Allah takes it away from him. Then, when he moves to what he had desired and sees the difference between what he had and what he has now, his anxiety and regret intensify, and he longs to return to his former state.

  • Shaykh ʿAbd al-Muḥsin al-Qāsim said: Eloquence, fluency, and clear expression are not a condition for calling to Allāh. The one spoken to by ar-Raḥmān, Mūsā عليه السلام, his tongue was heavy from clarity and he asked Allah saying: “And untie the knot from my tongue” [Tā Hā: 27]. His enemy Firʿawn mocked him, saying: “Or am I [not] better than this one [i.e., Mūsā] who is insignificant and hardly makes himself clear??” [ al-Zukhruf: 52] meaning, in his claim, that he could not speak well or express himself clearly. Despite that, his ummah became among the most numerous of the nations in followers after the Ummah of Muḥammad ﷺ. So convey with whatever you have been given of knowledge and abilityaccording to your effort and capacity, and do not let your shyness prevent you from conveying good. ▫️[Khuṭuwāt ilá as-Saʿādah by Shaykh ʿAbd al-Muḥsin al-Qāsim p.156]

  • Anas ibn Mālik said: Abū Ṭalḥah met the Prophet ﷺ while he was coming out from one of his rooms and said: “O Messenger of Allah! By Allah, I have never ceased to see you cheerful and happy, but I have never seen your face more radiant than it is today. I think that Jibrīl (Gabriel) has come to you today with some glad tidings!” The Prophet ﷺ replied: “Yes! He has just left me a short while ago. He informed me that Allah says: ‘No Muslim sends one ṣalāh (blessing) upon you except that I and My angels send ten blessings upon him.' #salwat #salutation #salawat

  • 0 Allah, let no Muslim sleep this blessed day without having eaten meat. O Allah, just as You caused floods of water to flow from the blessed fingers of the Prophet when there was scarcity of water, place miraculous barakah in our qurbani meat, and by Your miracle Please let meat reach every home.

  • Eid mubarak to the captives, oppressed, orphaned, the widows, the misplaced and the homeless. Eid Mubarak to all the Muslims suffering. May this eid end all your sufferings and bring you happiness. Eid Mubarak to all the Muslims around the world. TaqabalAllahu minna wa minkum. Let's remember the real happiness doesn't lie in expensive clothes, but in the purity of our hearts. Let's pray for the Ummah on this day.

  • “Whoever misses standing at ‘Arafah this year, then let him stand before Allah with the true reverence due to Him. Whoever is unable to spend the night at Muzdalifah, then let him firmly resolve upon obedience to Allah, for indeed nearness to Him has approached and drawn close. Whoever cannot stand in fear and hope (before Allah), then let him stand with true hope and fear before Him. Whoever is unable to offer a sacrifice like this gift, then let him slaughter the desires of his soul here and now, for he has already attained the wished-for meaning. Whoever does not reach the House because he is far from it, then let him turn toward the Lord of the House — for indeed He is nearer to the one who calls upon Him than his jugular vein.” لطائف المعارف فيما لمواسم العام من الوظائف لابن رجب دار ابن كثير / ٤٩٩
